Complex credit history, not a problem.
We had some missed payments and defaults on our credit file from 2+ years ago that we presumed would mean we couldnât get a mortgage at the level required without going to a specialist lender.
New homes managed to not only find us a mortgage but managed to get us multiple options almost £300 a month cheaper than other brokers.
Jonathan and Ashlee have been amazing. Theyâve talked us through everything, helped us and been there to answer our questions.

Exceptional service & transparent communication
Ashlee Davis & Connor Black were both extremely helpful and informative throughout the full process of our Mortage application. They made the process much less daunting and stressful for us, and were really friendly and approachable advisors. They maintained great communication throughout the full process and were really patient and positive with myself and my partner. I would recommend and use New Home Mortgages Scotland again purely from the back of the excellent service provided by Ashlee & Connor.
The company saw us through from our AIP when reserving a new home, to securing our Mortage and offering options for the necessary protection.
However, we are likely going to go elsewhere for protection/ insurance as the information we could be provided when requesting further information from a protection advisor (not Ashlee or Connor) re contents and building insurance was limited and our queries couldnât be answered in detail from the insurance advisor.
