Ordered Nectar Hybrid mattress onâŠ
Ordered Nectar Hybrid mattress on January 22, 2023 with a promised delivery in 1-3 days. We rec'd the free pillows/sheets bundle, but, we still haven't rec'd the bed! It is FEBRUARY 27, 2023!
I have 35 emails in my email account that correspond with 'sleep specialists' and nectar codes to access my account. Talked into not canceling a few times. When I finally said enough, I was told that I would not be refunded until the bed, which was in transit, was returned to the fulfillment center. I said that was unacceptable and after asking to speak with a manager a few times, I was told that my money was 'just released' back into my account. Guess what. It wasn't. And, I received another tracking # from fed-ex that showed another mattress was on its way. OMG! What a scam! They used my money without permission. This is theft! It was supposed to arrive today at the end of the day. Well, it's 7:36 pm, and it's not here. (I did call them on February 25 and told them if the bed did in fact arrive today per tracking info, I would keep it.)
One of the specialists said that the 1-3 day shipping offer didn't apply to the Hybrid bed. Really? That's what the confirmation email and one of the other 'specialists' said!
Don't buy Nectar via an airline shopping portal
I ordered a Nectar mattress via the United Mileage Plus shopping portal which I use often so know very well how it works. Nectar never credited the miles, promised to sort the issue out but after a lengthy email back and forth stopped responding. This is cheating basically.
The mattress itself is just okay. The free pillows and a set of bedding that come as a "gift" and are valued by Nectar at $499 are of extremely poor quality.
I will never buy from them again.

Case of the split king crappy mattresses and adjustable frame
My Husband and I bought 2 TWINXL mattresses in April 2019 and I had to call in to tell them to come back and pick up my mattresses because it wasnât comfortable and in transit one of the mattresses covers was cut. So instead of spending me two complementary pieces of memory, foam and one mattress cover, they sent me one of each??!! This has made my bed lopsided so when I called in and told them of their mistake, they told me that they was not going to send out another piece of foam so my bed is uneven. Because they didnât want me to send back the mattresses because they were uncomfortable. They were supposed to send me two large pieces of memory foam, I have their split king and the split adjustable bases (so I have two twin XL mattresses ) one of them has a big rainbow crater in it the one without the extra memory foam, and the memory foam that they sent me is yellow and blue. My mattress covers have been on my bed since the day that I got them, the only thing that touches the mattress is the different colored foam that they sent me now my whole bed is clean, but there is one spot on my mattress that will not come off from that piece of memory foam. My mattresses are still under warranty. The spot was cleaned and it will not remove, but I have two mattresses, they donât want to change out the one without the stain so my experience with nekter has been very bad I would never spend another red cent with them do not buy nectar crappy mattresses. They donât stay comfortable everything goes to crap shortly after you start sleeping on them and they donât want to make good , on their garbage mattresses, thatâs why they donât stand behind them. and they give you these memory foams that are full of colors and then put spots on your mattress and then that way they can say will weâre not taking that mattress back because it has a stain on it which their merchandise put the stain on the mattress. I bought all of their stuff to protect my mattress, and the one thing they gave me put a stain on my mattress and they want to ignore it and act like Iâm the one that did it thatâs just the way for them to cop out so they donât have to replace my whole king size bed but they donât even wanna change the mattress that doesnât have a spot on it I bought two mattresses two movable frames which are garbage the mattress is constantly come apart so my king size bed does not stay together. We constantly have to keep pushing the mattresses back together donât buy nectar, crappy, mattresses, and crappy, nor split bed frames for the split King, I should say the very flawed design on them only has a guard for the mattress at the foot of the bed. There is nothing on either side to keep the mattresses together , donât buy their split king. You will be highly pissed off and upset because y weâre constantly have a mattress dance where you have to keep pushing your two mattresses together. And I professionally clean the spot. The rest of the bed is pristine white. The one spot that is on my mattress came from their product that they sent me. this is how theyâre getting out of replacing my mattresses, but they will not replace both of the mattresses. Nor the one without the spot! I told them OK so letâs address the mattress that doesnât have the spot. Surely you can replace that one and they just stop talking to me.??!!! This is a company that knows that they have garbage products thatâs why they donât stand by them!!
Lumpy middle
Purchased my Nectar King size mattress 18 months ago, the last few months both myself and my partner noticed a clear devide between us which seemed to make us both roll to the outside edge. It is not comfortable to sleep on any longer so got in touch with Nectar who send someone round to look and we have been told it's within acceptable parameters. Will be getting rid as its not comfortable and buyers beware don't fall for the lifetime guarantee as its actually worthless

I ordered a mattress and bed frame and because I thought it would be helpful I bought the $200 for in home setup mainly for the frame since the mattress comes in a box. I figured out a few hours later that I actually didnât need the bed frame and so the next morning (within 12 hours of the purchase) I called the company and asked for them to cancel that item and the $200 for the in home service. I had received a confirmation email after the purchase that said the in home service would only be non-refundable after shipping. I sent the customer service rep proof of this email and he said he would call me back within the hour once he had approval for the canceled item and refundable in home service charge.
Because I was at work, I missed the call back and upon returning their call the new rep that I spoke to told me there was actually a problem with the processing of my payment and the whole order was not going to go through. I pointed out that the charge was still pending on my credit card and he said it would be gone within 24 hours. I checked after 24 hours and the entire payment had gone through so I called back once again only to have the 3rd customer service rep tell me that the $200 was absolutely not refundable because in their system the item was considered âshippedâ since immediately upon payment, a shipping label is created in their system and the product marked off for shipping in their warehouse. I told them to instead keep the $200 and refund me the entire order of over $2k in merchandise to which the rep didnât try and apologize or talk me out of it.
Literal and complete BS, thatâs not the actual definition of shipping and this company seems to be out to just make whatever money they can. I will be leaving this review wherever I can to try and help others from having the terrible experience I did.

I have never received worse customer service in my life. I donât typically complain or write reviews, but people should be made aware that this company will not stick to their word. My husband was having back pain because the mattress was too soft for him. I reached out to customer service to return it (before my 365 days was up). The employee said she would send me a mattress topper to see if it would fix the issue and extend my one year return period an additional six months. I have the entire chat log documented. We used the topper for about a month to see if it helped his back. He is sleeping on the couch again as the mattress is still too soft. I reached out to customer service and was told that I am past my one year return period and that they will not honor the additional six months I was promised by their employee.. stating that the employee accidentally added the additional six months to a different order. I sent them the chat logs as proof and they did not care. So, because an employee made a mistake or promised something they shouldnât have, resulting in me not returning the mattress for another few months, I -am the one stuck with this mattress. The customer service with this company is the worst I can ever remember detailing with.

Well I ordered my nectar mattress before seeing the reviews on here. The only thing I can surmise about the bad reviews is most are from Covid era when everything was a mess. I ordered my mattress on Tuesday and after a one day delay because of a FEDEX truck breakdown, I received it on Thursday afternoon. That's right, it arrived in 3 days. After removing the plastic wrap the mattress grew to finished size in just a few hours. That night I slept so comfortably, it was so much nicer than my old conventional pillow top mattress. The quality of the materials seems very good. I didnt' order anything else with it. Those may be the cause for some of the negative reviews. My experience has been very good , with no issues. I am giving them top marks and would highly recommend. I do only weigh 170 pounds so if you are much heavier then that , you may have a different experience.

Scam from the start. How do companies like this even exist in today's connected world. Clicked on an ad while searching for a new mattress but the price was a little high. When I started to leave the website a "wheel of fortune" popup appeared. I won 33% off! Now I'll take it! But it wouldn't give it to me. There was no coupon code and it just said it was already applied. However, the only thing applied was a discount off the "original price," which could be totally made up. Doesn't matter. I just won another 33% off. But no, not according to customer service. "We can't stack discounts." But I just won 33% off! It's like going to a casino and spinning the wheel, winning the jackpot and then saying, "We're not going to honor that." Craziness.
So glad I didn't complete the purchase after reading these reviews!

I SHOULD OF AVOIDED! Well had my second inspection on the mattress last week! And once again nice chap said unfortunately it's passed the test (but yes it's dipping more on one side!?) My point exactly hence the call to get you out! The mattress is two years old but my partners side looks & feels like it's 10years old! I've contacted nectar again about this but from what I'm reading I think I'm going to have a fight on my hands!
So basically....... save yourself a whole load of money & hassle! AVOID NECTAR!

Nectar sleep is a scam of a company. From day one I had an issue with my mattress. The mattress sunk tremendously and I myself and my young child had to seek medical attention on several occasion. I reached out to customer support and they stalled and at times ignored my emails. I purchased âinsuranceâ for the mattress but that was pointless. They claim to have a âlifetime warrantyâ however itâs so agonizing to get a replacement. Itâs been two years and my issue has not been resolved. This company is trash.

Almost a month. Still not delivered. They keep telling me it has been. Almost $1000 on a box bed that I am apparently not getting. Their customer service people are not helpful. FedEx is not helpful. Terrible experience all around and very upset about the money I do not have for something I did not get.

We purchased our King nectar mattress and frame December of 2019 from Katapult for $1300 and it was not bad at first but as time went on the mattress got less and less firm and doesnt support like when new. Now over 2 years later it's just uncomfortable. Also to mention the frame is cheap paper thin aluminum the middle section started folding in and broke after about a year and had to cut some 2x6 and place under to support the bed and me and my wife are not overweight I'm 6 foot 215 punds she's 5 7 about 150 pounds. Now just yesterday the frame came appart in the middle and it was not from being lose. The bolts wore through where it recesses into the frame and came appart. I am a mechanic and it was put together as it should. Now we half to go get another bed that we really can't afford at the moment. I would not recommend them and this is being as honest as can be about the whole experience.

Defective mattress, horrible customer service
Sent me a defective mattress and then wasted an hour of my time on the phone trying to get a replacement. They claim they didnât revive the photos I sent them of the defect (mattress has barely expanded after five days). They say theyâll call me back but havenât. Iâm a disabled veteran with two blown discs awaiting back surgery and have had nowhere to sleep for five days now.

First mattress, after a few months big dip, falling out of bed, very painful Iâve got Fibromyalgia.
Had to fight for a replacement, weâre insisting on an inspection mid COVID restrictions and Iâm extremely clinically vulnerable. Told them Iâm not risking my life, and they finally sent a replacement.
BUT..just under 6 months same defect appeared. Man came and did âtestsâ by squashing mattress with hand and taking pictures and lying on it - no measuring visible in photos - extremely dirty hands no gloves - Iâm still extremely vulnerable to COVID and other viruses- they said PPE would be used⊠COMPLETE NONSENSE. We failed test ð€Šð»ââïž Surprise surprise. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY. LIFETIME WARRANTY MEANS NOTHING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE donât read your emails, their responses are cold, un compassionate, unprofessional, unhelpful and insulting to us when they should be thanking us. Iâll be pursuing compensation through our legal system; they took our £899 and we have NOTHING to show for it

I would give it no stars if this was an option. This company offers a forever warranty which is totally worthless. After reading the other negative reviews we all are experiencing the same problems. After a short while, the mattress is uncomfortable, lumpy and made of poor quality materials. The cover has ripped in the corners so is not robust enough to withstand a weekly bedding change to lift and tuck under a fitted sheet. I have had two inspections carried out by Homeserve who have carried out a minimal 10 minute test involving a quick lay on and measuring the dip. How are you supposes to judge a mattress in 10 minutes?! And obviously not interested. My advice is DO NOT BUY!! I shall be taking this matter further.
