I wrote a review about this company back on the 13th October with regards to a purchase I made of some trainers off their website. At the time everything I said is what I believed but since I wrote that review and tried contacting them and sent a few emails a couple of things have happened.

I have ended up receiving the trainers I ordered on 3/11/22. This is after sending emails and trying to contact them and eventually going through PayPal to get my money back thinking I’ve been scammed. After going through PayPal I then got an email from someone at Martin valen apologising, asking me to retract my request through PayPal and they will sort it quicker, I didn’t because I didn’t trust them. I sent an email to them saying if everything they are saying is true to send the trainers as a good will gesture and I may start believing some of the things said, I got one back saying that as a good will gesture they would and sorry for everything. At this point I still didn’t have any hope in the slightest of getting the trainers but on the 3rd of November I did receive them. So I have to take back the ‘scammers’ name I was calling them as I have received the trainers now despite how I came to get them.

I sent them an email back saying I had received them and I sent some pointers as to going forward what I think they should do as a company and how they should be with regards replying to the customer and keeping in touch with the customer with regards their purchase, hopefully they will take everything on board so that this doesn’t happen again and the customer will be happy and they can still provide the items they have listed to sell on their website

Ich habe Ende Juli Schuhe bestellt für 100€, da ich zufällig im Internet darauf gestoßen bin - ein Fehler, der mir viel Zeit, Nerven und Geld gekostet hat.

Die Lieferung dauerte trotz angeblichen Expressversand 2 Wochen. Nach der lang ersehnten Zustellung die nächste negative Überraschung: Qualität der Schuhe passen nicht mal ansatzweise zum preislichen Verhältnis. Material sah extrem günstig aus und war zudem schlecht verarbeitet.

Die größte Unverschämtheit(en) erlebte ich dann jedoch im Rücksendeprozess. In der Sendung sind keinerlei Informationen zur Rücksendung beigelegt, weshalb ich mich an den Support gewendet habe, um zumindest eine Adresse zu erhalten. Die Antwort folgte mit der Möglichkeit, die Schuhe für den halben Preis doch zu behalten (!) oder sie auf eigene Kosten zurückzuschicken.
Ich habe mich für das Zurückschicken entschieden und die Ware am 9. August versandt. Eine Bestätigung, ob die Ware eingegangen ist, habe ich nicht erhalten, bis sich irgendwann Mitte September Klarna gemeldet hat mit der Aufforderung, die gesamte Summe zu bezahlen, weil der Shop trotz Nachfrage seitens Klarna behauptet, keine Retoure erhalten zu haben. Nachdem ich dann nach langem Suchen nach einer Telefonnummer beim Shop angerufen habe, teilte mir der ausschließlich englisch sprechende Support mit, dass sie nochmals nachsehen. Innerhalb von 3 Minuten (!) dann schon die offizielle Mail, dass die Retoure eingegangen ist und das Geld zurückgeschickt wird - seltsam.

Allerdings wurde auch dann nicht der gesamte Produktpreis zurückerstattet, wie es gesetzlich vorgegeben ist, sondern es wurden vom Produktpreis 9,90€ einbehalten als Kosten für den ersten Versand. Dieser wurde bei der Bestellung jedoch als kostenfrei angegeben, weshalb es nach meinem Wissen nicht rechtens ist, dass plötzlich Geld vom Produktpreis abgezogen wird. Sehr unseriös.

Nach Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Service kein Entgegenkommen oder Ähnliches.

Nie wieder.

SCAM and THIEVES, don't believe any positive reviews about them, they are probably false and fabricated. I wish I had read the reviews before.
I've ordered trainers and was really careful with the size. I picked a size UK 8, EU 42 and I received a size 6 UK, 36 EU, I can't even put a toe inside.
I contacted them via their website online form, and they got back to me saying they don't do exchange but for me to keep the shoes and they would offer me 30% off my next purchase. I replied I wanted a full refund and I would send the shoes back. They got back saying that I would spend too much money with customs fees, so I should keep the shoes and they would give me 50% off my next purchase. Unbelievable. I told them I wanted a refund and how and where should I send the shoes back.
They replied if that's what i wanted, they would refund the amount minus the amount they payed for shipping, gave me instruction on how to do it and the address. They gave me a German address, the parcel arrived here with stamps from Australia or something, not Europe (the prices are in euros).
I documented everything about the process, I took pictures of the parcel, the forms I filled at the post office, the number of the initial order, and the tracking service. I sent all this to them via the website. They said as soon as they receive the parcel, they would refund me.
They received it on the 28th/08 and today is the 9th/09, 12 days, and I haven't heard back from them.
I've sent them 4 messages during this week and pictures of the tracking website with proof of delivery and still nothing.
I will report this company to the British Metropolitan Police and I'm searching for an international organization that can go after these criminals.
I will go on social media and I will spread the word and I will not let his go. If anyone knows of any place I can also report them please let me know here. I will not contact them anymore but I will not forget.

I’m back to wire an update on these con artists.
After I’ve sent them proof of delivery of the parcel, they said they couldn’t find it in the wear house. They said I should contact the courier in Germany and ask for an investigation.
Obviously living in the UK it’s not easy to do that.
I was expecting that because of their modus operandi. I lost my money and didn’t get my shoes.
I’ve reported it to the courier, the bank and the post offices.

Word of advice to you all NEVER buy anything from them, you will be ripped off one way or another.

The world would progress if everyone worked with customers at least as close as your company does, congratulations.

Estoy muy contento con la atención recibida por el equipo de MartinValen en especial por la persona que lleva el Instagram oficial de la marca , ya que ha sido la persona con la que he estado hablando y me ha solucionado todas mis preocupaciones sin ningún tipo de problema, la verdad que ha sido súper atento y me ha explicado cualquier tipo de duda o curiosidad en el tema de las zapatillas, por lo que no puedo estar más contento con la marca, varios familiares ya tienen zapatillas de esta marca y ya tenia ganas de tener las mias, la verdad que las zapatillas son una maravilla. Volveré a comprar seguro.

Hab Schuhe bestellt, welche genau wie auf dem Bild angekommen sind. Größe war ganz normal. Trage in AirForce 44.5 und in den Martin Valens 44. Versand ging schneller als ich gedacht hätte per UPS. Natürlich ist das kein Echtleder Schuh, dafür ist er aber sehr gut verarbeitet. Staubbeutel ist ebenfalls dabei. Der Preis ist für manche Schuhe meiner Meinung nach etwas zu hoch dafür dass es kein echtleder ist, ist aber okay wenn man rabatt bekommt, sie im sale kauft oder wenn man sie wirklich unbedingt haben möchte.
