I learnt a lot and my confidence is definitely high now. The fantastic tutors are very helpful, knowledgeable, always respond to the queries and extra Q/A session definitely adds extra support when I am revising for GCSE exams.

This English tutoring has really helped me with my English work at school when preparing for my exams. I felt I have improved massively in the subject and my confidence in my English class at school has grown. I’ve only had this tutoring for a couple months now online in group classes, and it has made such a difference. I receive helpful feedback once I have completed the homework, and immediate responses to any questions, so I can use it when writing up my answers along with the recorded zoom lessons. I recommend this tutoring to anyone who struggles with English GCSE or wants help revising for it.

My son is a very able student for all subjects apart from English. He was achieving very high estimated grades for his GCSE’s However, for whatever reason he was lagging behind a little in English.

He suggested he would benefit from tutoring, however, the cost of personal tutoring and his busy schedule, it was hard to justify personal tuition.

I came across an advert for JPW courses and signed up for the introductory free zoom workshop which my son assured me was extremely useful.

Although the cost is not cheap, it is at an accessible level and there are different price plans for different budgets.

We opted for the most reasonable silver package, which my son has found to be quite enough and has already moved from a grade 4 to a grade 7 in a couple of months.

We like the flexibility of doing the sessions at home via zoom, which means we can do it wherever we are either at home or visiting family and friends.

I would definitely recommend JPW tutoring as it’s a very professional organisation and my son not only enjoys it but seems to have already benefited from it.

The tutors are highly proficient and give honest credible, helpful feedback.

I loved the tutoring sessions held within groups and I have significantly improved in my GCSE English language skills.

I believe that JPW Tutors is an excellent way to boost your English GCSE grade. I originally struggled with English and found analysing quotations difficult however this is not the case anymore since starting the tutor. When I joined JPW Tutors, the first thing that interested me was the interactive classes. The moment I asked a question it was answered in detail and the lessons were clear and informative. The best part has to be the homework. JPW Tutors give exam-style questions and mark it thoroughly and send you a short video with feedback to use in your next exam practice question attempt. I would definitely recommend JPW Tutors to anyone struggling with their English GCSE. 10/10!

Although JWP is online it is a very personal experience and is completely tailored to your needs. The company are aware if homework is missing and will contact the parent. They make sure the lessons are focused and that’s there’s no other chit chat or distractions. The feedback on homework is amazing with extremely constructive communication for improvement. Enquiries are always answered immediately by email or there is a weekly q&a. I would highly recommend. I can see the improvement and confidence.

Since joining JPW Academy my teacher has grade my work an 8/9, when previously it was a 7. I am on the cheapest version and find it good: the 1 hour lessons are handy but too short in my opinion, the marked homework is very helpful but I would like a modal answer emailed after. Overall the academy has helped me improve my marks and knowledge of the English paper.

I have found this course very informative and I have only had 4 lessons. I like the way when a students asks a question they answer thoroughly. I have a better understanding on how to answer examination questions. I am so glad I have found JPW tutors.

I find it great that we can interact with our tutors and get feedback immediately during the live lessons. It is also helpful to gain extra knowledge from questions asked by other students and I benefit from the answers to those. Very experienced and professional tutors, who teach comprehensive and logical approaches to English, Maths and Science. What I like most is their explanation of how to analyse different texts and to extract the essence from those texts.

My daughter started going the JPW Tutors English excellence course, plus the maths and science. The format and homework with feedback is keeping her motivated and giving tips and that extra input needed at this crucial time with GCSEs around the corner. I’ve listened into several sessions and the tutors are engaging and interactive. A further benefit I could not have foreseen is how the sessions have alleviated her anxiety in the run up to the exams- it feels like they are saying “we got you, it’s ok!”. She’s thriving on the superb tutoring and I highly recommend this method.

I find the course very helpful I managed to go from a grade 3 to a grade 6-7. If you are someone who struggles in English then I would really recommend this course .The teachers are really nice and help you engage in the lesson.Moreover the lessons are often fun and interesting

We have been very pleased with JPW tutoring! My daughter is currently working towards her GCSE’s and so we opted for the Silver level package (Tutoring session one night a week, plus the weekly support class on Sunday morning’s!). Both my daughter’s tutor, in the week and on Sundays, plus the support/admin staff are all very helpful. My daughters grades have already improved and is working hard to improve them further! (A total jump of 3 grades!) The important thing is that our daughter is very happy with the support, guidance and help she is receiving! If you sign up, you also have access to a portal, for reference and also have weekly homework tasks set with feedback for progression!
We would thoroughly recommend JPW tutoring! (There is a Gold level package with more sessions available too!)
Definitely worth it!

We feel very lucky our daughter being currently enrolled on the KS3 English course.
Each week there are three hour long sessions with homework and a super-smart and approachable teacher.
We have uploaded homework and our daughter is looking forward to receiving her constructive feedback. The package of resources provided is in an easy to follow format and we can catch up on previous content that is available set prior to us joining the class. We feel so much letter as we know our daughter will be receiving lots of valuable practice on answering all types of GCSE Language and Literature questions for her forthcoming exams.

My daughter started 2 months ago and she is really enjoying the lessons.
