Professional and caring
The team at Heart of England gave us, as a family a professional, sensitive, kind and caring service regarding the funeral service for my beloved mum. Nothing was too much trouble and any calls made to them for help or advice were always returned quickly if they were busy at the time.
They guided us through the process and kept us informed throughout. From start to finish everything was dealt with in a professional and courteous manner.
Amy was the main person dealing with our requirements and she was kind, courteous and sensitive but in her absence, Leah was exactly the same dealing with us in the same caring way. Paula was lovely too in guiding us through what we needed to do on the day of the funeral. Paula and her team showed my mum and the family respectfullness and professionalism.
The whole team's help and guidance was very much valued and appreciated.

Staff made a very difficult time more bearable
Staff made a very difficult time bearable. Sorry it's taken so long to write my review, I have been poorly with bereavement issues, also in hospital with tummy issues. I can't recommend you enough, you treat people with compassion even if the family has issues.

All of the Co op funeral staff were very professional in service,advice, care,etc the celebrant they provided Emily lowther was fantastic she listened to everything we discussed and gave a really good and honest portrayal of mum's life. Thank you all ,special thanks to Emily.

I had to arrange my Husbands Funeral, which was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. The Heart of England funeral Service in Nuneaton made it so much easier, with their care and compassion.
The Cremation couldn't have gone any better, giving my Husband the send off he deserved, and the respect they showed to all of my Family was so heart warming.

Sensitive and professional
I have used HOE in Daventry for both my Mum and Dad's funeral. I cannot fault them - Michelle and Kim are a delight and make the whole process a little bit easier with their professionalism, sensitivity and empathy. Behind the scenes I am sure there are lots of other people who deserve recognition too, including the two lovely ladies who came to collect Mum and treated her with dignity. I really can't give them enough stars...five doesn't seem enough. I wouldn't trust anyone else. Very highly recommend.

Ryan the funeral director was amazing nothing was to much trouble the girls in there to were brill was so pleased they handled mums funeral and after care lovely was so pleased with them and the dignity care was 10 out 10 thanks again for everything yvonne and dave

It would be impossible to overstate just how seamless, straightforward kind and caring, at what was a very difficult time for us as a family, the whole process was. Excellent care and compassion
would like to express my sincere gratitude to Co-op Funeralcare in Rugby, Warwickshire following the sudden passing of my wife on 17th March 2026.
Myself and my three adult children were completely devastated and unsure of what to do next. From the moment I contacted Co-op Funeralcare and arranged a meeting with Jordan Shilton, we were met with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care.
When we arrived at the funeral home, Jordan took the time to guide us through every step of the process in clear and thoughtful detail. His calm and understanding approach immediately helped us feel more at ease during an incredibly difficult time.
In the weeks that followed, Jordan remained in regular contact with both myself and my eldest daughter, whether by phone or email when we didn’t feel up to talking,
His support and reassurance made a huge difference to us all.
We truly believe that Jordan went above and beyond in his duty of care. He helped us feel supported, understood, and better able to face the challenges ahead. His colleague Emma was also wonderful, offering kindness and support throughout.
At such a heartbreaking time for our family, we are deeply grateful for the care and dedication shown by both Jordan and Emma. I would not hesitate to recommend Co-op Funeralcare to anyone in need of their services.

Mismanagement
Used in 2023 in Earl Shilton, later found that the company employed a crook stealing money, same time were not managing the funeral details fully with mismanagement of relaying changes to the burial plot. When queried when burying another relative 2yrs on to find the original burial was not to the expected depth and the coop were made aware to manage the family and did not is extremely poor...avoid this place and use G Sellers of Hinckley, professional and the right level of support and management end to end.

I am very sorry that you feel we have let you and your family down.
From our understanding, the issues relating to the grave plot sit with the cemetery and their appointed gravedigger, rather than the instructions we provided. In relation to the required changes to the plot location, we did communicate these to you at the time. We will, of course, continue to liaise with the cemetery following your recent contact with us.
You are correct that we unfortunately experienced an issue involving a former colleague who acted dishonestly. We took this matter very seriously, involving the police and contacting anyone who may have been affected to ensure that appropriate steps were taken to put things right. I am not aware that you were impacted by this situation.
I would be very happy to speak with you personally to discuss your concerns further. Please let me know if you would like me to arrange this.

Kind, respectful and understanding also most all took their time with us never rushed us at any point in time explained everything including everyone that was involved and we really appreciated that they were so thoughtful in doing everything we ever asked of them for so thankyou.

Dealing with Jo and Joy in Hinckley was a real help to us!
Dealing with Jo and Joy in Hinckley took a lot of the stress and pain out of a particularly bad year for us.
We had to use Heart of England Coop twice last year and was really glad that they were there!

Highly recommended your service
Excellent service from beginning to end. Gave us plenty of time, nothing was to much trouble. We visited several times, each time compassion showed the whole process was filled with dignity and compassion which greatly help during a extremely difficult time for our family.
