I was lucky enough to have Leah Saunders as my initial contact to guide me through the mortgage process before being transferred to Matt Odell as my mortgage advisor.
I can't fault Leah in any way at all - her customer service was second to none and she was always an absolute joy to speak with. She had the perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism and always went above and beyond to help in any way that she could - even if it meant listening to me rant on about solicitors driving me up the wall!
Leah regularly checked in with me to find out how things were going and showed genuine care and interest in my own personal circumstances and housing journey. I had mentioned that I found the process daunting and she was always reassuring and warm, never making me feel as though any question was too stupid. She was also brilliant with communication and correspondence - she'd reply very quickly to any queries and would always let me know when I could expect an answer back on anything to keep me in the loop of time scales. We got on so well that I genuinely got a little sad when I was told I'd be passed on to a different advisor for the next step in the process! However, though I haven't had my meeting with Matt yet, based solely on my conversations and interactions with Leah, I trust and have full confidence that he and the rest of the Mortgages First team will also provide a friendly, helpful and flawless customer service experience. I highly recommend Mortgages First!

My advisor Graham is fantastic and worth his weight in gold. He explained everything thoroughly and made me feel at ease. My mortgage application submission was really straightforward and my offer came through swiftly. My only negative comments would be about AHEAD of my mortgage appointment - I felt quite hounded by Charlie who I originally spoke to for a qualification and I really do not appreciate feeling pressurised. It was unnecessary bearing in mind I knew I wanted to deal with Graham for my application. It could well have put me off if I was less familiar with the company.
