This was the first time I have keyed a case to Landbay but most certainly not my last. Really liked that after the document submission the underwriter contacted me directly to discuss the case and with the requirements he stipulated I have been able to get the case to offer very quickly. FANTASTIC SERVICE and PLEASURE TO DEAL AS SO EASY

As a broker I use many lenders and I recent used Landbay for the first time and I was very impressed with their willingness to lend and help get the application through. Would definitely use them again and recommend to everyone.

first time using landbay. i selected their AVM product. monday submitted the app, one enquiry email and same day the offer was issued. impressed is an understatement.

Client needed mortgage to pay off his bridging to exit and their AVM and processing timescale really helped to exit and saves money

Extraordinary Collette (underwriter)
I am so pleased we had Collette to be our underwriter on this case.
We had to apply for several offer extensions and unexpected delays with legals and HMO licence.
Collette was superb and put up with the changes and always keen on helping us out.
Offers were extended and rates changed with ease.
I would say without doubt, that having direct access to an underwriter (a great one!) gives us brokers more clarity/transparency during the transaction.

Good experiance dealing with LandBay. Excellent system overall, slightly let down by using BTLhub but overall a smooth process and useful to have direct contact with the underwriters.

Easy to understand application process and good communication during the underwriting.

Application process smooth, had an excellent underwriter in Chris who was clear and transparent in what was required. Even though the lending amount changed during the process, this was conveyed clearly and concisely in a manner which made it easy for us to explain to the clients

Excellent underwriting

We submitted 10 applications for a single site, having been advised to submit a test case which went to offer successfully. We proceeded to submit 9 others, some were accepted by the original valuer and others which were panelled out to an alternative surveyor. We ended up with NO CASES being accepted and the ones that had gone to offer were withdrawn. Received not very honest opinion from the Head of Underwriting, to be honest he did not come across as being honest or upfront and even admitted to an error and then denied there was an error in the process, most importantly a client out of pocket to the tune of £8,000 based on valuation and application fee's (which we were assured we'd get half the application fee's back purely based on the number of cases placed)... still waiting for them to pick up on this ! I would only reluctantly consider placing cases in the future to Landbay, as a last resort type situation as I am really disappointed as to how they have acted. Avoid where you can !

Constant, timely communication was great. Dawn, the underwriter, has been brilliant and my thanks go to her for being available to talk to and responding quickly to any questions or queries I had.

Landbay have been really good in supporting my clients with buy to let mortgages. The BDM Simone Ferreira is always available on the phone or by email, and great service on the phone too!!

We had to abandon the application because due to a delay in the clients getting the latest year's tax calcs from their accountant they passed your deadline for securing the rate and keeping the application going. Your new rates are far less competitive. Other lenders do not have these deadlines and would have honoured the rate we thought we had secured for the client. Now we have to apply with a new lender.
