AMBA: Great diving trip with excellent value for money 😊
The trip on the Amba was accompanied by us and is currently being accompanied personally by the owner and manager, Stefan, which results in a rare level of service orientation and a "family atmosphere".
Stefan (a trained chef) and his head chef Max (trained by Schubeck) give their all in the kitchen! From fresh sourdough bread to great desserts and fantastic curries, there is something for everyone.
Even though the Amba is no longer brand new, you can immediately see that someone is constantly making sure that everything is in good working order and that everything really works – down to the smallest detail:
Not only are there Euro plug sockets for charging the many Tamagotchis, but there is also top-quality drinking water from the tap, a selection of coffee and tea 24/7, really hot water with plenty of pressure in the shower, a well-stocked on-board bar and a small on-board shop in case anything is missing from the equipment. The boat is very well equipped, the cabins are tastefully furnished and very spacious, and the entire layout of the decks and rooms is very well thought out.
We were impressed by the dedication shown by Stefan and his team when it turned out that our Dohni had a leak and water was getting in. Not only was everything constantly checked and weighed up (safety really is "first") to ensure the safety of our trip and our dives, but we were also kept informed and involved in everything.
When the Dohni was no longer operational on the penultimate day, Stefan's team even provided a replacement Dohni just for the last dive – this is what true service orientation looks like, something you would probably hardly find on other dive boats.
The crew and dive guides were also super friendly, competent and simply nice people at all times, who you enjoy being on a boat with.
Unfortunately, in our case, visibility and currents were not ideal, but that's just nature and not something the organiser can control. However, when everything else on board is perfect, the "stupid outgoing current", which means the sharks simply don't feel like showing up, only matters half as much.

The price listed on the website is not the same as the price I was ultimately charged! The website promises a 25% discount, but in reality, it's only 20%. Some cabins are no longer available, despite the information listed on the website. I sent several emails, but I never received a response. I am a loyal customer and have always been very satisfied with Liveaboard until now, but I regret to see that the quality of service has declined. I also asked a question about the situation regarding the typhoon that hit Cebu in the Philippines: the response I received was a kind of automatic reply, with no consideration for the typhoon and the actual situation.

Al momento tutto sta andando male. Due giorni fa prenotata una settimana a 8000€, arrivata richiesta di pagamento per 11.000. Dopo averli contattato, hanno detto che avrebbero investigato sul motivo e poi silenzio.
15 ore fa prenotata altra crociera con partenza tra 20 giorni. ancora nessuna conferma. e intanto il prezzo del volo è ovviamente già salito.

Had a great experience booking with liveaboard.com had good communication and fast responses and my liveaboard was top notch! Went on the Red Sea Aggressor V and would definitely recommend it!

First time at the great and beautiful Amazonas.
I will go back. The experience of being with all the amazing activities, from visitin the jungle, swiming in the fresh eaters, discovering rare birds, listening the sounds of huge trees, monkeys and kingfisher, parrots, also reading the el chullachaqui and el tunche fantastique legends. That huge territory peaceful and amazing brings best experience. If you like nature, you must live in this boat, good dreams good food, good shower, and the great crew, excelent trip . All the way from Lima to Iquitos, you feel then how Peruvian people loves to wotk for and with you.

The booking experience was easy, the staff was responsive and did all the necessary follow up in a timely way. I recommend.

After the payment there was no further response from this website, no further service available, so we suspected this website was a scam

Liveaboard Ocean Lovers Egypte

32 duikers met 4 gidsen
Ocean Lovers zeer groot schip.
Jacuzzi aanwezig maar 2 personen.
Er was ook een groep uit Brussel en voelde dit ook niet aangenaam met zoveel volk op de boot.
Diverse dagen meer dan 300 duikers op een en hetzelfde moment , zelfde plaats en zelfde tijdstip in het water.
Veel kun je dan ook niet verwachten, je moest meer opletten dat je niet in een andere groep terecht kwam en verder was er weinig of niets te zien.
Denk dat de vissen als er waren zich zouden schrikken zoveel duikers te zien.
2 haaien op Brother Eilanden en een grote Napoleon vis op een wrak.
De wrakken waren zeer goed en mooi om erin te duiken, maar alweer met meer dan 200 duikers. Je stond in de rij achter elkaar.
Veel koralen maar geen leven van grote vissen. Hier en daar een zeeslak.
Nachtduik meer dan 100 duikers op hetzelfde moment, tijdstip en plaats.
Alweer gids in het oog houden en zo zag je niets. Voor deze reden heb ik diverse duiken overgeslagen.
Veel ontevreden duikers heel groep uit Brussel, Koreanen hadden meer verwacht en waren ook ontgoocheld.
Laatste avond werd er niets gedaan op de boot voor het afsluiten van de week.
Je kreeg twee enveloppen op je kamer en de nummer van je kamer erop vermeld.
Zo konden ze zien wie en hoeveel men gaf.
Je werd gewoon onder druk gezet om minimaal 70€ per duiker te geven.
Nooit meegemaakt, altijd anonieme enveloppe, wat nog andere duikers ook vonden.
Je bent een nummer.
Bij laatste ontbijt dag niemand van crew gezien om goede morgen te wensen.
Waren weg.
Je voelt dat het meer een commerciële bedoeling is.
Kwantiteit is belangrijker dan kwaliteit.
Het eten was goed, de kamers waren netjes en de crew was goed.
Maar je gaat om te duiken, om te ontdekken en niet op een boot zitten.
Dan kun je beter op hotel gaan.
Ben zeer ontgoocheld over deze Liveaboard en route. Heb er meer dan 10 gedaan en de beste was en is nog altijd in Palau.
Gesproken met een groep dames uit Engeland niet van onze boot en waren ook niet te spreken om nog in Egypte te gaan duiken.
Massa toerisme en weinig te zien onderwater.

Toller Service bei LiveAboard! Wir kommen wieder!

Mein Mann und ich waren im Oktober 2025 über Liveaboard auf dem Tauchboot Serenity. Kapitän und Crew brauchten für jedes Anlegemanöver mindestens 45 Minuten. Bestzeit war mit vier Stunden, bei dem der Kapitän zuerst ein Boot gerammt hat, anschließend zwei seiner Gehilfen fast versenkt hätte und zu guter Letzt sein eigenes Zodiak überfahren hat, wobei wahrscheinlich ein Motor kaputt ging. Bei der Überfahrt zu Small Brother hatte der Kapitän ein sehr schlechtes Wendemanövern hingelegt, sodass unser Badezimmer im Untergeschoss überflutet wurde (trotz geschlossener Bullaugen) und das Bett meines Mannes nass wurde. Zudem ist in der Küche das ganze Geschirr durch die Gegend geflogen und teilweise sind auch Jackets mit Flaschen zu Boden geknallt.
Wir mussten den ganzen Weg von den Brothers nach Hurghada mit einem Motor zurückfahren, damit der Motor repariert werden konnte. Nach der Reparatur ging die Tour weiter; mit drei Gästen weniger, denn diesen Leuten war dies alles zu gefährlich! Sie bekamen erst nach langen Diskussionen und Unterschriften über diverse Erklärungen, dass sie kein Geld zurück bekommen ihre Pässe.
Zum ganzen Desaster ist auch noch das ganze Boot ziemlich schmuddelig bis schimmlig. Es gab kaum frische Handtücher, Zigaretten wurden gestohlen. Aber das alles ist nicht so wild. Am Vorletzten Tag sind wir draufgekommen, warum die Angestellten alle in den Gängen und auf den Sitzbänken am Oberdeck geschlafen haben: sie hatten Angst, in ihrer Kabine zu schlafen, die sich unter der Küche befindet, weil in der Küche die Gasleitungen marode sind und ein Gasleck drohte. Die Diveguides haben keine Ahnung vom Tauchen. Jeder Tauchgang mit ihnen ist in die Hose gegangen. Falscher Einstieg, falsche Tiefe, falsche Richtung. Wir waren an den Brothers, um die Aida, die Numidia und Haie zu sehen; bei einem Hai ist es geblieben. Nichts war´s mit den Wracks! Leider war dieser Urlaub mehr Stress als Erholung, aber wir sind froh, dass wir diesen Horrorurlaub überlebt haben! Nach Berichterstattung (Mängelliste war zwei Seiten lang) an Liveaboard wurde alles runtergespielt. Es hat nie einen Zusammenstoß mit einem anderen Boot gegeben. Das Boot sei sicher und die Crew zuverlässig und deshalb wird das Boot weiterhin im Programm bleiben. Wir haben nie Geld zurückgefordert (so wie von Liveaboard behauptet), denn wir wollten nur, dass das Boot nicht mehr ausläuft, da es gravierende Sicherheitsmängel hat. Viel Geld für einen Urlaub, der absolut nicht erholsam war und dann wird man von Liveabord noch als Lügner abgestempelt.

It is the second time with lifeaboard and I am totally satisfied with
1. dive master - they took so much care about safety, briefings, explanations under water and above and to give us the best dive experiences
2. the crew - always very friendly and helpful
3. the food - delicious and so much. I liked that it was mostly local food and always freshly cooked
4. cleaning - they cleaned the cabine I think 3x per day
5. formula of 3,5 days - we did 10 dives - intense and fantastic and very relaxing. Diving - eating - relaxing and this the whole day . Lovely
6. organization - upfront always in contact with me. I am very grateful and impressed
7. boat - great better than it was in my last trip.
8. price - quality was perfect

So to summarize- I was with my 17 year old daughter and I will certainly do it again

Seatopia was really fantopia!!!! Excellent value for money. Everything what is required was available: perfect food, excellent crew, new boat, cabin with private showers, all new equipment. We really enjoyed the dives with our perfect dive guide. Small groups of max 4 divers with a dive guide. Dive sides were well chosen. We had a Manta and turtle in front of us. All fits very well. Dive, eat, sleep and repeat. We strongly recommend Seatopia. Onboarding and debarking was well organized. Go and have fun. There will be no doubt. Thanks for great 4 days. We easily will go back.

We booked our trip on the Aquacat for Sept 27-Oct 4 My husband and I were super excited about it until the rain and tropical storm Imelda decided to join us there. We could not leave the dock on Sunday morning as planned but the crew arranged tours for the members that wanted to get off the boat. We were unable to get to Exuma until Tuesday. The Capt and staff did everything they could to get us as much diving as possible but the visibilty was poor and the conditions still not good due to the tropical storm. We were unable to do any land excursions or go on the most popular dive sites. My husband and I decided we would rebook for next year. The boat and crew were amazing and we felt very safe during the storm. LiveAboard. com was very easy to book through and answered questions we had promptly. But the best surprise was the vouchers we received when we returned to rebook our trip. The storm was not their fault but they gave us an amazing chance to come back at a very low cost to us. I really appreciate them for this and highly recommend them for all your liveaboard adventures.
