I do not understand how a large company would not donate a bed to a 100% disabled veteran who sleeps on an inflatable bed. Also, veteran who does not currently have the money to purchase an adjustable bed because her daughter is winning (speaking lufe) against Stage 4 Brain Cancer. Instead you offered a 5% discount, which is sad.

I have purchased two platform beds from nectar. The first lasted around a year. The second replacement after sending many photos, etc. to them, lasted literally one week past the two year warranty. Metal sheered right off the frame. I called, and they were asking for again numerous photos and it was going to be a whole process. Just make a good product.
The warranty is a scam
The warranty is a scam! They say a lifetime warranty but it's not true, they will get out of it somehow. If the base breaks they don't have parts to fix it and the mattress they will say there is a stain and so it's not covered even if it's a small mark that's not even going through the liner.
Buyer Beware Is An Understatment
So, I clearly did not come here to read the reviews about this company, because if I had, I would have been aware of the nightmare that was in store for me and would have completely avoided writing this review.
At the beginning of October, I experienced the worst week of sleep I've ever had. I'd had my bed for over a decade, so I knew I needed another one. However, as a broke millennial with chronic pain issues, where was I going to find the $14k for the Tempur-pedic bed suggested by my care team and support group -- I found it, but it was painful to do so. However, before I found it, I went online and found several companies that deliver box beds, and I went with Nectar due to the price and the fact that it is owned and backed by the parent company of Ashley Home Furniture -- which ultimately helped exactly zero.
I explicitly wanted white glove service that included them putting together the bed and taking out the old mattress. I was told I could add that on at the end of my order... that was not the case, so I started the process of canceling my order online. I couldn't! I had to call and go through a 30-minute conversation explaining my disability. It turns out that for the service I was asking for, I had to call them, get my order canceled, get a link to a new order, and respond to that link within 24 hours before it expires. I told them "no, thank you," I would just go to the store. They refunded the order, yet they kept sending me items from it anyway! Mind you, this is all within 72 hours. So, 1.5 stars for fast delivery, I guess.
During this time, I ended up financing the $14k for a modified version of the suggested bed, and I am hoping to get a portion reimbursed from my FSA/HSA. However, in the meantime, I was told by Nectar to decline the delivery of the items. I asked when the items would be delivered, because who works from home now? All I got was a shrug and sometime this week or next. I was not, in fact, home when the items dropped, so I emailed and called and was given instructions on how to return the items, which were completely erroneous per the delivery service. I kid you not that I spent almost a full month playing phone tag between Nectar and the delivery service.
I legitimately held the items in my house and on my porch (as requested by Nectar) for two months, and I sent three letters requesting pickup and confirmation, then finally just saying the matter was closed. The usable items are currently being donated because I have zero need for any of these.
Customer service is non existent
I purchased a Nectar Premier Full mattress along with the adjustable bed base and remote directly from Nectar. The remote and the bed do not work, and despite multiple attempts to contact customer service, I have received no response and resolution.
I simply need a working product or a prompt replacement under the warranty. It is extremely frustrating to have no support after spending this much money and trusting the brand. I am a senior and do not recommend that seniors work with this online company.
Buy from another company
Ordered a mattress that said was in stock. 30 days passed and mattress was not shipped. Called and was informed that mattress was out of stock and would not be refilled. They didn't care about the inconvenience. Have never written a negative review, but this has been the worst customer experience. Highly recommend purchasing a mattress somewhere else to save you the headaches.
Beware of nectar’s mattress
I just received this mattress that I ordered and paid almost $1400.00 for. Upon opening it, I found out that it was all flat and won’t rise all the way as it’s supposed to. I say that because I noticed the sides are hard and its middle is bulky. It’s was too much money for it to be a bad expenditure. To top it all off, I was on hold today for almost an hour just to speak to customer service. When I finally got connected. The person on the phone didn’t care at all about my issue and acted like it was no big deal. He asked me to just get rid of the defective mattress and that he will give me a $50.00 discount which was an insult. My inconvenience is definitely worth more than what he offered. I am very disappointed. He didn’t even try to expedite the product when I asked him.
Failure to issue refund
I filled a formal complaint against Nectar with the BBB & NC Attorney General for failure to issue a promised refund.
I returned 2 mattresses (1 was defective & the other was too soft for my husband) within the 365 trial period. I had to purchase the 2 replacements but was assured a refund for both once the return process was complete. I was advised by Nectar that the refunds were processed, twice. More than one month has passed, and the refund has not been received. I have contacted Nectar multiple times by phone and email. Each time, I am given a different explanation or told the issue is pending with their payment processor (Stripe), with no resolution or clear timeline.
Nectar has now requested documentation from my bank proving the refund was not received, which I have provided. Despite this, the refund remains outstanding. This prolonged delay has caused unnecessary inconvenience and credit card interest charges.

The collapsed foundation
In July 2021 (when last part of shipment arrived), we purchased a memory foam mattress & foundation frame from Nectar Sleep. There were a couple other add-ones not relevant to this review/rating. The mattress was/is fine, not outstanding. But the frame just collapsed (in less than 4 1/2 years). While we recognized it was cheaply made plastic material, we never thought there would be an issue anything like this, especially so soon. Our respective weights? I’m moderate; my wife is light.
When I contacted the company, they responded (professionally) that they couldn’t help us but would be happy to ship us a replacement which we would have to pay for.
Their answer was unacceptable; they’re not standing behind the product they sell (how could they? it was cheaply made).
I cannot recommend this company due to their poor product offering & inadequate customer service response.

VERY POOR service trying to receive my mattress. going on over two weeks trying to get my mattress and still not mattress. They blame third party shipping company and shipping company said never received the mattress. VERY INEPT!!!! company and I wonder how their product really is.
Ordered 3.5 weeks early, still sleeping on an air mattress
I ordered a mattress on November 11th, giving myself plenty of lead time before moving. What followed was the worst delivery experience I've ever had.
The mattress never arrived. After waiting, I had to call and request a trace investigation myself — no proactive updates from Nectar. They eventually located it and attempted delivery, but never called or emailed me. Because my name wasn't on the condo directory (I'm a renter, not the owner), they returned the mattress with no option to pick it up. Again, I received zero notification about any of this.
I called again to find out where my mattress was, and explained I now needed it shipped to my new address. I was assured it would arrive within 6 days. The day before it was supposed to arrive, I called to confirm — and was told actually, it would be 3 more days.
When I expressed frustration, the customer service rep tried convincing me I should be grateful they were shipping it as fast as they could. Grateful? I ordered this 3.5 weeks ago. I didn't order on November 30th expecting December 9th delivery — I planned ahead and Nectar failed at every step.
Most companies offer a full refund if delivery isn't completed within the promised timeframe. Nectar offered excuses and attitude.
In total, I called 4 times. Every trace, every update, every correction only happened because I initiated it. At no point did Nectar proactively track or communicate about my order.
I'm now sleeping on an air mattress because I trusted this company to deliver on time. Save yourself the headache and order elsewhere.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE NECTAR EXPERIENCE
Absolutely horrible experience from start to finish! The signs of the coming abysmal failure started with placing our order. It appeared the service representative was on the job training (OJT), but we persevered to complete our order -King, Queen, two full-size beds, and four nightstands. We also paid for the so-called "white glove service (WGS)". HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE experience. The first day the WGS arrived, they arrived with missing parts for ALL beds. The next day, the WGS arrived with a poor attitude and still missing parts to complete our order. They left partially opened boxes and screws in the master and guest bedrooms- a colossal mess in our new home! Next came the challenge of repeatedly dealing with customer service, aka "Sleep Specialists". Be afraid because sleep specialists they are not! They do attempt to present as charming and helpful, but to a person, they are woefully undertrained and not at all skilled to provide any meaningful assistance. They all appear to have fake names, too, like Honey, Jenifer, Nino, Jade, and Wilma, but the voices and dialects do not match. One promising event is that we received an opportunity to rate our interaction with the Sleep Specialists. You can guess how that went! To resolve the matter with our beds, Nectar offered to reship the missing items and to "handsomely" compensate us for their "abysmal failure." Clearly, our view of handsome compensation and Nectar's is not aligned. We eventually got transferred to a "Survey Specialist" who appeared up to the task of resolving our situation. Our hopes were immediately dashed when we reviewed the replacement parts lists. Another abysmal failure with the entire list being wrong, and this after I emailed the list of missing items, along with the Hub Group manifest, missing parts statement, and photos of the colossal mess left behind by the WGS teams. We ultimately hired a general contractor with the requisite talent to build the missing bed parts and order the missing hardware to complete the two-drawer nightstands. BTW, the Nectar Survey Specialist would subsequently declare that Nectar did not have the hardware to send for the Nightstands. I will let you know how our pursuit of an equitable refund goes in a later review.
Caused severe back pain
I purchased my Nectar mattress in March 2023, and unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing. Within a short time, the mattress began causing severe back pain and has shown a noticeable loss of firmness, despite being advertised as supportive and long-lasting.
Nectar sent someone to “inspect” the mattress, but the assessment felt superficial and I was told everything was “fine,” even though the problems persisted. I’ve tried using a board underneath as well as a mattress topper, and none of these solutions resolved the issue — the mattress is simply not performing as advertised.
After dealing with the discomfort and lack of support, I looked into other customer experiences and found that many people have had similar issues with sagging, heat retention, and firmness not matching the description. I also noticed many reviews mentioning poor customer service, and my own experience reflects this. Getting proper help or escalation has been frustrating and unproductive.
For the price and the promises made, this mattress has been a major letdown. I’m still left with daily back pain and no real resolution from Nectar. I cannot recommend this product based on my experience.

I purchase an adjustable bed frame from Nectar Sleep the worse investment ever .
I purchase adjustable bedframe Lux I paid over a thousand dollars for this bed frame the bed fame only has left side massage no massage on the right at all and none on the bottom either side..
I'm 71 years old this was suppose to be my dream bedframe its a piece of junk ,,The motor on the massage is so loud on the massge if you are watching Tv you have to turn the volume up on the tv,
Nectar sent a gentleman to see if anything needed repairs the young man told me mama you have been ripped off big time.
I have contact Nectar over and over regarding this matter I was told it was to late to return this bedframe and get my money and the only I could do was to contact this name and number to a company they recommended .
I have been ripped off by Nectar over $1000.00 for a bedframe..on the left side massages the right side not at all or the bottom of this bedframe...
I call them they are give me other contact numbers to call that their dam job..
Most of the sales representatives dont speak English florently..

I’m finally at my wits end with this mattress company we had to send back the first mattress we got after they lied to us and told us how great it would work. We’ve got these split king adjustable mattress, which would not stay together was all over the place and horrible so we sent that back and we wanted the same mattress but in in Cal King so the cow King was not available. They said it would be available likely within a month or so so they sent us the next mattress down, which is so uncomfortable, we have taken to not even sleeping in our own bed as the mattress is unusable it’s like sleeping on a bowl of mush! Yet the other mattress is still not available and now we’re stuck with this awful mattress! And they will do absolutely nothing for us. We will have to resort to just sending this thing back and getting a mattress from some of other company. I was optimistic. I’m no longer optimistic. Now I’m jaded and upset. I don’t recommend this company and if they ever do something for us and it ends well I will amend this review!

They promised that the mattress would ship in 2 to 3 business days. It has been 10 days and there has been no movement or shipment. When I called, they gave me the same information that is available on the website. There are no US based customer support agents. It is all outsourced.
Delivery late and whit glove would not install
Delivery was delayed by a week. When they finally contacted me they gave me one time slot with not a single other option two days later so you cannot have a job. Paid $200 for the white glove service for one person to show up and say they cannot install it. They left with everything and now I am fighting for a refund. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Do yourself a favor and don’t buy from Nectar
While I’m sure Nectar’s offerings are competitive in their price range, their customer service, in my recent experience, is so incredibly incompetent (at best) that I recommend never buying their product. Essentially, as a Mother’s Day gift this year, I purchased a mattress with “white glove” installation service (including removal of the old mattress) for my 87 year old mother. It was supposed to arrive on or about Mother’s Day. I was very happy when I got a email the day before Mother’s Day “confirming delivery.” In truth, the only thing that had arrived was a mattress protector I also purchased. After more than a month of getting the runaround from Nectar as to when the mattress would finally be delivered (one unfulfilled promise after another on the phone; they keep you on hold forever, drop calls without returning them, yet it’s the only way to reach them as they don’t respond to their emails), and after repeated emails to them with the last one threatening to cancel my order, I got no responses and was forced to cancel. That was in June. For the past nearly three months, I have spent many hours fighting with Nectar and my credit card company with Nectar insisting that it had delivered the mattress (a completely false and potentially fraudulent statement). As proof, they produced a delivery receipt for the day before Mother’s Day. Not surprisingly, the receipt was from FedEx which had delivered only a small box (the mattress protector) and had left it at the door without any required signature by the recipient. Nectar stuck to their mistruth until I was able to find someone with common sense at my credit card company who finally understood that FedEx does not install mattresses and remove the old mattress (a service I paid $200 for), and Nectar was finally forced to confess it was either incompetent or (even worse, perhaps) fraudulent. I buy lots of things, and have never had worse customer service than I received from Nectar. Do yourself a favor and buy your mattress from another vendor.

Fedex misdelivered part of the order on 8/28. I spent over an hour in several phone calls to Dreamcloud and eventually had to open a case with Fedex myself after a Dreamcloud rep told me “it is up to the digression of Fedex on whether or not to deliver to you"
Fedex attempted to deliver the mattress on 8/29. The box was shredded in one corner and torn in 3 more places. It was FILTHY. It was re-taped in several places. I REFUSED DELIVERY. Driver put it back on his truck. I called Dreamcloud and asked for a refund. 4 phone calls later I received a refund minus $70 for a questionable reason
