Durch Ihr Software-Update

Durch Ihr Software-Update, ist die Anwendung für mich nicht mehr nutzbar. Das erneute Verbinden des Gocycle G4 hat nicht mehr funktioniert. Es ist unnötig kompliziert und unprofessionel programmiert. Ich fahre seit 3 Monaten nur in einem Geschwindigkeitslevel und die Unterstützung von meinem Verkaufsgeschäft war auch unbefriedigend.

Due to imminent changes to the Google Cloud we had to release an early version of GocycleConnect in order for it to remain functional. We are aware that there is some features missing and it is not running as smoothly as we expect it to.

Over the last few weeks we have carried out a number of improvements and fixes and our latest update (9.2) also included a return of the Live Dash feature.

If you are continuing to experience issues registering or logging into the new version of the app, please contact our Customer Support via the below link and advising your frame number and email address and they will be able to remotely troubleshoot this for you.

Rest assured, restoring all functionality to the app remains our top priority and we have a series of further updates and fixes that are expected to be deployed across the coming weeks which will resolve any bugs and enhance the experience and improve the range of features.

Poor customer service & overly complicated technology

The bike itself is very nice. However, you can only use the bike while having the app open. That wouldn't be a huge problem, if you were the only rider. My husband and I share the bike, so when we switch riders, we both encounter major issues with getting our apps connected to the bike. There is no customer service where you can speak to a person. All issues are dealt with through email. Trying to solve an issue can result in multiple emails back and forth as well as long delays. The bike did not come with any kind of manual. But rather, you are given a bunch of QR codes that redirect you to YouTube videos with basic information. Those videos often don't address the problem you are trying to solve. For $5G I would expect way better customer service, as well as a written manual.

As passionate owners and riders, you will both appreciate the quality of engineering, finesse and attention to detail which has gone into creating your Gocycles. We aim to deliver this high standard across all our products and services but regretfully the initial version of our new app has fallen short of this.

Unfortunately, we were compelled to release it early due to imminent changes to the Google Cloud which were entirely out of our control and are acutely aware this premature deployment had some features missing and did not run as smoothly as it should have. This has resulted in some of you experiencing complications with connectivity and like yourselves we are incredibly frustrated.

For several months and especially since the launch, GocycleConnect has been our top priority and we have been working to fix, refine and enhance it. Our development team have carried out a wide range of updates in the background which have improved stability and future proofed against subsequent issues. Numerous bugs have been fixed around connectivity of certain models and improved handling of the Gocycle being turned off.

In addition to this, our Customer Support team have successfully been able to troubleshoot each connectivity request that has been sent to us and we encourage you to reach out to us if you are still experiencing issues. If you have an open ticket which still requires support please advise the ticket number and we will have it escalated to a senior support team member today.

The Live Dash is an extremely popular feature which has notably been missing but I am pleased to confirm this has been redeveloped for GocycleConnect and is in the final stage of testing before deployment.

We are conscientious of unforeseen complications arising from early releases and to avoid disappointment want ensure it works as expected before putting it live, which we aim to do by the end of this month.

As a commuter in South of Sweden (bike + train), I have been riding my Gocycle 8 months and passed 1000km. I like this bike every day more. It is sharp, comfortable, efficient and playful in every details. A great piece of technology without the tech burden. Thumbs up to Gocycle team.

A good bike severely ruined by an appalling app.

The G4i cycle is quite nice and until the recent app update was good to use.

However, post app update I dislike using the bike.

I recommend to any potential purchasers that you read reviews of the app on google or apple app stores. You will be dismayed, as I certainly am now. I now wish I had purchased a different bike, and I'm also going to see if there is a case to get a full refund, maybe through the courts, on the basis that the cycle is not as originally advertised.

Im Moment Totalausfall!

Im Moment Totalausfall!
Die Räder als solches sind super und verdienen 4 bis 5 Sterne.
Allerdings ist die neue App offensichtlich noch in der Entwicklung und funktioniert nicht. Die alte App ist nicht mehr verfügbar.
Es kann doch nicht angehen, dass man ein Rad für 5.000,00 Euro nicht nutzen kann, weil mit einer neuen App experimentiert wird.
Insofern ist im Moment sogar 1 Stern zuviel.

A frustrating app update experience

A frustrating app update experience - multiple attempts to connect. Contacted support and they advised me what to do (I'd done it a few times already but this time it worked). Still a lot of functionality missing from the app - shame it couldn't have been released when it was ready.

The bike (G4) remains great.

customer service issue then resolved

Have waited for delivery of a Gocycle G4 for over 2 months. It finally arrived yesterday and it looks great - but I can’t actually use it because it won’t connect with the app (I see they’ve just updated the app and there are reports of glitches). Emailed customer support but no reply. No phone number. If I don’t hear back within 48 hours I’ll be sure to return it and buy a bike from a company where there’s proper customer support. Thanks for your reply - I don’t think it would be very good security to post my frame number on a public website! If you’d like to contact me today by email mrdwise (gmail address) I will provide you with the frame number (alternatively you will find it on the message I sent to your tech support team on Friday (which hasn’t been replied to). Thanks

11/3 - pleased to report that Gocycle got in touch with me directly in response to this review and resolved the issue (which was caused by different email addresses being used on their app and on the bike shop registering the bike with Gocycle). The bike is now working and seems great.

I bought my GoCycle after seeing how…

I bought my GoCycle after seeing how much my friend loved hers. Right from the start the owner, Tony, and his team were there explaining the features of the bike and demonstrating how easy it was to ride and manage. I was especticlally interested in a foldable electric bike and this one is easy to get in and out of my SUV. I look forward to many years of riding my GoCycle and knowing that I have a friendly, experienced team there for service and any additional questions I may have about my new bike.

Buyer Beware!

Buyer Beware!

While the Gocycle's design might be appealing, my experience with their customer service and service team has been an absolute nightmare.

Here's why I wouldn't recommend them:

Recurring issues: My bike kept shutting off randomly, a major safety concern and pointless to pay for an electric bike that doesn’t work.
Ineffective repairs: After five repair attempts, the issue persisted, and they even messed up the gears in the process, and every time I sent it in, some screws or parts were missing.

Questionable practices: I suspect unnecessary parts were replaced to inflate repair costs.
Unhelpful customer service:
The service team seemed unqualified to handle the problem.
They couldn't provide a direct line to corporate, only a seemingly fake email address.
For the premium price tag, Gocycle's service falls far short of expectations. You're better off choosing a brand with readily available local repair shops, saving yourself the frustration and hassle I went through.

Since you have no way to contact anyone by phone … don’t waist your money on Gocycle, until they fix their support and mechanical team. You just don’t get what you pay for.

I absolutely adore my bike. The customer service from Gocycle has been excellent, from getting in contact with the team, to receiving the delivery, I wouldn't hesitate at all in recommending their products to anyone! Great job guys

Fast and good customer experience

Fast and good customer experience

I received my bike within a few days. The customer service team were also fast to responding to a query around the availability of an accessory and giving an estimate around when to expect things but while managing expectations.

Poor Customer Service

I had my bicycle Gocycle Gx for 3 years, It is a nice bicycle but it's very expensive to repair the motor and difficult to do any significant repair. The bicycle is also not very durable. I had my motor serviced twice so far and each time I had them fix the motor it took months for them to complete the work. Customer service can't help provide evidence for insurance claims.

We are dissappointed to learn about your experience with your G3. Whilst we endeavour to turn around repairs within 14 working days from receipt of your Gocycle at our service centre, if there is a diagnostic work required this can take time to recreate the issue, triage it and repair it.

We are also concerned that you were not provided sufficient information to support your insurance claim. We have a thorough workshop procedure and document all aspects of the work conducted, including images of your Gocycle on inbound and outbound. We have detailed files on all bikes we have worked on and can provide ample information relating to an insurance claim.
