I had my driving licence revoked in 2020 which i thought was unfair, i had been fighting against the DVLA to get my licence back for 3 years, i was getting nowhere on my own, feeling down and depressed with it all, i contacted Gorvins Solicitors, i spoke to Amanda Mcintosh, she was very clear and proffesional and explained every detail to me regarding my right to appeal to the courts, Amanda wrote a chronology for me to produce to the court, without this i wouldn't of had the outcome i've had, within 2 weeks of Amanda helping me i've been issued back my licence. Thank you Amanda for all your help, i highly recommend Gorvins Solicitors.

I have an unseen disability and felt that I was discriminated against at work I did everything correct and did not breach any law or policy. The way I was treated by my employer made me feel very depressed and extremely anxious and I do not cope very well with any type of conflict.

I really needed some legal advice; I was becoming overwhelmed and needed someone just to take over and understand that I needed to feel safe and not judged.

I have no legal experience and I have never been in this position before or have I ever used a legal service.

I got a positive outcome for injury to feeling and have no regrets paying for the service, I will never forget the feeling of justice!

We recently completed a long and stressful sale of our business. Well it could have been stressful- but with Gorvins ( and in particular Gemma Lingard) we slid through it with ease. That included the buyer changing Solicitor so Gemma had to almost go through the whole process again!
The whole process was professional, with Gemma at the end of the phone, or on an email within minutes of any transaction from the other Solicitors, or myself.
When you have experienced knowledgeable people dealing with your case, and you are treated as if you are the only client who matters, you know you have found a great company.
I have used Gorvins for many years, for commercial, residential and family matters, but never for Commercial sale. Gorvins acted on the purchase of the business sold 30 years ago. Longevity and stability are very undervalued these days, but are important.
Would I recommend them. Yes 100%

Our Conveyancer Kerry went above and beyond to make our purchase as hassle free as possible, hardly had to ask about anything as everything was explained beforehand, paperwork was all done within first couple of days and all could be done through really handy app, that really helped as we didn't have to print and post documents, especially with all the issues that Royal Mail was having in December / January.

Even though our transaction was delayed due to Mortgage Broker mistake Kerry did everything to extend deadlines and communicated with both agents and sellers.

Couldn't be happier with the service we got. Highly recommend Gorvins as the service is really spot on.

I recently acquired the services of Gorvins solicitors (through recommendation from friends) to help with negotiations on my redundancy settlement agreement. Solicitor David Rogers was my representative.
David was excellent all throughout the negotiation process, providing me with the right guidance and intel to make the correct decisions. The negotiations were challenging as my employers were based in Belgium but David dealt with the communications professionally in a concise and clear manner with solid evidence to back up the case. He was very attentive to detail and illustrated that he could adapt easily to negotiations with employers of differing work culture, language and employment law understanding.
I was able to build a trusting relationship with David right from the start. He is very approachable, explained things in detail, gave you space to think about his suggestions and always got back to me in a timely manner.
I would highly recommend David to any future client.

I used their services to buy a house. The exchange of contracts was in September 2020 and to this day the case is not finished. We still don't appear in the land registry as the owners of the house. I wrote several emails to them and finally they stopped replying to me. I advise you to stay away from them.

We had a slightly rocky start with Gorvins at the beginning, then we ended up with Maisie as our case worker. I cannot recommend her enough. Maisie's professionalism, empathy and determination to help us while dealing with our buyers awful solictors and on going complications is something to be admired. She even had to deal with me crying down the phone at one point. I would recommend Maisie to anyone, she really pulled through for us and i'll be forever grateful.

I have recently completed my second sale and purchase with Kerry at Gorvins. I cannot fault the service and communication with Kerry and the team. Kerry is diligent and timely with her correspondence and no query was too little to deal with. I would thoroughly recommend Kerry for anyone looking for an outstanding solicitor!
