Long wait - zero communication
Car booked in for service. On arrival at 845am, was given an ETA of around 2pm. Arrived back at dealer around 1.30pm and made our presence known.
Finally collected car at 4.30pm. Throughout the waiting period we had to prompt staff several times to find out what was happening. They did not provide any helpful information about finishing time. In fact, at 3pm I asked if the proposed MOT had been started as, if not, I would cancel that and get the car back straight away. Was told that the car had just been logged on to the MOT system. At 4.15pm there was still no news - having been told 15 mins earlier that "it was coming off the ramps". My local garage would have had the MOT done in 45 mins!
At 4.30 pm I demanded that one of the service staff go and find out when my car would be available. It was then that I noticed that my paperwork was sitting on the desk - it had been there for at least 15 minutes unattended.
And then the final straw - having left the dealership and parked up elsewhere, on restart, car told me that service was due in 4 days - the technician had failed to reset the service indicator.
