The team at IMS have done a great job selling and letting a property for us. Lynsey was great at the viewings and what’s fantastic is they keep track of viewing requests at all times of the day and weekend so you can’t ask for anything more than that as it keeps everything moving and gets those viewings booked in at your property over and above others hopefully! Lynsey was also fab at finding tenants and took all the hard work out of it. Sarah is amazing at ensuring as a landlord we had everything in place we needed to let the property legally and properly. Peace of mind for us as first time landlords and the tenant. Her knowledge is second to none. You are in safe hands with IMS and we will definitely sell and let more properties through them seem as they made it so easy for us!

When letting my property through IMS, I have been so impressed with the service. The communication is prompt and easy. All of staff are on the ball and good to deal with. Very professional. The mortgage service is top drawer as well.

I use IMS for all my property requirements. If you want first class service this is the company. They have recently let one of my properties and sold my other. I literally left it all in their hands and they took away all the stress. As a professional with a partner who is self employed we weren’t the average client and probably were more of a challenge but they handled our case with ease. Highly recommended,

Openly declared a DMP out of courtesy prior to a viewing - this would not show up on any public register nor on any credit search later agreed, and asked if a lower credit score as a result would have an impact on potential tenancy agreements.

Staff claimed to have spoken to the landlord within 5 minutes of my call claiming firstly that 'this would invalidate the landlord's mortgage agreement', and they'd be cancelling the viewing. I politely pointed out I'd never seen or heard of any mortgage agreement with a clause that states anything about a debt management plan, nor is the landlord's mortgage agreement relevant to prospective tenants.

They replied within 5 minutes that 'the landlord would not accept anyone with CCJ's'. I clarified again I had no adverse credit history and certainly not CCJ's, and that this was an informal contract between myself and my creditors - it was at my discretion to disclose this. Again, within minutes, they claimed to have spoken to the landlord and replied 'they would not accept anyone with adverse credit history or a debt management plan'.

That's about all I need to hear, bullet dodged. Top notch letting agency. Listen to the negative reviews and avoid.

Having secured our first mortgage through IMS we thought it's gonna be a good idea to sell through them and get a new mortgage to upgrade. What a let down, the mortgage service was okay, Holly is a good asset to the company and did her best to answer all our queries. But the sale part of it was a huge let down, no comunication after the sale was agreed, just to ask me to chase the solicitors that they recommended in the first place. After the exchange no email of acknowledgement, no comunication on where to leave the keys, absolutely nothing. So unless you are a multi millionaire don't use them as the profit it's all they care about, no customer service whatsoever. Oh and when U left the keys they didn't even bother to ask me who I was!!!!!
I will never use them again and will never recommend them to anyone

We sold our property through IMS and also secured a mortgage offer through then too. Really pleased with the service and was kept well informed at all stages. Thanks to Lynsey, Holly and Emily for helping us!

My experience of getting a mortgage was not straight forward due to issues with my building. Hayley, Jasmin & Michelle all guides me through the process and really where the best help possible. They guided me at every step, kept me in the loop and reassured me- as a first time buyer this was really great to have - even with my added issues they made the process as pain free as possible. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

The service we have received has been absolutely outstanding from the IMS team, especially Hayley she has been an absolute super star through the whole process. Very reliable, l cannot recommend them enough.

Started off well, ended on a poor note.

Reported several issues in the property, some were eventually fixed, others were not and despite raising issues at the beginning of our tenancy, we're now in dispute over our deposit. This could not be resolved directly with IMS and has been transferred to the deposit scheme team. We moved out in September and the dispute is still ongoing.

IMS are the only letting agent to attempt to charge £600 for a pet deposit, and the only letting agent to enforce flea treatment, despite there being no evidence of infestation in the property.

We were vulnerable in the beginning and only had an limited amount of time to find somewhere to live, which is especially hard when you have pets. Needless to say, we didn't read the T&C's as thoroughly as we should have. We assumed they'd be similar to our previous letting agents, however, we were very much mistaken.

IMS only concern is money. They apply unnecessary charges to absolutely everything. They even charge for references - Something I've never encountered. Especially when they're only confirming you live at the address and pay your rent.

Found several members of staff to be unprofessional, usually late to appointments and poorly managed viewings.

Very disappointing and will not use again.

IMS found me a great mortgage deal and then backed this up with fantastic customer service. I was regularly informed of everything that was going on and they did an excellent job of liaising with my accountants, who did everything they could to avoid doing anything at all.

Highly recommended & I will certainly use them in the future.

Tom's work was a key part of the whole process of obtaining my mortgage, his commitment to pull through the mortgage application, which was a tough task is really commendable and greatly appreciated.
