Awful customer service, processing and shipping times and costs
Overpriced, extortionate shipping fees, they take forever to process and ship Awful, do not waste your time and money!!! They overcharge for shipping. I took a chance and ordered a second item for a clients bulk order, they charged me, I waited a week for a tracking number and then they cancelled due to it being out of stock. How did they not know this?! Very awful customer service. Almost dismissive. Oblivious to customers needs and poorly run company. Utterly disappointed back to back with this company.

I placed my first order on Makesy.com on 3/6/24 and paid $32 for two day shipping. I did not receive my package in two days and emailed Makesy so I could be refunded .
I assume customer service is non existent because I emailed three times and no one ever responded to any of my emails about getting a refund for my shipping cost.
Wicks donât burn
Iâd like to start with the positives- we ordered a heart silicone mold, dyes, wicks, and metal wick clips. The silicone mold has worked perfectly, and the dyes are very pigmented. I am happy with these purchases. Additionally, shipping was fast and everything was accounted for and in tact.
The ultimate wick 0.4 is where the low rating comes from. First, I used the wick guide to guide me in purchasing the correct wick. However, after making candles with the new wicks, the wicks will not stay lit. They light for approximately 3-4 seconds and then burn out.
I contacted customer support asking for assistance. They emailed back in the specified time frame and wanted further details, wax type, vessel size, wick size, etc., which I provided them. After emailing back and forth they questioned if I had tried another type of wick from them as the guide is just a guide, and not the ultimate end answer. I advised I would not be purchasing more wicks from them when the current ones wonât stay lit.
Customer service then advised I could send the wicks back (minus what Iâve used) for a store credit- but Iâd be shipping them at my own cost. I suggested a revisit to their refund policy and advised I would not be sending the wicks back for a store credit I wonât use. They followed up with an email that they may be able to do a one time prepaid shipping label, and I could return that way for store credit- thus I wouldnât pay for the return shipping. I advised them there was no need to go the extra length, I would just leave a review. Next thing I know there is a prepaid shipping label in my inbox.
Customer service made the prepaid shipping label issue right. My complaint is the wicks donât stay lit, and Iâd save your money. The wicks from Amazon have been great.

We spend thousands with this company monthly and their quality control has gone downhill. The customer service is decent, but they don't talk via phone which is bad business. We ordered much needed wood wicks 10 days ago and they still haven't shipped.It's not like their coming from Europe! In addition, we've received numerous fragrance oils that have not been sealed or packaged properly only to spill out in the box all over stuff and had to be replaced. Brambleberry packages great! They seal the bottles with electric tape and then secure them so they don't shift during shipping. I'm retired from the airlines of 33 (Customer Service Supervisor) and honestly, this is a bad business model. They should be contacting their warehouse in Texas and addressing this. They could potentially be fined by all U.S carriers that transport their fragrances due to violation of the Hazardous Materials clause. This goes for both Air/Land. I hope someone in their company addresses this before they lose customers and get hit with heavy fines. We love the products when they arrive in good order even though they are a bit over priced. Updated: 8/24/23. I just lodged a complaint with the BBB. In addition to all of this, I also paid for 2 day shipping to get much needed wicks in and now they are to arrive 8/28/23 (I placed the order 8/22/23). Again, unacceptable.

This is about a product from makesy my order no. Is #1027 it contained 3 bras it costs â¹1896 it was ordered on 11th July and there was no update at all. When I recieved the tracking number for order it said invalid tracking number. I thought it was a glitch or maybe a error and even after the wrong item was delivered it still said the same thing *"The package will be delivered within 5-7 days"*. I tried to contact the support email : growsu******@gmail.com and makesy email with which the order process complete was attached. Even now there is no reply from either emails. I have never experienced such terrible service and even after writing multiple emails I wrote a review on this app a few days ago which was condemned too by the makesy itself. Making a mistake is okay but not owning it and making up for it is even worse I'm never recommending or buying from this place at all. Terrible service from makesy and their support emails. Makesy is like your toxic ex
Once upon a time this company was called the wooden wick company and let me tell you. Makesy is like your toxic ex. I keep telling myself I won't buy from them again, but then they send a good deal and I'm like weeelllll okay one more try. They do good for 2-3 orders and then the same old crap. Now when I say the same old crap I mean three times they have shipped my orders late. Sometimes a month late. The first time it was late it was because they sold me items they didn't have in stock. The second time was because they took it upon themselves to attach all my wick clips to my wicks which I requested separate. Now we're at this time. I ordered 7/4. Have reached out multiple times and wait a day or so and get a response of "were working on it". So let's go back to my first experience when they were the wooden wick company. They did this very same thing for 3 weeks only to find out they didn't have the inventory. I've requested verification that the inventory I ordered 7/4 is available 3 times now. Still waiting on a response for that. I also made sure to request my clips not be attached to my clips. So I'm not sure what they're doing, but I sure do know what they're not doing. Shipping my order. I also asked what they would do to make this right and if they would at least over night my order since we are now on day 10 of their 3-7 business days processing time. They responded by offering me a $20 gift card. Since my order should have been delivered by now I find this unacceptable. If this was a delivery company issue it would be one thing but it's not. It's a Makesy issue. So and FYI to anyone considering purchasing on a sale, if you don't have a month worth of supplies order from another supplier because this company will absolutely prevent you from restocking. Doesn't matter if you've spent thousands of dollars with them. I know this because I stupidly have. But don't worry... they're working on it. ð
Small businesses - run far, far away!
Consistently terrible customer service + overpriced items that they donât even produce, they order out of China and upcharge them + out of stock often.
Twice they have been âaffected by their supply chainâ and had to push my order out by almost a month - after not telling me for days and days! No compensation for this either!! Just return or bust. There is no loyalty to customers who have been around, but you can âpayâ to get your items processed same day. Wow. No love for the actual small businesses, clearly. And if you donât want to dish out this astronomical fee, then you can wait 7 yes SEVEN BUSINESS DAYS for your items to even ship?? Garbage company. As soon as I can fulfill my last order with their products, I am OUT.

I really disappointed with the customer service. I placed my order April 17th and didn't receive it until April 30th. When I expressed these issues to Isidora in the chat her response was "I see, I'm sorry for the wait, however, your order was still fulfilled on time :)"
I asked how and she said, "We have a 3-7 business day lead time before orders ship out :)" My response to her was "The fact that you're making excuses for this has really showed what kind of company Makesy". This is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!

Really disappointed with customer service. As someone who spends thousands of dollars with Makesy, Iâm frustrated. I made an order on April 16, after seeing no movement on April 24 I emailed. Their response was if the order hasnât been fulfilled after 7 days they would expedite shipping. I said itâs been well over 7 days. And they responded 7 business days. So of course the next day the order is updated fulfilled so they can avoid expedited shipping. Why not just offer it when a loyal customer is requesting it when Iâve spent $1000 this month?

Greedy
They issue store credit only, which is an issue in and of itself but a minor one (although, I canât name any other retailers, even small businesses, that only offer store credit for ALL refunds theyâll allow). The worst part is actually that the customer service associates are rude. Also, theyâre of course very overpriced.
Spiral Wooden Wicks
The company is fin, however after spending $80+ on the spiral wooden wicks, I was left with disappointment after disappointment. The wicks are fragile, have to be shaped to fit into the clips and break easily with just a touch. Using wick trimmers, scissors and wire cutters per customer service, the still cracked and left my vessels useless and wasted wax (wax is from Europe and I am in USA, very expensive wax wasted). I don't know what to suggest, I can't leave a review on their website and the product just overall sucks. I have 80+ wicks that I don't want but also can't return. Trash experience and trash product.

I am really pleased with my entire makesy experience. Starting with the product I got and the price, which was really nice quality at a very fair price! When I received my glass domes and there was some breakage (through no fault of makesy as they were packed really nicely), they not only made it right, but the customer service folks I dealt with were so nice and friendly! I recommend them very highly!
