The day we agreed collection of car Range Rover Evoque. I discovered that the front underneath the vehicle had been damaged. Obviously I was not to prepare to accept the vehicle in this way. I then had to arrange a date for the repairs to take place this caused great inconvenience and certainly below standards when buying a new vehicle from motor point. In the meantime of when motor point was sorting out the previous problem in this 3day period
2x key fobs flashing low battery
The following day whilst driving a warning sign flashed
Diesel exhaust fluid low refill
Check tyre pressure add air
As you can clearly see this vehicle had not any maintenance and certainly not been checked over.
When I took my vehicle in for the repairs I dropped off at 8.30am through the letterbox a journey of over 40 miles.
I waited around for a phone call from Portsmouth however nothing happened so I had to phone at 13.30 only to be told my vehicle would not be ready for a couple of days. This left me in a terrible situation and the only open solution was to get the train home. Hearing nothing I was really surprised when I got a text late Wednesday afternoon from Mr Finlay Harrison informing that the vehicle was ready for collection. I had been left without a vehicle for 4days.
I am very disappointed with your after care service when I walked into Portsmouth Motor point I was greeted by helpful polite staff. I found your aftercare service to be shabby and the staff very dismissive.
In exhaustion of trying to deal with Portsmouth branch I called Derby who said they would send a email to Portsmouth highlighting the faults in my vehicle the person who I spoke to at Derby agreed that the service I received was below standard
As you can see from this complaint my vehicle was never checked over before being parked on the forecourt and in fact this vehicle carried many faults
I would also like to point out your promise that all vehicles leaving the forecourt left with at least a 1/4 tank of fuel this was not the case
I have been left with a bad feeling about motor point broken promises and very poor customer after care.

Took a week then went have a look and bought it , As described brand new !

I had a wonderful experience at motorpoint. From having a wide choice to making the best choice. My great experience was made possible by Charlie, starting from welcoming I and my partner warmly, explaining all the information we needed excellently and explicitly, working with our options and being flexible with it, and to driving my car home with no stress. The price was good, i got value for money. I am glad I met Charlie on the first day at motorpoint. I am enjoying my car.

Very personalised Service. Extremely helpful. Polite & courteous. Good customer service before and after purchase. The young lad Harley, who is a trainee, was very helpful and what he wasn’t sure of he asked his superiors I.e. Charlie. From the moment of enquiry we were kept up to date with emails. The prices are also very competitive with the market today. This is a very recent purchase so hopefully the good customer service continues.

Process straight forward online with a wide range of cars with low mileage. Pick up organised with pleasent staff who transferred DVLA paperwork with no issues. However, need to improve the check list process at handover, dispite stating items had been done prove not to be correct i.e, service done by Motorpoint, but service book not stamped, service log not cleared on car computer, locking wheel nut supplied dispite being told it was. That said issues resolved, but should have not been an issue by closer checking.

This was the second time that I purchased my car from Motorpoint. I wanted to appreciate all the support that I received from both Motorpoints branches in Derby and Portshmouth. My Nissan Xtrail had to move from Derby to Portsmouth. Because of a few days dely, they waived the transport charge which i really appreciate it. In Portsmouth, everything was very smooth both for part exchange and also collecting my new vehicle. After I got my new car, the sales person who was a lovely lady, contacted me and booked an MOT for my car which will be due in less than three months. All charges including the MOT and services will be paid by Motorpoint. I strongly recommend Motorpooint to everyone because of their high quality cars, great prices, and also great support after sale.
