Second time we have used New Homes Mortgage Scotland and once again we were incredibly satisfied with the service received. Helen McGown in particular kept us informed throughout the process and helped us understand the terms of our new mortgage very easily. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Our mortgage application for our new build home was handled with real care and attention. The whole team were thorough, supportive and genuinely invested in helping me as an individual. Helen McGowan’s knowledge and expertise was second to none and genuinely too the time to understand our needs. Every interaction with the team Zoe, Jade and Helen felt honest, personal and human - each team member brought their own personality while still being professional and knowledgeable. It was refreshing to deal with people who genuinely cared and took the time to explain everything properly. What we had anticipated to be stressful part of the process was made quick and seamless. What an amazing team, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Exceptional Service & Great Communication

Service has been exceptional so throughout, very fast to communicate and extremely honest throughout and staff are extremely invested in helping you through issues. Our mortgage offer was issued and they kept in touch throughout the whole thing re-assuring us even when things crept up can not praise NHMS enough for the work, effort and support throughout, honestly made it such a painless experience and kept us up to date the whole way through. Would recommend them to anyone buying a new build home!

We even got a lovely gift from them after moving into our new home!

We had the pleasure of dealing with Helen when obtaining a mortgage for our new build property. The process from start to finish was excellent, Helen took her time to explain everything and answer any questions.
We secured a mortgage deal we were happy with without any fuss or hassle. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to mortgage a property.

Good service/support from mortgage advisor however continually ‘hounded’ regarding protection polices. Activated without speaking to myself or partner, was given 17 minutes to reply to an email before all polices were activated without checking if still required.

David and Jade were the absolute dream team in securing our mortgage for our dream forever family home. They took all the stress away from us - mortgage, life insurance and home insurance. From our initial call to our mortgage being accepted and everything else in place good to go was 12 days!! Can’t recommend NHMS highly enough. You’re in safe hands with David & Jade.

Helen has been absolutely amazing throughout our mortgage application process. No question was ever too big or too silly which was a massive weight off of our shoulders being first time buyers. We couldn't have done this without her!

Jonathan was great during our application process! We are first time buyers and encountered a couple of bumps in the road due to our property being a new build flat, but Jonathan was there every step of the way until we successfully secured our mortgage offer!! Once our application was submitted we were passed on to Jade who kept us updated with any further information the lender needed or any updates.
