I can't contact musician booked with music list via e mail!

The most painful process ever trying to book a guitarist via Annie at Encore. Hopefully the musician will be awesome but the booking process has been horrendous - slow and incorrect information given. Lots of way better management companies out there. Would avoid encore for any future bookings.

Very helpful quick response

We hired a violinist for our wedding day last month but unfortunately they had to cancel at short notice, but Gaynor Sutcliffe came to the rescue and saved the day!
And what an amazing performer she is!

Everyone commented how beautiful her work was on our day. She is so very talented, and clearly takes her work very seriously with how dedicated and detailed she is.

We absolutely loved having Gaynor be a part of our wedding and making our day so very special.

The Encore musicians platform made the process of finding and contacting potential bands for our wedding so much easier, it was a seamless process and we had a quick turnaround for getting everything sorted. It's especially great that encore provide protection for the musicians too.

Booking and paying deposit was easy. Speaking to customer team members was great, they acted as go between & I added extra DJ at the end so everything went well. I even got to message with the bands I booked so that was great too. Everyone was really professional & friendly & helpful.
The process itself of paying was slightly frustrating, as was using the site. I kept losing the bands I picked & kept getting other bands contacting me when I had already booked with others. There didn’t appear to be a clear way of going back to my bookings and checking details without talking to someone which wasn’t always immediate or prompt. There was also a slight frustration that I couldn’t pay small amounts off the total balances which made it stressful. I booked over £3,000 worth of entertainment and after paying a deposit it left quite a lot of money to hold onto & pay until months later when the balances automatically came out of my original payment method. It made me nervous having to remember those different dates & amounts & accts at a time I’m paying a lot of different amounts out for my wedding & working & everything else a bride has to do 1 month before her wedding. Would have been better to allow payments throughout the yr to bring down the balance and have an email about a month before the different balances were due with all the details as I did get a bit confused at payment time and with so many payments due out around the same time I actually tried paying early to avoid any more confusion but encores policy is you can only do this after a certain date.
More flexibility around paying off balances in part & early would have made a huge difference to my experience.
This said, I have exactly the right bands I wanted and even though they were more expensive than I expected, there were lots of options and choice of style, cost etc and I’m very happy with the service. I would definitely use again.

Luke Webster is the most amazing singer/guitarist I have had the privilege to meet and hear. Luke’s music relates to many people in every possible way. His music is about real life experiences plus popular instrumentals. Luke’s voice is incredible. You must hear him to appreciate his range. Luke is extremely professional and very accommodating. I would recommend Luke for any function. He is very mesmerising.

We were absolutely delighted by Lesley's performance at our friend's wedding.She was recommended by friends of ours who had seen her perform before and we decided to book her as a surprise for the happy couple.The range of her music made for a wonderful day and thoroughly enjoyed by all the guests attending.

So helpful at finding the right musicians for our wedding. Questions quickly answered and a very friendly and personal service.

Be very careful with their cancellation/change policy. Zero empathy or concern. Even a year out.

Expect the usual refer to T’s and C’s reply they hide behind.

From the moment I put my ad out I was kept in touch and checked in with by one of the team.

Such easy communication as well with the musicians.

We used encore to hire saxophonist Shagzy Sax. Both the booking company & the Saxophonist were amazing. Prompt response to queries and a smooth booking/payment system.

We used Encore to hire Lee Dawson for our wedding reception 24/08/24 and we are so glad we did.

Lee is an amazing singer and fantastic at engaging the audience. We were apprehensive with it being the afternoon, it would be music in the background, but after the first couple of songs it was so reassuring the party were all listening intently. People asking if he could play certain songs and complimenting him on his choices. Our only regret is not being able to just sit and listen to the whole set as we had to engage with our guests.
