Ordered a meal via the app and didn't get it delivered. Got a call off the driver saying someone else had picked my order up and to ring, which I did. I was then told that even though there was no delivery, they won't refund me. Absolute con. Their customer service is none existent. Avoid

As a family we went drive-thru at Macdonalds Raunds Northants, (chicken Macrispy meals ordered) The buns were so burnt it made the meal inedible..
I contacted MacDonalds customer service (good quick response from them) but their standard answer (here is a free medium meal, use the QR Code)
I don’t want your free medium macdonalds meal x1.
I informed you and took time out of our busy life’s (nhs staff) to inform you that the quality (or lack of it, fell very short) of the expected standard. Your response to our feedback makes us feel as customers that we are simply after a free meal by complaining. Our nearest Macdonalds is a 7 mile drive from home address so to say we are disappointed and willing to be elbowed off with x1 medium free meal is a insult.

Hopeless customer care.. didn't know who to serve, service was rude, then after ordering found that most of the stuff was not available. Had a job sorting out getting my money back .

Eating in is a terrible experience , we usually try to do drive in as in so many branches this hanging out of jobless teenagers seems to be a normal thing now and nobody of management team can tell them off and ask them to leave , absolutely horrible atmosphere, Coventry branches especially, sitting on the tables or putting their feet on the tables, smoking, acting really provoking and patronising , absolutely disgusting that McDonald’s still hasn’t addressed this safety issue for their customers!

Hi I would like to say a massive thank you to Brandon at your Grainger street restaurant in Newcastle! He helped track down our food & brought it over to us. Someone had also made an awful mess on the baby change unit which he went and cleared up for us. Nothing was too much trouble for him. I hope you see this and he is rewarded for his high level of customer service! He made a stressful situation so much better as eating out with 4 small children on a busy Saturday is never easy! He is definitely a credit to your company! Thank you Brandon

It's not good

Just had drive through , chips missing after we asked is everything definitely there ! How very annoying no chips for my daughter

Went 26.11.22 festival park around 12.00pm. It was packed. There must have been 20 odd workers behind the counter, drive through was backed up spilling out onto the street causing traffic build up. So other cars couldn't drive anywhere (They need to change this to how it was before as it's causing massive issues for other road users) Black Friday weekend must be the reason why. Staff were worked off their feet yet still managed to be nice, polite, friendly. People didn't empty their own tray or move it to the area where it goes. Food, trays etc were left on the tables. It's not always down to staff to clear! The machine was down for ticket call out, hence why everyone was standing around the front end to hear their number shouted verbally. We waited 45 minutes for our food. They need to advertise waiting times, so you can make a choice whether to order or not. Food was the usual. I felt for the staff. I couldn't do that job.

Ordered from the drive through. Waited for 30m to have it brought to my car, the food was cold, missing 2 drinks and an apple pie. My husband went in to be told no pie or milkshakes. Offered refund, which they didn’t know how to do including the manager, so have paid for things I never received and for food that was cold and inedible. This was at holes bay in Poole, Dorset

A group of 5 of us ordered big mac meals only 3x burgers turned up so 2 of us went hungry the option to replace order was not available, I won't be using deliveroo or macdonalds again, zero stars wasn't an option

MacDonalds Broadstairs can't get a delivery correct, so go up there & they still can't get an order right??? So many staff but still incompetent....!!!! Still items missing from my order, managers in the service area standing there doing nothing, staff still get it all wrong??? Last time I had a delivery had four items missing... Will be giving MacDonalds a break for sometime I think pay a lot of money for poor service & incorrect orders🤬

I ordered though Uber eats to the McDs Whitfield and for the third time I have ordered 4 sugars donuts and I get thee millionaire donuts and a chocolate brownie if I wanted them I would have ordered them and I even put a note in the delivery to see asking to make shore that these was 4 sugared donuts as I have an allergy to chocolate but it made no difference I have now deleted my Uber eats account and will no be using them again

Disappointed.

Little onset and two mistakes,
Sunday 7:pm, I am tired, stopped in MC and ordered my crispy with bacon and they forgot to add the bacon, and my wrap came without salad.
Most impressed was the way staff didn’t care about it.

Macdonalds and Starbucks near Stansted airport
Enter at your peril, beware you could end up with a fine. Shall not ever go back especially as we was charged £100 fine for parking, which we was scare mongered into paying early to get 40% off.
if you have to use Mac D or the Starbucks, only use their individual car parking space, (not many spaces) take a recording of registering your car with the staff. take note of the time and keep for 8 weeks at least, as it can take this amount of time to receive the fine ( we was 4 weeks) not even sure if it was legal as thought it had to be issued within 14 days, although not sure of this fact. Best thing is to avoid totally until they sort out customer parking and make it much clearer and visible to all customers that if you park in McDonalds you cant go to Starbucks even if you have purchased something from both as we did. Maybe a warning on the door or register your car when ordering food. Learn by our mistake or avoid all together if you can.
To add to the misery we didn't even enjoy breakfast at all the Mac D egg and bacon muffins, was cold and tasteless, and the new flat bread was rubbery.
Coffee mediocre

Went to Bankhead McDonalds Glenrothes, disgusting service, and chicken nuggets shrivelled up and cold. I was left in one lane with no other customers and totally ignored, a car appeared in the other lane and got served straight away, then the car behind it got served, eventually served me, when I questioned it, I was told that’s what they have to do. Terrible service, terrible food, I will not be back.

MacDonald hunts cross , Liverpool absolutely bad never again in MacDonalds poor customer service bad management no leadership complaint about staff attitude they sent a voucher as (good will )then come to restaurant to use it the staff don’t know how to sorted and give a meal the manager did help just said sorry I can’t help looks like a joke .
Thank go we got more places to spend our money.

MacDonalds Salisbury city centre has slowly over past few months got so slow it takes on average 10 minutes from ordering to getting your order. What doesn’t help us the number of online delivery orders, in my opinion they should have a separate section for that to keep walk in business moving

Sandbach MacDonalds is the worst i think i have ever been too. The staff are totally ignorant and after waiting 30 mins at the second window (where you always get forgotten about) i asked for the Manager and she was as nonchalant as the rest of the staff and looked like she couldn't care less. No customer service at all and the food was cold and looked like it was thrown together by a 3 year old. Also @MacDonalds what the hell is going on with your milkshakes?? every one we go too it's "sorry the machine is not working" come on get a grip guys!!

I’ve just reminded myself why I rarely go to MacDonalds Wellington Retail Park Telford! Sat in the “drive thru” for 50 mins only to get the wrong order, this was then followed by a 30 minute wait in the restaurant while they re-did my order!
The last time I ordered a MacDonalds from here I used the App, again my order was wrong, I did contact MacDonalds to complain, after several days I was contacted and advised I would get a voucher, this never arrived.
It’s obvious that this branch of MacDonalds can’t accommodate the amount of orders it gets from the drive thru, in person, the app and collections from food delivery companies. The term “Fast Food” is a complete joke.

I don't know why I keep placing an Uber order from this franchise. Every time there is either something missing, or, multiple items missing and it's always cold. They never pick the phone up. The food cannot be hot when it leaves the restaurant because it is cold when it arrives at my home.
This really is the last time I order from this restaurant.
