I met Josh some time back when I was considering selling my home and needless to say we decided not to sell at that time. I reached back out to Josh several months later (recently) to explore other options that might me available to me in this tough economy. He responded almost immediately and gave me a few options off the top of his head but advised that he'd review some things and call me back. That return call started with some ugly truths but ended with us CLOSING on a refinance in LESS than the original 30 days we had previously discussed. Josh & his team was EXCEPTIONAL they left no stones unturned in getting us to the FINISH LINE!!!!

Overall great service from Andrew Benjamin. Quick processing time, underwriters didn't ask for the same thing over and over, constant communication.

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. They have been an absolute nightmare to deal with. I got set up with a competent person named Jay that asked me for a bunch of documents and then just ghosted me. Talk to and was promised by three others that they would look into my file and they never did the company just steals your information. Do not trust or fall for their false advertising and save yourself some time and go with a reputable company with competent loan officers

I was extremely skeptical about doing a refinance because of the interest rates and a 1200 dollar increase in my mortgage obligation. Sam Berman was the loan advisor and he is absolutely the most honest and ethical loan advisor that we have ever spoken with. Sam did everything he possibly could to get us the loan that we needed. Unfortunately we weren’t able to close the deal with Lower but, that was due to no fault of his. We get it… At the end of the day these are employees that are working for an employer and they are limited to what the boss says they can do. However having an employee that cares enough to take the time and do the work necessary to even try when it’s not a guaranteed deal makes a difference.

We knew what we wanted and couldn’t settle for much different than that. Sam looked at all options and went above and beyond trying to make what Lower had to offer work for us. What really stood out was his willingness to try everything in his power and he made us feel that we were important. He never came across like the others who insisted that we needed to do a complete refinance and that we were wasting their time. Sam is a good human with strong morals and values which was not our experience with mortgage salespeople. Most salespeople no matter what their industry are so busy chasing that dollar that they forget that they are dealing with people. But especially true in the mortgage finance industry is that they are directly involved in the largest investment most people ever make in their entire lives. Sam Berman is an exception to the stereotypes we all have experienced with sales. If anyone is looking for mortgage financing we would absolutely share Sam Berman’s contact information with them.

We went with another lender but we were saddened that Sam was not apart of this once in a lifetime opportunity that we have. We both hope Lower knows what a rockstar they have and what an asset Sam Berman is to them.

Andrew Benjamin helped us with our home equity loan, was very helpful, and made the process quick and easy. We would definitely use Lower again and ask for Andrew in the future!

Trust to me is the most important aspect of any company I deal with. This is even more true when refinancing a mortgage.

I came to Matthew Mikel at Lower.com after I received a loan estimate from the largest Mortgager in the country. The interest rate on the estimate was way too high and there were significant dollars to pay at closing.

Matt looked at the numbers and was very determined to make it work for me. He made me feel like I wasn’t just any customer but like I was his most important.

He found a way to significantly lower the interest rate from that of the estimate of the other company, less closing costs and cash coming back to me at closing.

There were no surprises at closing and I could not be happier with the end result. My sincere thanks to all at LOWER and especially to Matthew Mikel

Sam Berman, our Senior Loan Advisor, was great to work with on this loan. He was easy to get in touch with and always tracked down an answer to our questions if he didn’t already have the answer. We had some complicated things to navigate and Sam helped us work through one thing at a time and got us everything we needed for the loan to close smoothly.

Sam responded to my phone calls and emails promptly. Very professional and knowledgeable. As a Loan Officer myself, I would highly recommend.

Don’t walk… run away from this company. Uses pressure and scare tactics to push you into committing. A refi would actually cost more money yet they use incorrect numbers in their quote to make you think it’s a great deal until you ask for it in writing and see they are lying. What a waste of time and energy.

Our experience working with Mallory Miller and Kelly Grant was exceptional. The entire process was smooth, well organized, and clearly explained every step of the way.
