My son joined at the start of this year after getting only a 5 in his year 10 English mock last Summer. With Saffron’s and the rest of the team’s help, he just received a high 7 in his most recent mock and is on track for an 8 this Summer!! I thought even a 6 would be good after last year but with JPW’s guidance it looks like he’s gone a few steps further! Fingers crossed for this Summer.

Paid £300 for this tutoring scheme. They claimed that they would have efficient personal WhatsApp feedback and would respond relatively quickly, however, my daughter sent the tutor questions on science on Friday and it has been 5 days and no reply whatsoever since. Utterly ridiculous, and this is one of the many things my daughter asked on WhatsApp which they claimed would answer would detail. In English, the teacher would spend the first half of the lesson explaining the exact same thing for all of the lessons in a week, leaving only one half or less of the lesson for other things. In Science, the teacher wend through past papers and most of them are repeated and only one markers which was not helpful at all. Wish that what they claimed was true but it wasn’t, so don’t WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, it’s not worth it!! And I would like a refund too!!

They go over skills that teachers don’t normally teach at school, such as summarising

JPW tutors have great personal support, unlike many other tutor programs. They offer great, in-depth individual feedback, helping me improve my English at a fast pace. The cost is fair and they often give offers for loyal members. Lessons are frequent and online, making it quick and easy to access the lesson. I would definitely recommend it to anyone studying GCSE English literature and language.

JPW Academy has awesome feedback skills and great resources to use. Homework feedback is given very quickly and is extremely detailed and clear which is helpful since it is assists students when completing future homework tasks. Also, in the lessons there are useful mind maps and example paragraphs which are great guides to frame your own paragraphs. Overall I would really recommend these sessions since I have began to see improvement just from a few lessons.

The pattern of teaching with slides and making concept clear to the students is very nicely defined. Also the personalise touch to homework and making the errors clear is well appreciated.

Saffron is very helpful ,friendly and professional. She always spends time after the lesson to give everyone feedback. She is patient and she goes into depth when you done understand

Very helpful for my child, the tutors interact well with students, provide great content and feedback. Would recommend to any parent to give this a try.

I would like to thank Jacob and his team for all their help and support for my son, during his GCSE preparation.

His mock tests results for English language and literature was 5 in February and in a panic we then came across JPW Academy online, for help and support in English, we felt that this was worth pursuing because the exams were not far off.

From the moment my son started with thd learning packages, My son felt the teaching material made more sense for him and slowly things started to click into place for him via feedback from Jacobs and his team.

Results Day - 9 for both English literature and language and further 9s and 8s for the rest of his subjects.

The packages are worth the investment, they have paid off and my son's confidence in English and especially English Literature has grown.

Very dedicated team of tutors with an opportunity for the child to do multiple assignments . Each time a video based feedback is given which allowed my child to not only gain confidence but an opportunity to improve tremendously. My daughter has been taking English excellence sessions for GCSE at JPW since a year. The tutors are highly experienced and I like the way they make each session interactive. It has boosted my daughter’s confidence in writing. Each week she gets a piece of homework that is not just marked but also critiqued by the tutor. This gives my child an opportunity to reflect on her work and make it better each time. I feel that she is being supported extremely well with their tutoring for her GCSEs. Before I enrolled my son in JPW Tutors, he was far behind in progressing towards the grade he wanted. He would frequently inform me that he felt unconfident participating in English lessons and similarly in tests. However, after only a month or two with JPW and we have already seen a vast improvement in his performance, both in class and in exams. Very great Tution! 10/10 , I recommend it to y11 gcse students because they set homework every week and give personal feedback via email.

SCAM: It is simply too good to be true. Very overpriced and not good value! It's not even tutoring rather live lectures where you can only ask questions on the chat. Even if they are answered, the "teaching assistants" don't even know what their talking about, sometimes as if it is AI generated. Although it helped a bit, it's not worth the hundreds of pounds especially because they just go through a text, read it and basically do all the work for you. AVOID

My son is very pleased with both English and science tutoring. He is more focused and confident overall, being better equipped for his upcoming GSCEs. The personal homework feedback is extremely useful each week, knowing where to pick up those extra marks makes such a difference. His English teacher at school can see a significant improvement. We are glad to have found JPW tutoring.
