I would rate Honeywell a zero if possible. They have the most horrible customer service of any company that I know. Been on hold for 3 hrs & 4 hr for a live chat. Magically the live chat person goes away after says they can help. I finally said to heck with it & bought another brand thermostat & can honestly say I will NEVER own an Honeywell product. Only had this because it came with the new house. Horrible horrible horrible company!!!

No communication, waited for hours on the phone and tried it a couple of times during the day no one picks up, no reply to my emails. Don't even think about buying a product of Honeywell. Unfortunately can't get a negative review, it would be -5 stars.
Waardeloze service Honeywell Chronotherm
Ik heb vijf jaar terug een Chronotherm thermostaat gekocht. Die stel je in en dan werkt het jaar in jaar uit goed, denk je. Forget it! Er zit een aantal knopjes op en één daarvan (om de temperatuur naar boven bij te stellen) is - als je op internet in de verschillende fora kijkt - wel erg snel kapot. Terwijl je de knop vrijwel niet gebruikt. Het verschijnsel is ook bekend bij de installateur. Een terugroepactie waard, zou ik zeggen. Maar blijkbaar niet voor Honeywell, want mijn mailtje met uitleg van het probleem en verzoek om support leverde de volgende reactie op: "Honeywell Home heeft helaas geen reparatiedienst. Standaard garantie op alle Honeywell Home producten is 24 maanden. Met vriendelijke groet, Rene Consumer Channel Resideo". Zoek het maar uit dus. Waardeloze service van een fabrikant die kwaliteit zegt te leveren. Ik zoek met de installateur wel naar een beter product.

Thermostaten van slechte kwaliteit
Mijn vrij nieuwe thermostaat (<2jr) van Honeywell heeft een defect scherm. Dit is overigens voor mij niet de 1e keer. Hetzelfde euvel had ik al is met een andere thermostaat van Honeywell, dit werd echter na wat aandringen toch goed en vriendelijk opgelost. Klantenservice geeft nu niet thuis, die verwijst door naar de installateur. Deze is echter niet meer actief.. dus kastje naar de muur verhaal. Kortom, kies liever een ander merk.

Have been a loyal customer with these guys for over 40 years. No value to them for customer loyalty. Need to find another company.

I called honeywell support today forâŠ
I called honeywell support today for help setting up an evohome. I basically just needed to be told how to pair/bind the controller to the relay. A guy called David took the call. David refused to tell me how to do it and kept telling me that I should be trained. I asked to speak to his manager and he refused. I asked to speak with someone else and he refused. I was saying to him that I just need basic setup information and he then told me that I was apparently interuping him and he will end the call if I do it again. I asked if I was a homeowner looking for this advise what would he say. At this point he hung up the phone. The evohome seems to be as bad a system as their customer service. ** As an update, after figuring it out myself, all David had to tell me was to hold down the settings button to enter installer mode. He is so rude and so bad at his job. I really regret installing this for my customer as after only two weeks I'm back re binding the boiler relay because it mysteriously unpaired leaving the family in the cold. There is a cheap feel to all of the components and I would be amazed if the system lasts.

Dit op zijn advies aangepast (Intergas 28/24 - 2009 - poort 11 en 12 OT) en werkte meteen.

I bought a open box water leak detector from amazon, was trying to set it up but the app told me itâs registered to another user and need to contact support.
I reached out to support and they told me because itâs a âsecurity deviceâ, I have to wait at-least 3 days for them to release it. I asked is it the same for a thermostat and they said no, a thermostat can be released right away.
I said thatâs really stupid how they categorize their devices. I asked to be transferred to a manager and even the manager is useless. Kept going back to the same process process process. I said just because a process is made doesnât mean it canât be changed and itâs not always perfect. It needs to be changed because of age and need.
He (Alejandro) blew me off and gave me the generic reply.
In the end I boxed it up and return it to amazon. Got an dlink water leak detector instead for cheaper. Bye bye Honeywell. I do not and will not recommend this brand to anyone.

Had a Honeywell system for our W-installation installed some years ago. if it works it works but once things are getting a problem you are really deep in the mud. Support sucks if at all support. and its unbelievably expensive, hourly rates of 150euro or more because there is always a software specialist needed to see whats wrong, spare parts are more then 200% of original purchasing price. Legacy support is something they have not heard ABOUT AT ALL. If parts fail that are no longer sold by them you are confounded to second hand market.

Bought a honeywell smart thermostat. Had an issue and the install guide said to call the support number for help with this situation. Working from home so no problem. Dialed in on hold while working. After 2 HOURS decided to put everything back in the box and return it. Bought a Nest. I wont buy any honeywell garbage again.

Teleurstellend product en service
Zeer teleurstellend product en service. Onze stadsverwarming-regelset Y-VC8015AG1100 maakte vanaf het begin steeds meer geluid bij het inschakelen en begaf het uiteindelijk net ná de 2 jaar garantie. Aan het eind maakte hij dusdanig veel herrie dat wij er wakker van werden (ratelend/knallend geluid). Weer een nieuwe moeten kopen, maar die maakte gelijk weer zo'n raar geluid. Honeywell gaf aan dat het aan onze vervuilde stadsverwarming zou liggen. Bij demontage van de klep bleek deze echter brandschoon en gemakkelijk met de hand te bedienen. Toch maakte de motor telkens het nare geluid. Bij demontage van de oude motor van de Honeywell-klep bleek er binnenin een stuk afgebroken te zijn, waardoor de motor niet goed zijn werk kon doen. Het hele bewegingsmechanisme van deze motor om de klep te openen blijkt erg slecht geconstrueerd. Veel te zwak en te veel speling. Vandaar dat de nieuwe motor hetzelfde geluid al weer maakt en dus ook geen lang leven beschoren is. Honeywell verschuift het probleem naar de installateur (ikzelf dus) en laat ons aan ons lot over.

My family bought a portable Honeywell Dehumidifier 70 pint for use in the basement of our lake house in 2015. The Honeywell Store Customer Service was always available to us through their 800# for any question we had with setup or maintenance. Recently, the Dehumidifier stopped working. We called Customer Service and submitted our complaint and purchase documentation. Honeywell has replaced our unit with a new 70 pint unit. There was no hassle or unreasonable requests from Customer Service. They were prompt, giving email updates and follow through shipping. My family is more than pleased and highly recommend doing business with the Honeywell Store.

I have been calling Honeywell and Resideo Company for over two weeks unable to reach them.I tried all the companies phone number left messages,never got call back till today.I have mftr warranty for 60 months for the product HZ221 TrueZone Thermostat for 2zone used for A.C.I called builder new built in 2016 and called certified A.C guy from reputed co.I was told under the warranty send it back to the co.I send so many emails so far no reply requesting them to please have somebody call back as we have senior citizens family at home.Without A.C over two weeks.I hope this message reaches to the Management people to trained their employees and assist customers in solving problems.I had to order parts from online and pay out of pocket expenses cost me $150.00.
