I'm trying to get hold of someone so I can have an update on an issue that I thought had been resolved.

I have tried to call the office but it just goes through to the answerphone. I've also sent a few emails and no response.

Would appreciate an email or phone call.

Shocking four years of nothing wasted time stay away they lead you to believe everything is ok they ran my case incorrectly quite rude and incompetent ran high costs of 25 k that didn’t need running up… if you have an injury/accident stay away from this company there’s much better out there. Don’t be fooled by no win no fee

I was recommended to Gorvins by a Cancer support charity after receiving really poor treatment from my employer during my Cancer illness. There were a number of significant errors through the process and they were very slow at responding at times. Ultimately, mainly thanks to a fantastic Barrister from elsewhere I won the tribunal case. Errors followed and they allowed employer to kick the can down the road consistently. I was prepared to live with the errors and change of case manager without even being advised or the second time at very late notice, but when it came to fees they have left me feeling physically sick. Once the employer paid, their responsiveness changed and became very keen to get everything resolved and despite some lip service about how they had every sympathy for me, they proceeded to pretty much take the entire damages payment from me and completely ignored my complaints and despite me being promised that wouldn't happen. At the end of the day I won, but as somebody who now works in Cancer patient support, this should be a case being shouted from the roof tops but Gorvins have left a sour taste in my mouth and I will never recommend them to other patients.

Referred to from a top online estate agent as a preferred conveyancer to deal with the sale and purchase of a new property. Not only did we have 4 different case managers, had to fill out the paper for the sale and purchase on 2 different occasions, they managed to mix up on multiple occasions, the names and addresses on paperwork, then to be told 4/5 weeks into the case there is a conflict of interest and they were unable to proceed with us.

My seller is currently using this company and in the last day or so has received paperwork for the purchase of his property and again has all the wrong buyers details on and if that wasn't enough they are currently with-holding funds that are mine. Currently 4 weeks in, close to double figures in phone calls, 2 emails and 4 different people having answered my query it's still unresolved. I'm just in the process of referring this company to the ombudsman for poor practice and with-holding payments.

Genuinely if you want a capable surveyor then these guys are not the ones!

Abysmal. I am a mortgage broker having worked with them for a year. They don't respond to clients, ignore other solicitors, don't reply to mortgage brokers and withdraw from acting a few days before completion after someone makes a complaint about their poor customer service.
Avoid at all costs.

Response to the reply from Gorvins, the firm I have reviewed are at the same address, so it stands.

What an utter shambles. Avoid!!
In a nutshell so many mistakes were made by Gorvins. Our case was then passed to a senior solicitor who said she "wanted to turn things around" and agreed with all the mistakes that Gorvins had made. The senior solicitor took over the case and the first document she posted to us had the same mistakes on it. So...... I told her enough was enough and we would no longer be using Gorvins. She didn't even have the decency to reply or acknowledge my email. Jokers! Would NOT recommend at all.

I used Gorvins to purchase my first property and was impressed by how well they communicated and made the process very easy to understand and manage. Meg was fantastic in supporting us, great communication, patience and excellent customer service. I would recommend and would definitely use them again.
