The second time I'd ever used a public charger I used an Osprey one. All was well until I came to stop the charging. Having pressed the "Cancel" button I then couldn't remove the cable from the car so I tried the calling the Osprey help line. The first number didn't connect but the second one did and was answered very promptly. Surprisingly, and thankfully, I spoke to a "real person" who told me to try pressing the unlock button on my key fob five times. I was told this often works in such circumstances - and it did! So, I was very pleased with the help I received.

10/10 for effortless charging in Welwyn Garden City Always plenty of chargers available and competitive weekend price offers for charging Saturday or Sunday and most important a contactable and helpful customer service if you incur a issue ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

The most excellent customer service from Amy Joiner. A very quick positive and incredibly helpful reply. My query related to non-EV’s in charging bays, leading to us not being able to charge our electric car. Amy was able to give me lots of info on how Osprey are combating this. Excellent :)

I have been using Osprey chargers for a number of years in a certain location that has many chargers from different companies but i found the Osprey chargers where much more reliable and super simple to use. I recently had a parking fine whilst using one of the chargers as i didn't realise that the car park rules had changed and now you have to register your vehicle to charge. I contacted Osprey support via email and not only did they get the fine reversed / cancelled, they did it so quickly. I am really impressed with the support team because sadly this is not a common experience these days. Well done Osprey

This was my time using a "public" charger as I have just got my first Ev. I charged for 20mins to test out Dc charging. I used 12.62kw (£10.98)
When I finished i clicked "stop charging" on the electroverse app. This didn't actually stop the charging session so I clicked "forced stop" on the app, then unplugged the charging lead from the car. A couple of hours later I received the bill for £32.41! 37.25 kwh! And duration of 4h 20m! Would this be a fault with the electroverse app, or the charger itself? If this has happened on my very first charge, how many other people have been overcharged?! It's obviously now put me off public charging. I was so worried that I would be charged even more that I drove back to the location and plugged in, without using the app,electroverse card or credit card. To my relief it didn't charge my car....

It is heartwarming to experience such excellent customer care and service from a company who value people.

Have used their chargers when travelling longer distances around the country. Generally a reliable faster charge. Good deals via Electroverse too.
Had issues once with a car park site issuing fines but Osprey were super helpful and quick in getting that cancelled.

Access to the chargers was through a scruffy pub car park in Welshpool. The pubs car park company have issued a penalty notice for none payment of parking charges. WTF.

It is perfect to be able to charge a car with the use of contactless payment. Also, it was good to be given a time to take ffor the charger to charge to the desired level .

So far the Best charging stations in the UK, they’re cheaper and respond to queries and complaints so fast.
The support team is so helpful and reliable. I highly recommend their services

No problems with Osprey. The Osprey GO, is very good ,plug in, then Stop ,,unplug and away you go.

On the way back from a funeral, I charges my Tesla at the Welshpool charging station - quick and easy. Unfortunately I didn't see the small sign which said I had to register my car via a QR code to avoid a parking fine, which duly arrived. Although Osprey Charging cancelled it when I complained, it was a lot of stress and hassle. These parking fines are ridiculous. I know they are in a lot of charging sites, across lots of charging companies, but there should be a different system, or MUCH bigger signs.

Osprey charging is very expensive. I regularly pay 82p/kwh on-street in Cardiff and have just plugged in to an identical 50kw machine in Leominster provided by a company called swarco at 64p/kwh. How can that huge difference be justified?

The charger was the fastest I've used in 3 1/2 years of owning an EV.
Posted as 200kW, we saw 120kW max.
The weather was cold and the battery wasn't pre-conditioned, there where also 3 other cars charging at the hub. So it was approximately what I expected.
However, Osprey take a deposit of £45 for the credit card. I don't have a problem with that in principle, it was refunded promptly, but there was no notification warning of a deposit, it was bit of a surprise when I check that card statement.
The power is also expensive, more than x10 what I pay at home.
