What a fantastic and very supportive mortgage advisor with a solid credible team. Hmmmm words cannot really describe the support they rendered to me in acquiring my first house. With 5% or10% deposit you are good to go with Ripley and the team. They never left me for once , they followed up with the solicitors pushing hard until I get my keys. Where do I start! Ripley and the team at First Time Finance have been nothing but professional, quick, patient, and extremely meticulous in understanding what you need and how to get the best mortgage offer and get you into your property.

Prior to finding First Time Finance I was in a very difficult position. I reserved a property in February 2025 and was with a broker who was not answering my calls, not providing me with the right information, and was responding to me once a week telling me that he is searching for the best deal.

The broker I was dealing with submitted a Mortgage Application, charged me as he informed he has to charge at point of submission, however the application was rejected.

I asked him what the next steps were and he said he is looking into it. I attempted to call him an every few days to find out never received a call back until maybe about 2 to 3 weeks later. The service I received was very unprofessional from the previous broker. This went on for about two months.

At this point I was under a lot of pressure as I had already reserved the property, instructed the solicitors, and also paid for extras in the property. I was also under time pressure from the developers as everything was taking so long. I honestly thought this was not going to happen and that I had all of the money I put into getting this property.

Low and behold I stumbled across a YouTube post of Ripley having an interview with someone and I thought he really knows what he’s talking about. For some reason the company name just stuck in my head and about two weeks later after my previous broker going completely ghost on me, I just googled first time finance and gave Ripley a call.

BEST DECISION EVER! If this was not done I would not be getting my dream property. Within 2 weeks, I had a mortgage offer. I can’t make this up. I would definitely recommend First Time Finance the whole process was quick and professional. From having no hope to having hope in abundance. Thanks for everything!
