I recently completed my HGV training with HGVLearning and had a very positive experience throughout.

A special thanks to Piotr Ciosek, who was extremely helpful in organising both my training and test. Despite a small mishap along the way, he handled everything efficiently and ensured the process continued smoothly.

I’d also like to mention that the whole team has been amazing supportive, professional, and helpful at every stage.

Thanks to the support and guidance I received, I’m pleased to say that I passed my HGV driving test. I would happily recommend HGVLearning to anyone looking to start their HGV journey.

I had a very lovely experience with HGV Learning while I was working with them to get my licence. From the beginning to the end, the whole process was smooth, professional and well organised.

Special mention to Piotr Ciosek and the entire team for being supportive and giving listening hears. I will always recommend them to anyone considering to get their HGV licence. Thank you once again.

My first contact was with Joe and from the outset he was helpful, pleasant and positive. He set me up with all the digital training aids that I needed. I spent a number of weeks getting up to speed. They asked if I was happy to travel for the exams and promptly found an opening a week later in Swindon. The practical driving exam wasn't for a few weeks, due to the high demand, so managed to get my CPC done and my digital tachograph card ordered. After a few hick ups with my reversing, my fault not theirs, a change in technique gave me a pass and shortly after I passed my driving exam. Now qualified, I contacted Joe again, helpful as always, he passed my details over to a colleague, Peter, who is in the process of assisting me with a remodelled CV and putting me in contact with prospective employers. There are cheaper ways to get an HGV license but a lot more stress researching and understanding all the elements needed to pass the exams and become a qualified driver. Definitely recommend these guys, for me a stress free process and they were always on the end of the phone if I had any questions.

I enrolled with HGV Learning 2024 for a 12-month HGV training package valued at £2,200. From the start, I have consistently paid all my subscription fees as agreed. However, my experience has been extremely disappointing and far from what was promised.

Despite paying for a full training program, I received only one or two phone calls to check my knowledge, with no real guidance on key study areas or structured support. When I emailed for additional knowledge checks or clarification, I received no response. To make matters worse, my study materials expired without warning, locking me out of the learning portal until I publicly posted a review. Only then did the company promise to assist—but this assistance never materialised.

I specifically requested help booking my theory test for March, but nothing was done. When I called the office to speak to the person responsible for bookings, I was told she was unavailable and would call me back—but no one ever did.

The company has also taken more money than agreed in the subscription plan. Once I noticed the overcharge, I had to stop the direct debit to prevent further unauthorised payments.

At this point, I feel misled and believe the company is using delay tactics to avoid delivering the service I paid for. I no longer trust HGV Learning to fulfil their promises . What was supposed to be professional training has turned into a frustrating and costly ordeal.

Good overall experience. I came in with no experience beyond driving a van and was able to get help and support when needed.

The only downside was the lesson structure. I was booked for 16 hours Class 2 and 16 hours Class 1, but as a beginner this didn’t feel effective since the driving styles are very different. Luckily, my trainer adjusted this so I only did one day in Class 2 and focused more on Class 1, which made a big difference and helped me pass first time.

Course structure could definitely be improved for beginners going straight to Class 1. As the tests are scheduled on separate days within the second week, it doesn’t allow enough time to build experience and confidence in Class 1 before being tested

Absolutley discusting service from start to finish would not reccommed using these ever if i could start again and know then what i know now i would stay away

The best there is! They have a great customer service, always helpful and especially quick. The best part is they can work around your schedule and create a plan to best suit your interests. 10/10 experience, will recommend it to everyone!

I had a great experience with HGV Learning while getting my CE truck licence. From start to finish, their support was outstanding.

One of the biggest advantages for me was the option to pay in instalments, which made the whole process much more manageable financially. Their follow-up was very consistent, and they were always available whenever I had questions or needed assistance. Communication was clear and professional throughout.

I share my thoughts as a learner which during the time I went through for passing my tests to get my certificates was incredibly helpful. I face with Experience people and excellent management system. They give me on time advices, and the material for passing tests (on road and of-road) that the company provided me was very helpful. Its worth mentioning that, the driving instructor was fully professional with friendly manner.

Great instructors and great support throughout.
I was taught very thoroughly and always to full DVSA standard. My main instructor H was great and made learning easy. I only had Darren for one day, but in those 5 hours he added a lot more information and useful tips.

I passed my test with 0 minors.

Overall a great experience and I’d definitely recommend HGV Learning.

Joe Kindle best traine in the country

Over charge £3399 when lessons and test only cost £1399 and most is £2600 and your promise assistance to help find employment once you've passed which I've had no support in finding a job since passing

It was very easy and very simple thanks to Joe Kindle who helped me guide through every step. If i was in doubt he was always there to answer the phone and help with whatever i needed. One of the best experience i ever had. He and his team did everything possible to get me on the road as quick and as successfully possible, thanks to him I passed all my exams for the first time without fail.
I can only recommend them.

I had a great experience! The truck training was clear, practical, and very well delivered. The instructor explained everything thoroughly and made sure I felt confident before moving on.
