As ever with Field Doctor, the service is exceptionally good. The online methods of ordering are very simple and can be progressed easily. Field Doctor can be recommended to everyone who cares about eating healthily.

⭐ 1-Star Review Field Doctor.
Field Doctor initially accepted responsibility for my order arriving after the delivery date, thawed, and unsafe to eat, and confirmed in email ( to which I have also saved) that a refund would be issued.
Out of courtesy and transparency, I informed them that I had already raised the issue with my bank to avoid a duplicate refund.
Despite this, today Field Doctor has decided to challenged the bank dispute and attempted to reclaim the money for food that was inedible and unsafe.
For clarity, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be:
Of satisfactory quality
Fit for purpose
Delivered as agreed
Frozen food that arrives thawed and late fails all of these requirements. Consumers are legally entitled to a full refund in such circumstances. This is not a goodwill gesture it is statutory consumer protection.
What is most disappointing is not the delivery issue, but the incompetent and contradictory handling afterwards. Accepting responsibility via email, then disputing the refund through a bank, is completely unacceptable and causes unnecessary stress for the customer.
I acted reasonably, promptly, and transparently throughout. Field Doctor did not.
Based on this experience, I would urge others to think carefully before ordering especially if food safety and reliable customer service matter to you.

It’s not just at Christmas that the cook in the house needs a well earned break with easy to prepare meals. Field Doctor comes to the rescue with a fabulous range of gluten free and FODMAP meals for cooks like me. Thank you. Merry Christmas and Happy, Healthy New Year.

Half the meals where terrible you ordered the same again for me I emailed complained about them you refunded them but yet again you did it last week I again emailed complained and you said subscription had been cancelled but yet again you have took mo ey if me and are in process of sending a order out that I DONT want

I’ve been ordering these meals for a while now.
I’ve had a couple of separate delivery issues, which isn’t Field Doctor’s fault. They dealt with them proactively.

I’ve had a couple of separate missing food issues, which were dealt with quickly.
Count your food items when you receive them.

The food itself is fine. Your tastebuds might have to adjust to the lower salt, sugar and fat content.
But that’s the point of healthier food, to minimise those things.

I suffer from diabetes and don’t have much time anymore to cook my own meals. I was also trying to follow a Mediterranean diet, both for my husband’s and my own health, as well as for the taste. We really appreciated the punctual delivery, the quality of the ingredients, and the great convenience of having healthy, well-prepared dishes ready to eat. My blood sugar levels also remained stable, so overall we’re very satisfied. The only downside is that after three orders, we unfortunately went through the entire menu.

I have IBS and although I enjoy cooking, these ready-meals are delicious and handy to keep in the fridge.
The portions are quite generous for me and I usually eat ⅔ at lunch and sometimes throw the rest away. Would be good to have the option of some smaller meals

I love how tailored your meal plan can be with Field Doctor! I have PCOS, and it’s always challenging to combine nutrients to meet my needs. Not anymore!
Also, the quality and freshness of the ingredients are really good. Would definitely keep using their service!

Excellent meals, that cater for special dietary requirements.
I especially like the small meals for a smaller appetite. No unpleasant additives. They feel really healthy but also extremely convenient.

Following my previous review, I have received my first order from Field doctor. Very pleased by the delivery from Hived. The meals arrived still completely frozen and it was great that I could track right up until the delivery was made.
To date I’ve had the potato topped chicken pie and the chilli con carne. Wow, they are really delicious and taste like home-made , you don’t get that over salted or processed taste like other ready made meals, even the high quality brands that are always higher in saturated fat. I just added some fresh vegetables as a side to the pie and avocado to the chilli dish…. also a bit of hot pepper sauce. I can’t wait to try the rest of the meals that I ordered. These will be a staple in my freezer from now on. I feel confident that the ingredients are healthy and of high quality.

Great meals! Not only do the meals taste better than other meal prep services I've used, but I also have quite a few (moderate, not severe) allergies and a need for low-FODMAP meals - this has been the easiest and most accommodating service, with very reasonable prices.

On top of this, we've tried a lot of different meals on offer and haven't found a single one that we didn't like! If you don't want to share how good their meals are, gatekeep them instead 🤫

So Ive tried a few different brands now & some have been watery, or too much packaging, too rich or just not appetising. Well I can genuinely say field doctor have done their research. So far all the meals have been good, tasty, healthy, feel home cooked, easy packaging & fairly quick to prepare. I prefer frozen meals as fresh ones can go off and waste. With frozen its fresh from cooking and keeps in freezer. So I'm glad to find meals that are healthy for me (health issues) and yet the whole family will still happily eat! Hurrah :-)

Packaging is good quick delivery food great although I have favourites cottage pie yummy and all good ingredients would recommend

Meals seem genuinely healthy compared to all alternatives. Delivery has been seamless.

Overall, my experience with Field Doctor has been excellent.

The quality and portion sizes of the food is very good and delivery always punctual.

I really don’t like ready meals, won’t buy jar sauces etc. I’ve always cooked from fresh so was hesitant to order frozen meals.

All I can say is I have really enjoyed the meals I’ve had. They don’t taste “plastic” or full of salt and sugar but with no real flavour. It’s nice to know that in my worst week of treatment symptoms I have some effortless healthy options.
