Helpful honestly

The team in particular Phoebe and Thomas were quick to arrange viewings, process paperwork, and Cathy has been extremely efficient handling maintenance enquiries. Very glad we chose Leaders to rent out our flat.

It was nice experience with miss phobe.she guide well.

We are looking for a house or flat to leave together and it’s not easy but Phoebe is helping us a lot. She is kind and professional and give as information asap if there is a new property.
We know gonna find something soon because of her professional work and help.

Have to say I’ve dealt with many agencies before, but this was the best, smooth and efficient experience I’ve had and was a pleasure, this was mainly due to Ms Libby Riddle! Dealt with all our requirements and requests swiftly and kept us in the loop promptly. Thanks Ms Riddle and Leaders. ❤️

I was assisted through the whole process by Libby Riddle from Leaders Bishops Stortford. From the beginning, she was kind and accommodating in finding a suitable time for a viewing. Throughout the entire process, she was a calming presence and made sure I had a good understanding of the property and the neighbourhood. From the moment I rang the office last year up until the day I collected my keys, I was supported and I felt that there was a real human touch to their operations which is lacking in most places. I even got a lovely box of welcome snacks/discount cards! Thank you to the team and especially Libby for your hard work.

I dealt with Libby Riddle(in person). She was fantastic. Friendly, punctual, patient, efficient and professional. It was a pleasure to deal with her. I also dealt with Phoebe Cross(on phone). She was kind, helpful, efficient and friendly. They made what could have been stressful, easy and a great experience. Would highly recommend.

I decided to move out for the first time and used leaders to guide me the through the process. The whole process was really straightforward, Libby Riddle dealt with my application and she went above and beyond to answer all my questions, ensuring the whole process was as smooth as could be. Highly recommend to others.

Leaders always kept me upto date and helped me so much to find a nice place to rent that would except my dog & cat.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!!!!! COMPLETE SCAMMERS!!!! I rented a cottage through the bishops Stortford branch for 12 month commencing October 2024 and left in October 2025 throughout my tenancy i did not have to deal with the company much throughout until my landlady chose to sell the property nearing the end of my tenancy where they were doing viewings where i made myself available and the cottage presentable for this.
I opted for the no deposit option, be aware this is a complete scam. When i left the property i had paid for a cleaner and left the cottage as mentioned in the contract in the same state as which i found it. I had a end of tenancy report taken which reflected this that the cottage was in the same state. .Then the nightmare started! I had a report come though which said they had booked a deep cleaner for the cottage and i owed £350 due to this, I asked for photo evidence of what they had actually done in regards to a deep clean to warrant such a high price, they kept saying that these were supplied in the end of tenancy report, and refused to provide any actual evidance of the actual clean. They then begrudgingly sent me a invoice through for this 'clean' which once i researched the name and the name on the persons monzo who was needing to be paid it turned out this particular person was a property manager at leaders according to linked in (dodgy if you ask me) they then threatened me with a court case if i did not pay the amount and sent numerous emails mentioning this and the fact that i will loose and will have to pay an additional £180 if this was the case. This got so bad and i was petrified from this situation that i would need to pay over £500 for this situation that i ended up just paying the £350. They still then sent this to the court and when i called to say that i had paid all i had was well you should have paid quicker shouldn't you ! Fast forward to today 2 months since i left the cottage, i receive another leaders notification through stating the hot water is not working at the cottage, i cannot see how 2 months after i have left why this is my issue, the layout of the email they have sent is the same as the 'deep cleean' so i fear they will be trying to charge me again for this. To Conclude, I would 100% avoid these scammers if you are looking to use them unless you wat to be out of pocket, do not listen to the 0% deposit spiel when they try to upsell this to you, you are paying them directly for basically nothing and this does not give you any depositary protection what so ever ! There is much much much more to this story however i can go on all day! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID !

The agent customer service is really poor . I even don't want to give one star. They cancelled my appointment without telling me in advance. Now they ask for proof of fund even just view the property. Instead of providing service, they think they are your boss.

Very happy with the service I received in finding a new tenant. Tom and Phoebe were nothing short of extremely professional from the outset and kept me updated at every stage. I am delighted with my tenant and would recommend Leaders without hesitation.

Really appreciate the work Phoebe and Tom did processing the move of my son into his new flat. They were both very helpful and flexible and that made a stressful time much smoother. Thank you both.

After a visit from Rachel who inspected our home we found her delightful, very professional and thorough ensuring that all safety equipment was working and up-to-date. Racheal arrived on time.

Rachel did a fantastic job with the inspection. She was polite, professional, and respectful of the home, even removing her shoes before starting. The inspection was carried out carefully and efficiently. Very happy with the service.

It happened again. After Eurolet being rebranded into Leaders in Bishop's Storford, they have dragged me through the mud one more time.

A garage advertised for rent for £150/month, I am being told it is "storage only" upon calling them. A compromise is found (my car is only small) and a time agreed one hour later than what I could do. I patiently wait, but I get a call to say that the appointment moved to tomorrow for a reason of "daughter of the landlady" having the keys.

On the day, the "manager of the garage block" meets me, no daughter in sight, and keys to multiple garages in her hands. I am told to view a garage that it did not want (the drive is on an incline) and the ones that were advertised are damp and full of mould upon inspection. I agree to number 11, as I have no other choice.

The same afternoon I am sent a digital application form which is asking to fill the details Leaders already have - I have got through them on the initial call. I patiently fill-in the tenancy application form that has no relevance to garage rent (it is asking details of previous tenancy, etc). I then have to wait for another day as I am told that somebody "is not around" to be able to approve the rent.

An email finally arrives the next day, and I am told that I need to pay for the whole year in advance. Three days wasted, time taken off work to view the garage, tape measure in hand as requested by the lettings agency to make sure my car may or might not fit (???) and the whole story makes zero sense.

Maybe me being non-British had something to do with it? That is the only answer I can come up with. Do not bother, do not waste your time.

I had trouble with my last estimate agent. Unfortunately for me they promised me good tenants and the estate agent would look after my property for me. This was not the case. They rented my house out to young degenerates who sub let my property out , went home for months while randoms were staying. It was a nightmare. I got them out in the end.
I went to leaders to have a chat about renting my home out again. Explained the ordeal I went through, what I wanted and expected from Leaders as an estate agent. We spoke about some things I wanted to be able to do as a responsible landlord. I met Tom and we had a chat, Tom went through everything with me and explained everything. Within a week we had the tenant and ready for checks. Before a fortnight past they were in. Leaders delivered everything they said they would. I am a very happy customer.

The previous tenants wanted to leave the tenancy early so the team at Leaders which included Tom, Debbie, Kate, Liam and George explained what happens next and then handled it so smoothly in a extremely short timeframe. They were organised, experienced and were a credit to Leaders and themselves. I often receive letters or telephone calls asking me to transfer to another agency but have remained loyal to this team as they are very professional and believe they work in my best interests at all times.

Great customer service all round. Very helpful.
