My mother has Dementia, it is a relatively new condition, and is as frightening, not only for her, but for the wider family members. She is a current resident at Moundsley Hall Care Village, Kensington House, and they are the finest establishment we could have asked for. They are invested in not only the physical wellness of a resident, but also the soul aspects. I have worked at Moundsley hall for 6 years and started as a care assistant for 4 years until I joined the activities team in 2022. The residents make my day and the staff are friendly and helpful, we are one big moundsley hall family! I love my job, making the residents sing, dance, laugh and smile and enhancing their day-to-day life is something to be proud of. I feel I am supported in my job role by management and the office team too.

I joined the village over 12 years ago and have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the company. They are a very supportive team, every role is respected and all employees have a voice. I am proud to be part of the Moundsley family.

The staff work very well together and I always feel supported. Staff care well for the residents and are always willing to help. I definitely recommend anyone who is thinking of a career in care to apply here as it is very rewarding and with potential career progression you really can’t go wrong.
