They handled my house purchase and the service was already delayed, but I still recommended them to others at the time. Big mistake.

Three years later, I discovered they failed to include my solar panels in the TA10 form. Because of this, I cannot transfer the solar panels into my name and I am now facing serious difficulties.

I have tried contacting them multiple times by phone and email, but no solicitor has responded or provided any proper help. Poor aftercare, no accountability, and extremely frustrating to deal with.

I will never use their services again and would not recommend them to anyone.

A superb experience from start to finish. I have worked with many solicitors in the past and stumbled upon Law and Lawyers as a provider on my lender's panel. From first contact with Majo everything has been so clear and efficient. Sonya has dealt with all aspects of our cases with efficiency and clarity and has been extremely responsive to met our completion deadlines. This has included so more complex IFA work, which has been very well executed by some of Sonya's colleagues. I would recommend the firm and Sonya without hesitation.

My experience with Law and Lawyers is a very mixed one, as I tried to sell a poperty twice with them, the first experience being extremely negative due to lack of attention to my case, and dismissive attitudes from individuals such as Jiji Valliarayil . It was only, on my second attempt, when I was assigned Sonya, did I finally manage to sell my property. She was very attentive to my case, with me being over seas it was difficult to communicate effectively, but Sonya did her best to be available around the clock to help me. She was knowledgable and organised with her task, and I am very grateful for her help. Thank you Sonya :)

Terrible Experience with Law and Lawyers Solicitors

I would strongly advise avoiding Law and Lawyers Solicitors. Our purchase should have been straightforward, yet the process dragged on for more than five months because of their constant delays and lack of communication. They rarely answer calls or emails, and even simple paperwork takes an unreasonable amount of time.

The case handlers we dealt with were unprofessional and dismissive. Instead of guiding us through an important milestone in our lives, they made it incredibly stressful and frustrating. When we asked for basic updates or a rough completion date, we were treated with attitude rather than support.

This firm shows no urgency, no transparency, and no respect toward clients. Several others I know have also had similar experiences.

Please save yourself the stress and choose a solicitor that values their clients and their time.

Avoid Law and Lawyers Solicitors

Our home-buying experience with Law and Lawyers Solicitors was extremely disappointing. Although we began the process in early December, our file was only opened at the end of February after repeated follow-ups. They consistently blamed others for delays, yet they failed to answer calls, ignored emails, and responded only at inconvenient times.

Simple tasks took several days, and communication was either unhelpful or completely absent. The staff handling our case, including Princy and Asha, displayed rude and unprofessional behaviour. Asking for updates or a completion timeline was met with arrogance rather than support, which caused avoidable financial and emotional stress.

When we escalated concerns, the senior staff member, Mr. Jiji, behaved in an even more dismissive and disrespectful manner. Instead of assisting their clients, they seemed annoyed by any questions and even attempted to shift blame onto us.

A straightforward process turned into over five months of frustration and anxiety. There was no transparency, accountability, or respect throughout.

Many friends also reported similar negative experiences, so do not rely solely on the positive reviews online.

Strongly recommend avoiding Law and Lawyers Solicitors if you value clear communication, professionalism, and peace of mind.

I had a case starting with Ebrahim and I now believe he isn’t a professional and he wasted my time and charged me and then said you can send the letter your self,
How can a person who calls himself a lawyer, tell you something like ,
Please don’t waist your time with Ebrahim because he wasted so much of my time and after complaining to Mansouri he also took two months to write a letter and later on I had to wait 9 months and they released the other side has replied but Mansouri had failed to inform me and he isn’t not available now and his secretary is the new boss and she failed to continue with my case and ignored my email

We thought of using Law and lawyer based on our previous experience. But this time it was the biggest regret of our lives.
Since day 1 we had issues getting in touch with them and also in getting responses.
In the beginning there was this girl named Aloysia who would answer the phone when I called, with limited information. Every time I called to check before sending any completed documents she had incomplete information.Then there have been many involved with answering phone calls as the point of contact for telephone conversations as you wouldn’t be put through to your case handler. They sometimes disconnect your call without giving you all the required information. Imagine how frustrating it is after waiting in que for so long. No call back either!
We had a case handler named Isshak. Let me mention, you will be in trouble if he is your case handler. He never responds to your queries. Every time we called in and asked for Isshak either it was, he wasn’t in the office, he had a half day that day or he was working from home and he was going to give us a call back which was never happening.
The worst part is that, on our quote we had Bhavini as the case handler for us. But she never looked into our file. We tried to email Bhavini to no responses who seems to be one of their directors. We emailed Francis Matthew (Director) on a few occasions who never bothered to acknowledged any of our emails when requested to connect to to directors we were always told they were working from home and would not be available to take calls. Sadly it took us more time than we expected.
We told them it was getting stressful as we are expecting our first child but no one was actually showing concern.
Ishaak went on leave for personal reasons without informing us that our file was transferred to a different case handler or probably his assistant. It was a nightmare chasing them.
Finally, we had to visit the office where Isshak was as at his desk and over the phone we were told he wasn’t in the office. Such a lie!
It was a terrible time we had with law and lawyers.
Please avoid Law and Lawyers!!If you want to save time and get your things done speedily!!!
They are not reliable at all and make the entire process so much stressful!

Please Avoid – Worst Solicitor Experience Ever

It was our dream to buy a home in the UK, but Law and Lawyers Solicitors made it a complete nightmare. We started the process in December, but they opened our file only in late February. They kept lying, blaming the seller’s solicitor, and never answered calls or emails.

Our case handlers, Princy and especially Asha, were extremely rude and arrogant. Asha’s attitude was terrible — she spoke with no respect and delayed everything on purpose if we asked questions. They also refused to give an approximate completion date, even when we needed to plan rent and EMI, which caused us extra stress and loss.

Simple tasks took 5 days or more, and they always replied Friday evenings before closing, leaving us stuck. Speaking to Mr. Jiji was another bad experience — very arrogant and unhelpful.

It took over 5 months for a simple process, and they made us feel like we were working for them. Please don’t trust the fake positive reviews — many people, including my friends, faced the same.

My honest advice: Avoid Law and Lawyers Solicitors if you want peace of mind and professional service.

We have a smooth journey with law and lawers on buying our new home. They are always approachable .

Absolutely Atrocious – Avoid Law and Lawyers at All Costs

I have never experienced such appallingly poor service in my life. Law and Lawyers, and in particular my case handler Sonya, were completely incompetent from day one. The process was painfully slow, disorganised, and careless to the point where I nearly lost the sale of my property entirely because of their shocking lack of professionalism.

Sonya had no clue what was going on with my case I literally had to write emails for her because she didn’t even understand what needed to be done. Communication was a nightmare, delays were constant, and I felt completely abandoned throughout the process. No updates, no urgency, no basic competence.

To make matters worse, I lost nearly £2,000 in fees and wasted time with this firm before finally realising that if I didn't switch solicitors, the sale would collapse altogether. The new solicitor was stunned at how poorly everything had been handled.

This wasn’t just bad service it was utterly unacceptable. I wouldn't trust this firm with the simplest legal matter, let alone something as critical as a property transaction.

Do yourself a massive favor: STAY AWAY.
Law and Lawyers cost me money, time, and nearly a sale. If you're considering them don’t. Just don’t.
