I’ve ordered from them a couple of times in the past (a few years ago) and had good experiences. Ordered a dress on May 28 of this year that was supposed to be delivered by June 16. That date came and went and the dress is still listed in kit creation. At least ten emails to them have gone unanswered, plus one voicemail and a complaint filed with the BBB. I’m incredibly upset not as much at the delay but at the total lack of response. This dress was for a celebration of life for a close friend and now I have to find something else. Thanks so much, eshakti, for adding insult to injury and making an already painful situation even more unpleasant. I will never order from them again.

I ordered a dress in March for an event in May. My order never moved out of the pattern made stage. The delivery date passed and it took numerous attempts to get a response. They blamed the fabric vendors. It is now June, they still do not have the fabric and I do not have a dress or any idea on when to expect my order. My payment was processed in March. I have asked for a refund and that request has not been addressed.

Former happy customer. Dress ordered for daughter's wedding, never arrived. Tried everywhere to find a worthy replacement. Ugly, immodest stuff readily available from other stores. Had to wear an older dress from my closet - thank God I could get it cleaned in time, and it still fit. No refund yet.

Do not shop with this company! I placed an over $400 order last December and only received one item after waiting four-five months. So I confirmed cancellation with eshakti for the remaining items. I paid through an installment company and they never notified the installment company. So I continue to be charged for my order of which was cancelled. I reached out many times to a very non responsive eshakti via phone and email to finally get a response saying it will be processed that week mind you this is from December 2023 and finally got that last response in May 2024! I then continued to see the charges for my order from the installment partner so I know they never processed it! Or reached out to that company! I sent many more emails to get no response! Now my very last installment to pay off the $400+ order I never received is coming out and I’ve just been completely stollen from for the full amount. I ordered from Eshakti about 8 years ago and had a decent experience but this round I 100% believe they scammed me! Funny side note: I became pregnant in December 2023 and I’ve been able to make a full human almost in the same exact timeline before them even getting close to getting this resolved. Look anywhere else for your clothing needs!

If I could give zero stars I would! I have given then $500+ for orders they have not fulfilled. I have asked for refunds and never received them. I have been going through this since March of this year.
They are a scam. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

Eshakti was my go to for years. They earned a five star rating every time I ordered until last year. Like everyone else here, I started experiencing lengthy delays, terrible workmanship, and ignored emails. My last order I finally cancelled after waiting months, but never received a refund. Do not buy from them unless a miracle happens and they return to their former glory.

Placed my order on May, 7, 2024. After one month I begin to send emails after emails asking for an update. They never replied. On their website, on ‘my order’ the status is ‘production done’ and that’s it.

Placed an order for a dress on April 28. I requested for an update on May 23. I received a response saying it’s delayed. There’s a manufacturing defect. I requested for a cancellation. By May 30, I received an email that a refund is being processed. I filed a complaint against eshakti with BBB on June 11. As of June 20, refund status is still being processed. Eshakti is a scam.

I have been a client since 2014.
I placed my (last) order on April 22, 2024.
Order was confirmed and since then, silence from the company except for the many promotional emails they send daily.
They update the site continuously with new products but the orders are delayed (if lucky) or plain just not delivered.
This used to be a great company and I have dozens of dresses, skirts, jumpsuits from them.
I payed with Paypal so I am going to contact them soon. Hopefully I will get a refund.

I wanted so much to love this business. The dresses are unique and beautiful and the options for customization are unique and appreciated. I ordered a dress in early March for a late April event. I was not informed that the dress was not even in production "because of fabric issues" until it was too late and I had to go and purchase a different dress. I contacted customer service two times before I was told about the fabric issues. Because my event had already passed and the dress wasn't even in process, I requested a refund. It has now been 8 weeks and I have not seen a refund applied. I am getting reallly frustrated with their lack of follow through and communication.

It is long ago since they don't deliver. Already June 2023 they were not producing. Avoid it, there are good alternatives for custom dresses such as Sumissura

Once upon a time this company delivered. Along with the many past customers who have gotten the "fabric supplier" issue email - folks, I'm done. Every event I ordered my dresses for has now passed. I feel betrayed.

Update - it's September 7th - I ordered in March - Still no dresses.

I have placed my order in Jan 2024 thinking I had plenty of time to receive the dress for a wedding as the site said it would take 2 weeks. It has now been 5 months and I keep receiving the same message about the fabric not being available. I am afraid they are keeping people's money and running with it. They keep advertising and sending emails with deals. Do not order from this company.

I ordered a dress on 12/5 and havent received it till to date.
How to track my order

I placed an order on 4/28/24. Confirmation said it would be delivered within 2-4 weeks. It has now been 7 weeks. No dress and they have my money.
I have sent 4 emails and called twice. Absolutely no communication - not even an automated response.
I think this company is a scam.

I should have done more research before ordering from this company as I have had the same experience as many others. I ordered a standard size dress in February 2024 that I have not received. When I reach out to customer service, I am provided the same excuse that many others have received--that there was an issue with the fabric.

I had a first delivery of a custom dress delivered in 6weeks. ok. no biggy given i am in Australia.

This time i ordered 3 items standard products no customisation in Feb 2024, and after 4 months not a delivery in site. i have asked for a refund several time and all i get is a generic email saying they are experience fabric quality control.

Please don't order, especially for a special occasion.

I ordered a couple of items (1 custom, 1 off the rack) 3 years ago and was very happy with the product. But this time, I ordered well over two months ago and have not received the dress. The progress bar on their website hasn't budged in some time. It's clear that it won't arrive before the event next weekend. No one answers the phone, returns my voicemail, responds to my help inquiries online, or replies to my emails.

I placed an order for two items in Eshakti's after-Christmas sale (2023) for two events at the beginning and end of March.  The estimated delivery date was the end of January. Well, that date came and went with no order update or message from the company and no delivery of the items.  So I tried to reach customer service. I submitted a query in their online customer service form and never heard back. I tried calling their customer support line, if you are on hold for more than 3 minutes it brings you to a voicemail box and ends your call, with no option to wait for a representative.  
After trying to call many times (and leaving several voice messages) over the course of about 2 weeks, I finally got through to a representative.  She told me that the fabrics I had chosen were both back ordered and would not get to the company for the clothes to be made until after the two events I had ordered them for (a fact that was not communicated in the buying process or afterward). So I canceled the order and she said she was starting the refund.  
Well, the refund never came through. A month later I began the same process of trying to reach customer service. Still no response to online or voice messages.  And this time I have had no luck getting through to a person on the customer support phone number.  (looking at my phone records I've tried 34 times over the last 6 weeks).  So in the end, after 5.5 months I am out $170 with no items to show for it. 

The clothing may be worth it but after the terrible experience I had with this order I will never try the company again to find out.

I ordered 2 dresses on 4/26 /2024 for an event scheduled for 6/27/24. The company charged my credit card on 4/29/2024. The confirmation email I received stated a 2 to 4 week delivery. It has now been 6 weeks and no merchandise or update has been received from the company. If you can Customer Service, you can never get a live person, only leave an email of which I have left 3. After 2 emails, the last of which included a threat to contact the BBB, I finally received a response that stated they were awaiting the order of material and were having supply issues. I'm sorry but, if you didn't have the material for the order when I ordered it, why was I not informed? Why did it take a threat to even get a response? I have requested a cancellation of the order and my money back since I will now have to purchase a dress elsewhere, and am still waiting for an answer on a refund. My next step will be my credit card company. I will NEVER order from or recommend this company to anyone EVER!
