The worst customer service I have ever experienced with any car manufacturer. Serious and consistent training issues with their MINI ASSIST international. Wasting hours of International calls. No resolution offered despite investing hours in dealing with their consistent training issues.

I booked my car in for a review of service by Kwik fit (they couldn't take off brake pads need changing light & didn't have new windscreen wipers available)
The whole process was seamless at Berry Mini Croydon. With special thanks to Diane who was incredibly welcoming and very helpful. As a motability customer I need my car (getting a hand control car when yours is in for repair isn't easy) .
If you are looking for a mini, you can be sure that any repairs will be dealt with quickly and with individual care.

Bought a new mini electric thinking it…
Bought a new mini electric thinking it would at least do 120 miles on full charge - it is almost 6 months and I don’t get anymore than 90 miles on a full charge . This is severely restrictive and I find it difficult to drive for any reasonable distance esp motorways .
Took it to be looked at mini sidcup and and was told that the car purposely show a lower range to protect drivers - I told them not to insult my intelligence!! Complete useless service Dept at sidcup mini - did not even plug it in to check the mileage - just usual story that everything is ok including my brakes and suspension etc and the car will learn - they just wouldn’t listen to the fact that the car is not holding charge . DO NOT BUY THIS FOR ANY SERIOUS DRIVING.

I do feel very strongly to commend the service given to me when looking at acquiring a used Mini Countryman.
I had spent several weekS during early 2020 but the Corona control and restrictions slowed down any progress I tried various dealerships and independent agents.

The first lockdown curtailed our search but Kelly hadn't forgotten me. She continued our search saying I will find your special car.

Service pack scam
As with many reviews on here, cars are fine but customer service and service packs are awful. Do not bother with minis service pack as it’s a complete scam!
Always had service packs with every other car I’ve had and always had services taken care of as advertised. This isn’t the case with Mini, they sell you ‘servicing taken care of’ but will only do the bare minimum that the car needs instead of a full service each time. They also won’t remind you or prompt you when your service is due and if youre more than a month late (1000 miles) they won’t honour it at all!!
So £300 wasted plus cost of paying elsewhere for a service. In 3 years they’ve changed 1 filter that’s it.
Customer service always has queues and one department can’t talk to another you have to call each one in turn (apparently they can’t transfer). Good luck!

TLC service plan rip off
MINI, here is how to lose a customer!
Like so many other reviews, I have exactly the same issue. Looks like MINI UK is running a scam with their useless mis sold TLC service plans.
Apparently I didn't read the fine print for the TLC package I bought when purchasing my Mini in April 2018. I was mis-sold. The TLC package (£299) was added onto the purchase with the promise that servicing will be taken care of for the next 3 years.
All I got was ONE engine oil change worth £200.94 (according to Mini website) last year. This year the brake fluid needs to be changed which apparently is NOT part of the TLC and I have to pay on top. Why did I get the TLC then? Rip off!
Service lady Diane actually argued with me, questioning if other car brands would get you a better customer service and that it's not Berry's fault because the car was sold by Cooper Croydon. I simply do not care if it's Berry or Cooper or anyone else. I am a MINI customer which was mis-sold by MINI and their customer service is dismal and rather wants to argue my view points that I have lost trust in the MINI brand for the above reasons.
Had Nissan cars in the past which had a service pack as well. None of this drama. Servicing was taken care of with no extra costs and fine prints and free courtesy car while the car was in service. NOTHING of that you will get with Mini, which claims to be the premium brand. Not even a simple car wash which should've been complimentary was done, instead the car was returned with all the dusts and shoe marks inside.
Stay clear and make sure you read the fine print! Oh and my blood pressure after talking to Diane is still up - never had such a bad customer experience ever. To management: please feel free to listen to the phone conversation (if it even was recorded), I am not making this up, to realise what sort of employees you have got representing your brand.
The MINI brand has lost a customer today.
Poor customer service
I have had 5 minis and up until this last one have been totally satisfied with both the car and the customer service. However it would appear that familiarity does breed contempt. The customer service I received during the sale was lack lustre to say the least. It seemed the saleswomen wasn’t really bothered - take it or leave it attitude. I carried on because I did like the car. Unfortunately the car had a number of issues all of which Mini couldn’t identify or insisted they didn’t exist. The manager at Mini, Belmont Co Durham was arrogant, rude, obtuse and incompetent. Needless to say this will be my last mini and I would advise anyone thinking of getting a Mini not to go to the dealership in Belmont

I purchsed the car on line as with Covid I didn't want to go to the showroom it arrived with damaged wheels and no infotainment system working, no maps etc.
Mini UK customer services are shocking! Someone sitting at home sipping their tea tell me to just take it to a local dealer, that's it.

Just to update, 2 months on and Mini still cannot do anything about my cars lack of infotainment and sat nav, I paid extra for a premium pack but the dealer Mini Durham failed to install it and can't be bothered now! For god sake don't ever go near that dealer they are HOPELESS!!!! I will be selling my Mini asap and getting a car that actually has some backup!

MINI SERVICE tlc PLAN - Do NOT Buy
MINI SERVICE tlc PLAN - My car requires its first full service and is within the "3 years and 36 miles" comprehensive service period set by the tlc Plan. The information booklet states: "With MINI tlc you can relax in the knowledge that your comprehensive servicing needs are covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever milestone is reached first. That means parts, labour and fluids are covered to ensure peace of mind."
The garage and MINI customer complaints state I have to pay for my service ( referring specifically to brake fluid at a cost of £180 plus VAT - DN: an extortionate cost compared with competitors), stating the MINI tlc plan does not cover: "a full service"!!???? I have asked for a full response in writing, as there are no exclusions stating in any information I was provided with, when I purchased my new mini and MINI tlc contract. This is, in my opinion, a breach of contract. I was told I should refer to the T&Cs which are on-line? I was not referred to these T&Cs and/or they did not mentioned any MINI tlc exclusions, in any of the documentation, or verbally at the point of sale. The purchase of a new MINI and the benefits of a service plan was a factor in purchasing a new car. MINIUk misled me at the point of sale, their documentation is misleading and MINIUK therefore Mis-sold me a MINI tlc service plan. So when I get a reply ... if I am not satisfied with their response I will ask the Motor Ombudsman to look at this as it appears to be a common problem amongst Reviewers.

I originally went to Mini in Stockport and had the most uncomfortable uninterested service I have ever had, a showroom full of staff walking around and not one person asked if I was ok, needed help...zero help
Hence why I walked out and went to Robins & Day, we have specific requirements for a vehicle and they have helped all the way. For example I needed a car to test drive...Robins Day Stockport not a problem had it for an hour.....mini no you can’t have a car no you can’t test drive one!!

Hi, new Mini Countryman ordered through Coopers of Ipswich, lied too as the whereabouts of the car by the Brand manager who also lied to me about the delivery dates,eventually picked it up on June 9th. Took it back after 3 weeks as it kept cutting out, they drove it & said it was ok, took it back same problem & handbrake coming on whenever it felt like it. Had it a day , again gave it back saying if it happens again bring it back so took it back after further problems,Rac out twice told me not to drive it as its dangerous. Took it back Oct 5th to ne told no loan car available until the end of Oct so they sent me back out in a car that was dangerous, got the lease company involved (Motability) who cancelled the lease & told me to get anothe car, which i now have. The salesman was excellent but totally let down by the rude brand manager & useless service department

Tried to buy a mini countryman from specialist cars mini dealership in Luton. Liked the car but wanted to change the silver alloys to black
Got no response from my first e mail and after about 6 days followed it up with another e mail. Was told at first it couldn't be done. When I pointed out such alloys were available on the mini website under mini accessories I was then told it could only be done if you're buying a new car!! No more response from specialist cars who don't seem too bothered about selling cars.
Had a engine management light issue…
Had a engine management light issue which Fairfield Southend fixed on 10/06/2020.
Engine management light came back on but with temperature gauge and says 'Low'
I phoned Faifield Southend and received a unhelpful lady receptionist and was informed that if it was same issue then they would adjust cost. This is disgusting after 3 months and spending out over £600.
Was also told may need a diagnostic which would be £112.
I said I was too scared to drive it and then said I was a key worker.
Was then told that if a recovery then they was fully booked til end of October.
After my conversation with her. I am getting a new car and will not be a mini. If this is good customer service then it may need to be updated.
In the meantime my car will be resolved elsewhere.
