Sam Berman and the Lower team were amazing to work with! The process was seamless for the start to the end, and still continues to be great afterwards! I highly recommend their services as they are punctual, personal, and reliable!

John Christian at Lower was amazing. We had a very complex refinance and John made it happen. We have a small business, it was a converting construction loan AND it was a jumbo loan. All three of these things presented huge hurdles on their own but John made them all happen regardless. John was also great with communication along the way which helped reduce the stress further. We would definitely recommend John and Lower to our friends and family.

Sean and his team at Lower were so easy to work with. I talked to many lenders and he had the lowest rate and costs. Not only was it the best deal for my situation, but he was able to help us out when things got tough and make the loan smooth stress-free and get us to the closing table. This is my second time using Sean and his team, both times everything worked out better than expected. I can seriously say Sean O'Neil is the reason I closed on my home. I’d recommend to anybody!

Hanna worked all hours for us to get us approved for our loan and a bridge loan that required a lot of cross documents and communication. She was available 24/7 and was professional and friendly. She’s a pro.

Untrustworthy and Deceptive – Avoid This Lender!

I had an awful experience with Lower Mortgage LLC. Not only did they charge me for services without clear communication, but they also mishandled my personal and financial information. Despite my request to have my credit card details and personal data removed from their system, I received no proper confirmation or assurance that my information was deleted or protected from third-party sharing.

The worst part? They denied my mortgage just two days before closing, even though they had already made their decision two weeks earlier and failed to inform me in a timely manner. Their complete lack of transparency and professionalism caused unnecessary stress and financial strain.

To make matters worse, they relied on AI to make their lending decision and flagged my application negatively due to a name change, without ever reaching out to me for clarification. Instead of verifying simple details, they allowed an automated system to dictate my financial future with no accountability.

A mortgage company should be honest, communicative, and willing to work with their clients—Lower Mortgage LLC is none of those things. If you want a lender that values its customers and makes informed decisions, stay far away from Lower Mortgage LLC.

The pre-approval process through Lower was fast and seamless. Shawn went above and beyond by being available after hours to answer all my questions and being 100% transparent. He provided excellent customer service, educated me on the process as a first time home buyer, and made the entire experience stress-free. As a bonus, he was personable and easy to talk to. I highly recommend Lower and working with Shawn!

Debbie and her assistant Stephanie really made my home buying experience smooth. From the first time I talked to Debbie, she made me feel comfortable about going through Lower for my loan. She explained the process to me, communicated well and often throughout each phase, and was available to answer any question I had. Stephanie was great also.
