Where to start, as a current employee I was owed the best of £500 which when I got in contact with my manager and it was sorted. I thought that was it but no payroll don't recognize money owed they only see an advance of money to my account. To that end they then recovered the money back again in my next month's wage bearing in mind they pay you on the 15th of the month and it's now December. Not a good time to mess anyone's pay up but you can't get hold of payroll even the managers have issues getting hold of them. Phones ring out nobody gets back to you and think they're based in Narnia. When it comes to pay this has to be the worst company I've had the misfortune of working for and unless your in a tight spot don't bother applying to work for this company.

Guys Hospital late again this service is not fit for purpose 4 times late in this is not fair on other people they hold up ST Thomas last time i believe the controller should be sacked because they think is cleaver the managers need a shake up or do not do the
London Hospitals i have know option to no longer keep on with treatment due to this lateness all the time then they will be libel

Do not answer phone calls, leave you hanging until the phone line goes dead. Does not reply to emails. Does not pick up your cash when booked in. I can't even seem to be able to leave the company. Terrible.

G4s took money from us throughout Covid when we told them to stop as we didnt receive the service at all since March 2020. We emailed and called told them we didnt need and they took all the money and wont refund us!!! shocking customer sevice, makes me so angry after the 2 years weve had!!!!

Went to steps concert last night absolute blast what lovely employee's work for u guys the lovely Pauline who's so much fun an helpful while doin her job she only deos two shifts per week absolutely brilliant person,. And sandy the team leader so kind an helpful showing me exactly where to go cos I cud get lost in a round about. Both employees are a brilliant credit to your staff team.

It is the worst company ever I worked for Avoid them
All what they think about is their contracts and money. They never appreciate anything and as a staff you have no value but just a disposable person. Their staff are just figures on papers and no respect. Managers are on the top of the list of the worst in this none professional company. Many of their supervisors are bully, hateful and harassing security staff for no reasons at all but they just do not like you. They do not listen to you if you have an incident or issue on their sites and they do not act on any issues related to staff. If you ever complained they just terminate your contract without showing why. They use some of their security staff to spy on others and always stand by the side of their spy person if guilty and literally their sites staff are just gangsters and grouping against each other including sone of the supervisors. No privacy or confidentiality if something happend all staff are taking about any incident and about each other. Lots of gossips and hate. Working with the G4S is really sickening and unhealthy. I do not advise anyone to join this evilspirited company. Look them on google about corruptions and scandals and you will be shocked!! G4S worth zero star avoid them.

There was a protest today there, they haven't paid 1000 Security Officers for working in Quarantine hotels. Haven't paid for some people up to 3 months. This is not acceptable. Police was involved in the protest. They said they will do a meeting to sort everything out, but you shouldn't need to go to a protest just to receive the money they owe you for YOUR labour. Very bad company, stay away! Look at the Google reviews (UK London) - there are pictures of the protest - look how many people were protesting - how many people didn't get paid - and then make assumptions about this company (tragic). -5 Stars if possible

G4s management have no empathy mother dies on the Thursday management want to know if your working that weekend refused a day off to attend funeral of my uncle due to manning levels.
Being asked to come in on day off but not paying full shift .

G4s management are only interested in putting ticks in the boxes have know regard for there staff..disgusting behaviour from g4s
I receive constant complaints from the guards not only from my site but other sites this has left me with stress and anxiety causing me to resign my post
These are not just my feelings but come from nearly all the g4s staff I have been in contact with in the South.

While running an event that had a road closure and town center closure a g4s driver refused to follow rules and drove past the closure signs and staff after being told they were not able and drove through a packed down center putting people in danger. A really poor company as a whole.

Security manager by name DUNKUN in Sandman Signature Gatwick is very rude.
He have zero skills how to talk to people.

Don’t ever try and get a job with these, I had an interview that went poor but on there end the people interviewing me didn’t want to be there. Then was told I would get a phone call about outcome of interview never got one but got an email perfetic.
Then to het told I’ve not got enough experience for the job when I’m already doing the same job but for a different company absolutely useless company in will be reporting g4s and taking matters further

Customer service is non existent, I've spent far too much of my day today 5rying get through to someone on he customer services line (hold for 10 minutes then just left as a potential call back) and the only time I have gotten through the member of staff ended up hanging up on me instead of putting me on hold, a mistake I could happily forgive had any attempt been made to rectify this. I feel like they'd see a much less congested phone line if they joined the modern era of courier services and just offered a tracking option via their website.

Managing the quarantine security side for UK. WHen asked the security manager what is the name of the company he refused to disclose. Said we are contractors. Definitely was cared of getting a bad review or a complaint. A pathetic organisation. Not sure how they can manage to win contracts. Ridiculing attitude of security management towards people who stay at the quarantine hotel.

I'd honestly give a 0 if I could. Place is a joke I'm expecting a large amount of money getting delivered between 1-2pm. Gets to half 2 give a ring said there's been a delay no reason why just said they'll ring back with a time that never happened, but thought it happens. So I rang back at half 4 as still haven't heard out and they said they was 33 minutes away on tracker, so rang back again an hour later and they say they was 23 minutes away cos they stopped for a break in my eyes it's a bit of a p*ss take as there not on tacho cards and there already 3/4 hours late but there ya go! Then it gets to 5pm and the customer service decides to turn the phones off and its now 7.10pm and there's still no sign so we've been to inform the police of theft and there going to the local yards to do a investigation if I was you I wouldn't trust this company with a pound coin

Worked for G4S Plymouth UK 19/7/2021, for 5 days, only got paid for 3 days, G4S have stolen 16 hours of pay from me (£155.60p)

Still no word from G4S about the pay they owe me, despite trying to call by phone (they blocked me), text (also blocked). I was also removed from the employee hub, so cannot raise my concern there either

G4S still haven't paid what they owe. Considering contacting an ombudsman.

Drivers were patient and helpful towards my disabled husband, who is also afflicted with communication difficulties.

I still work for g4s Portsmouth UK its a good job my colleagues are fun but management is the issue...
You try to contact the manager and he never replies back he just speak with you when is for is own interests.
I dont recommend the job because of lack of management.
Can be very stressful because looks like no one cares about the workers .
Manager breached my contract twice and he doesn't bother to fixe it he act's like you are in wrong all the times.
Problems at work is never deal with manager doesn't bother to investigate nothing loads of corruption manager only looks after is favourites.
No uniform since I started so still working with my clothes

G4s Southampton hilton Hotel have job for 10 day and they take 30 Security but the G4s Permanent position employee treat like criminal temporary security employee from that people I'm the one so i hate my self because they rude also talking to you like bossy and zero respect for you.
They don'taxplain the way they said "if i don't show me what they ask you Go home "
Also one of my friend who left early like me.They ask him smile and he don't want they keep push hime to smile he said no after they rude to him he left.i don't what is going on .i work security for 6 year i never ever see like this.

I went for a job Centre appointment in Barking 12-14 wakering road IG11 8QP, this was my first visit to my local job Centre in 10 years I was welcomed by two G4S security guards one white male or other one white female . they both lack basic manners and was rude and abusive towards me and in general . I was with my wife and sick child and they did not care about anything . There role supposed to be to make sure the place is safe for people but instead they were running the job Centre it seems and called me with abusive name in front of my child and wife and so I left premises without attending my appointment and I can see generally they were rude to everyone. Since I have been calling G4S London head office to raise complain but no one answers the call . It must be embarrassing for G4S that people like them represent them specially at places like job Centre . I have also raised complain at other possible forums to share my experience .
