It is impossible to cancel a delivery, the packages come in Chinese, you don't have a return address nor a physical contact

The positive reviews on here are fake. BEWARE of this company and move on. Like others have said, the website is gorgeous, but when we received our light, my electrician said it was bad quality and not something we should hang. To make it worse, there were missing parts that made it really hard for him to install it. I’ve repeatedly asked for a refund and the best they seem to be able to do is 25% off my original purchase price and keep the product. You pay the return shipping yourself, and the return shipper is in China. So you do the math.

We purchased two of the Archipelago Lights and they look beautiful in my dining room. During the process, we had lots of questions about the installation and found customer service to be very responsive. Also, one of the globes broke in shipping, one I broke and they replaced them free of charge. Expedited shipment for additional rods needed due to high ceiling. Very pleased with the overall experience.

They have lovely web sight with a good range to choose from. However they do not stand by their product. their customer service pays lip service but actually they are unwilling to do anything to resolve the matter ( offering me 15% off my next purchase, something they send to every customer every other week). I bought dinning room light. it looks bit like a Sombrero hat. In the picture it clearly shows it it hanging straight. the one that arrived is 'twisted' ( best way to describe it) clearly the ribbon in the design is too tight versus how it should be made. Its not adjustable They refused to replace it with a like for like or explain to us in satisfactory why it doesnt look like the picture they advertise on their website. Finally they hide behind their 30 day refund policy. I admit I did not contact them for a couple months after purchase but its because I was renovating a house and wanted it ready, for when we were ready to hang it a couple months after buying I opened the box up and hung it up. Immediately I could see it is not right. After a month and more 7 emails back and forth I give up. They will never try and do the right thing and their customer service doesnt stand behind their website / products

We recently purchased and installed the Feng Shui chandelier. We absolutely love it! We can change the light color and also dim it. It puts out plenty of light. It really is like a piece of art.

During the process, we had lots of questions about the installation, and found customer service to be very responsive. The light was received in a timely manner.

Don’t buy from them, it’s a SCAM.

Ordered a light of 718 dollars 6 weeks ago and never received it!

There is nothing Scandinavian about these lights. Off the bat they are straight from China, shipping took forever, the lights look nothing like the photos online, and the material and quality is very poor. Good luck getting them to accept back. I can’t hang in my house.

I am very pleased with my purchase of the Microcosm light feature. It looks truly stunning over our new kitchen island, bringing plenty of light for us to work there.
My purchase originally arrived with one of the glass spheres broken. However, after I communicated the issue to the customer services, the team was very quick in resolving my problem and within a couple of weeks I received my replacement sphere, and one additional one as well. Thank you Lights of Scandinavia for your excellent product and thank you for after purchase care.

Believe the negative reviews. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS! This company not only sells cheap quality versions of lights that you can get on eBay, they also have the worst customer service and after sales service around. 5 months to get one faulty light replaced. Well its been 5 months and its still on the boat from who knows where so who knows, maybe 6-7 months to get a replacement.

Absolutely do not purchase from this company. They do not back their return policy and they lack transparency. Scam company.

I'm always looking for ways to upgrade my home, and I recently found the perfect solution with lightsofscandinavia. Their selection of modern chandeliers is simply stunning, and the quality of their products is unbeatable.

It is a scam. Do not buy from the lights of Scandinavia . I bought the light fixture from them. It was not safe to install.
They have only 14 days to refund . The light fixture I bought violates US building code and licensed building professional recommended not to install it. I asked for refund and was told that my 14 day return period had passed. They’re selling products that are not up to electrical code to install. Stay safe.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I ordered a light from them, got a "default tracking code" and then nothing for 2 months. I'm working with my credit card company to reverse the charges.

First, on their website they very heavily imply that they are a Scandinavian company located in Sweden. However, they never specifically say they are located there. They have only a Swedish postal code listed as their address belonging to an "e-commerce company".

In their "About Us" section, they reiterate their supposed Swedish heritage, and that they have an "eclectic network of designers" from all over. But if you keep reading you find that they centralize everything through a warehouse in Guangdong China.

They mention that they focus primarily on the US market. I find it odd that a company that is supposed to be based in Sweden only has an English version of their website and ZERO footprint Europe. I used a VPN to check the website experience from Sweden and everything was still in English. They are specifically targeting the US (or English) market.

So if you think you are getting Scandinavian design, you are really just getting a Chinese version of a lumens or other lighting shopping website.

As for my actual order! I ordered at the end of Nov, and very quickly got a "default tracking number" that indicated my order was received. However, it has sat with little movement for over a month. I have found this sort of behavior on other websites, where a tracking number is given quickly to give the appearance of activity on the order. It also gives the company the excuse of "shipping issues". It is now 5 weeks, beyond their max estimated shipping time, and there still has been no update on the tracking.

For customer service, and I reflect back on their "About Us" page where they mention their home office in Sweden taking care of all orders. The response emails are sent when it would be 3am in Sweden, but are during business hours in China.

I've also found various online threads and discussions that have nothing but negative things to say about their experience with this company. Some of never gotten their order, and others have gotten what they consider to be knock-offs of the products shown.

I haven't personally had the chance to deal with their return policy, as I haven't received the order yet. However, the same reviews have told horror stories about getting refunds on damaged or non-working items. The company also expects you to pay for shipping costs if they do actually accept a return.

You will actually be able to find the lights they have on other websites. They make it difficult to copy/paste anything from their search results, and often rename the products to make it more difficult to find the exact same item somewhere else. Their prices are very cheap and enticing, however, you'll pay for it elsewhere in dealing with them.

My recommendation is to avoid them altogether and pay for the real product elsewhere. You'll have a MUCH better experience, and in my opinion, that makes the extra cost very worth it.
