I walked into the shop in Malmesbury and asked if anyone would mind tightening my glasses as they slipped. Had a very helpful gentleman who happily did this even though I hadn’t got my glasses from them. Thank you.

Excellent service throughout the appointment. No change in optical prescription, so no new lenses needed.

Haine and Smith have always been great for my family and today was no exception. What i thought would be an impossible task was done in 10 mins. Having broken my glasses on day 2 of my holiday, i tried another well known opticians who said my glasses were irreparable, hayne and smith fixed them for me. Eye test booked inside the week too although could have been next day, if I had been free. All in all a five star performance today. Thank you Haine and Smith.

I wandered in without an appointment to get my glasses fixed.
One arm was bent - looked like the dog had sat in it.
Within 5 minutes they were as good as new. No charge.

Popped into the shop with a damaged pair of glassses on the off chance that they would be able to replace the missing screw in the arm. Not only did they replace the screw but adjusted the hinge. All done within a few minutes.

I'd like say a big thank you to Kish from the Royal Wootton Bassett branch. My two children both had eye tests with him today and he was incredible with both of them.
My Daughter has complained of blurry vision for a few years but nothing was ever identified previously. Kish took such good care with her and was meticulous. He identified the problem and prescribed a pair of glasses. My Daughter felt seen and heard by Kish. He made her feel comfortable and asked her the questions, not me, he showed her so much care and respect, regardless of her age. This meant a lot to her and made her feel empowered.
My little boy was full of energy and Kish included him when he was checking my Daughter and then was relating to him during his own eye test, comparing his eye sight to super heroes. My children had the best time and were made to feel so welcome by Kish, but also by the other members of the team.
Kish is a caring, thorough, compassionate and highly competent Optician and H&S RWB are incredibly lucky to have him. Please hold on to him, he is excellent and deserves to be recognised. He is the cream of the crop. Thank you so much Kish 🙂

Local staff member excellent (5Star) but latest pricing not serious/credible. Last lenses purchased in July 2023 were £600. Have just been quoted £900!! Smells of greed somewhere down the supply line.......

Lovely service from the staff. Great selection of frames and efficient timing for collection.

I wandered in on an off chance today that Haine & Smiths would repair my broken glasses - the nose rest had been dislodged and screws lost. Lucy happily accepted the challenge and a few minutes later, all fixed with wonderful smiles and service! Thanks so much, Lucy!

The friendliness of the staff is very reassuring, always willing to listen to any concerns that people may have, in response the advice and help is extremely well delivered. I highly recommend Haine and Smith for anyone seeking eye sight guidance.

My whole experience with this company was excellent. The staff were attentive and helpful when giving advice on my choice of frames and lenses. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I can highly recommend them.

Had eye exams for the family at the Faringdon branch. Was easy to schedule and the staff was very nice. They did a bunch of assessments such as a photo, looking at shape with the air burst, reading letters, colours, 3D, etc. They were very patient with little kids also. Recommend this branch.

Had a fantastic experience in Chippenham Haine & Smith getting lenses fitted in my new sunglasses. The opticial advisor was incredibly knowledgeable and handled my sunglasses frame and the lenses with care. Both of the ladies were very thorough and didn't push for unnecessary sales. Excellent customer service. Thank you
