rented a wheelchair in Puerto…

We rented a wheelchair in Puerto Vallarta. The total quote came without currency so I assumed it was pesos. It was US dollars. I’m from Canada. I could order 2 new chairs from Amazon for the price they were charging for 9 days rental. They take a deposit by card and the rest they want cash when they drop it off It’s nice they drop off and pick included in the price. I made the mistake of putting it on my debit card and they refuse to return my money, even though it was their fault and not stating the currency. I should have put it on my credit card so I could’ve reverse the charges. Need to say I refuse the chair and they took it back. When the delivery person showed me her invoice it stated US dollars. My receipt was exactly the same, except the currency was not stated.

We would like to clarify that the currency is always shown during the booking process on our website — it can be USD, EUR, GBP, etc. This information appears on the search results page, the booking page, and again on the final confirmation before payment. Additionally, the confirmation voucher sent to your email also specifies the currency.

If you had contacted our customer service before completing the payment, we would have been happy to assist you and clarify any doubts regarding the price or currency. However, the booking was confirmed online with all the information visible at the moment of checkout.

Regarding the refund, your reservation was made under a non-refundable policy established by the local provider, and once the service is confirmed, we must follow their terms and conditions. For this reason, and after reviewing the case, it was not possible to proceed with a refund.

We are very sorry for the misunderstanding and the frustration this caused. Our goal is always to make the rental process easy and transparent, and we will continue working to improve communication for our customers.

Excellent, professional and friendly service

We were offered different models at a range of prices. They delivered the very next morning. I needed an extra day an even on Xmas day they responded and accommodated me. Amazing service from start to finish.

Excellent team both online and onsite, prices are great. The service is incredible and reactive. I definitely will be using this site for my further needs, as it will simplify it traveling with my mother who needs access to wheelchairs in cities.

I recently hired a mobility scooter for my holiday at Disneyland Paris, and I can honestly say it made the entire trip absolutely magical. The company was fantastic from start to finish — super friendly, incredibly accommodating, and genuinely focused on making sure everything went smoothly.

The scooter itself was comfortable, easy to use, and had excellent battery life. I was able to enjoy full days in the parks without any worry about charging or getting around. It handled the crowds, the distances, and even the slightly uneven areas with no issues at all. Having it meant I could fully take part in the experience with my family instead of feeling limited or exhausted.

Delivery and pickup were prompt and effortless. Their customer service was honestly some of the best I’ve experienced — professional, kind, and genuinely caring.

If you’re visiting Disneyland Paris and need a mobility scooter, I can’t recommend this company highly enough. They helped turn my holiday into a stress-free, enjoyable adventure, and I’m so grateful for the freedom and independence their service provided. A truly five-star experience!

Buscábamos scooter de movilidad Disney

Buscábamos una scooter de movilidad para mi abuelo para Disneyland Paris y fue muy sencillo todo, y además la atención telefónica y después por whatsapp fue muy cercana y la verdad es que nos lo pusieron muy fácil. Es una plataforma 100% recomendable.

I hired a mobility scooter from…Motion4rent.

I hired a mobility scooter from Motion4rent from 28th October untill 7th November 2025. My flight was delayed from east midlands airport to Tenerife. We arrived at Tenerife about 15 to 30 minutes. Then we had to wait for the Glasgow flight, which was behind us. The hire firm closes at 17 00 ,so I thought I'd have to wait untill the next day, but I arrived at 17 10 pm. When I got off couch , they were waiting for me. So thankyou Motion4rent a I am very gratefull. ❤️

Absolutely horrendous service AVOID…

Absolutely horrendous service AVOID AVOID AVOID!!
Badgered to get the payment but then told they couldn't supply what I had paid for and told me AXSOL have the same scooter but required 450€ deposit which I refused to pay and then in the next email they said I didn't need to pay a deposit.
I was then contacted by AXSOL request payment of £220 - total £267 for 5 days and delivery to and from the hotel.
I was given a electric mobility scooter which was set up and plugged in when delivered to the hotel which was over 1 mile away from Disneyland Paris. When I came to use it, it had been charged over 24 hours in the main reception area where it had been delivered and it showed full charge.
I was then informed by the hotel reception that the electric mobility scooter was not allowed on the shuttle bus and I would need a taxi to the gates of Disneyland Paris, which was very frustrating as motion4rent and Axsol knew where I was staying and that buses would not allow scooters but Axsol and motion4rent pushed for payment regardless. So not to feel like i was being a burden to my family I paid not knowing what was ahead of me!!!.
When we all prepared to travel the mile or so to Disneyland Paris, which made me feel empowered and this would be a positive experience and not negatively impact on my family or our Disney experience, so travelling from our hotel, I sat on the scooter and followed the path for approximately 700 meters with my family walking along side and very quickly we noticed the battery had gone down to amber - half the battery was used going that short distance. We then had to turn around and go back to the hotel which obviously took time to return and upset my 11yr old and 9yr old grandchildren and delayed the start of our Disneyland Paris experience by a few hours. The battery was completely dead by the time we got to the reception and the scooter had to be left abandoned in an awkward position due to power failure.
I contacted both companies and motion4rent told me I needed to contact Axsol, who phoned me a few hours later asking me to 'tweak' the scooter as In their words, there're a few things you need to 'tweak' on that scooter. I said I wasn't there to 'tweak' as I was on holiday and not wasting more time on a piece of equipment that is not fit for purpose which was back at the hotel and not currently with me due to power failure.
I was told a technician was going to the hotel to check out the scooter, I said I no longer had faith in the company and their unreliable equipment and wanted it removed, and no longer required it, and requested a refunded for the rental.
They refused completely, after several hours Axsol said we have checked it and there's nothing wrong with it - making out I'm a liar, which I am not.
Motion4rent kept saying they could only refund if Axsol agreed.
I no longer trusted their equipment to not fail me again when we tried using it to go to Disneyland Paris, I'm thankful I didn't get a taxi with the scooter to Disneyland Paris as I would have been stranded, and on top of that, they said I need to charge the battery at lunchtime BUT there is nowhere to charge a scooter in Disneyland Paris that we could see. I feel I was completely taken advantage of, knowing I was disabled and needed this equipment to enjoy my family holiday, motion4rent took advantage of my vulnerability and took my money with no regard for my welfare or safety.
Absolutely disgusting, I communicated with them both constantly for days just to be constantly told you need to charge the scooter, when it had charged for 24 hours, set up by the delivery technician for Axsol. I have no idea what else they wanted me to do!!!
I also spoke to the hotel receptionist and two different managers who could not confirm anyone from AXSOL had even attended the hotel to look at the scooter. I also had to apologise daily for the scooter being sat in the lobby of the hotel as I just could not trust the scooter to not fail on my again and struggled on using my walking aid which has impacted on my mobility, hands and shoulders during the holiday but was a safer and more reliable option even if extremely uncomfortable.

Motion4rent was the company who I contacted and paid for the hire and they decided to subcontract this hire to a horrendous cowboy company - Axsol Shame on you all.

****Not interested in your feeble excuses. I trusted you both not to fail a vulnerable disabled person who was looking forward to enjoying a holiday of a lifetime with my family and I was completely taken advantage of by you and AXSOL even when I requested my refund for the equipment failing and was refused by you both - I also requested the scooter was removed as I didn't have time to loose every day with a failing battery, I was completely ignored.
I GOT A FULL REFUND FROM THEM BOTH AS I WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG

In this case, the rental was managed by our local partner Axsol, who is responsible for equipment delivery, maintenance, and technical support in the Disneyland Paris area.

You booked a maxi scooter, and the same model was provided to you. To facilitate your rental and avoid cancellation, Motion4rent covered the security deposit with Axsol on your behalf. We truly tried to do our best to make your booking possible and to support you during your vacation.

However, it is the customer’s responsibility to verify whether the local transport options (such as buses or cars) can accommodate a scooter and whether charging facilities are available at the hotel or destination. Motion4rent’s role is to connect customers with local suppliers, while the local collaborator is responsible for the condition and performance of the equipment and the local service provided.

We completely understand your frustration regarding the battery performance and transportation limitations around the park. Your feedback highlights that accessibility and charging information should have been communicated more clearly, and we take this seriously.

We are already reviewing this incident internally with Axsol to understand what happened and to prevent similar issues in the future. According to their report, the scooter was checked and confirmed to be in good working condition, but we will continue to follow up on this matter.

Please rest assured that we value every customer and never intend to cause any distress or inconvenience. Our customer care team will reach out to you again to review your case and ensure it receives proper attention.

Excellent experience with Motion 4 rent…

Excellent experience with Motion 4 rent in Barcelona. Rented a manual wheelchair online and when we arrived at our hotel in Barcelona, it was waiting in the reception for us. Saved so much time and hassle and although it’s more expensive than going to an orthopedics store and renting ourselves, the time saved and ease of transaction was worth it. We will rent from this company again!

Motion4rent es un intermediario que tiene colaboradores que son los que ponen los scooter de alquiler. Motion4rent resolvió el incidente que tuve al alquilar un scooter, me querían cobrar un dinero extra por entregarme el scooter en el hotel. Como su publicidad decía que esa entrega y recogida en el hotel no tenía coste alguno, les dije que no quería el scooter. Finalmente me ofrecieron la entrega y recogida en el hotel sin coste alguno, como ponían en su publicidad.

Brilliant service

Brilliant service. We used this service for a cruise from Barcelona. The wheelchair was delivered directly to our cabin and was then collected from the cabin with no hassle at all. The wheelchair itself was comfortable and in great working order. It really made a difference to our holiday and if we needed this service again we would not hesitate to use them again.

Sent a reservation

Sent a reservation, and after 2 minutes they calles me and said they could deliver me a wheelchair within The hour and they did. Grest wheelchar and they picked it jo late friday evening so we could enjoy our last day in Benidorm. So thank you, motion4rent saved our trip for Grandmother

Quality product and excellent communication throughout the process

Due to a broken foot we unexpectedly need med to hire a wheelchair chair for the duration of our stay in Türkiye. The service we received from Motion4Rent was excellent, we could not have asked for more. They were extremely responsive to messages before and during the booking process, when I made an error on the booking they helped me to correct it. We used the delivery to accommodation option, with different addresses for drop off and pick up, it worked seamlessly. The driver messaged us when they were close so we could meet them outside the Airbnb for the delivery and pick up, and they arrived in the requested time window. Communication is so important and the communication with this company was all I could as for. The wheelchair that we hired was exactly as ordered and in new condition.
