Sales Team 5 stars, they swiftly achieved a sale price above our expectations. Back office 3 stars. Back office did not press for early exchange in the way other agents have done in my personal experience.

I have used Peter Lane twice now, once as a buyer in 2020 and once as a seller in 2022.
As a buyer I could not fault them, they were informative, helpful and always on my side.
As a seller the experience was an entirely different one. We never really intended to sell but we saw a house we loved up for sale with Peter Lane so we agreed to put our house up with them as long as we bought that one. It took too long for Peter Lane to put my house on the market that we lost the property we wanted. As it happened we did receive a good offer and with Colin's help we pushed it up so decided to stay on the market and keep looking.
We eventually found a house we loved even more and the buying process started. From here Peter Lane were practically non existent for us. We barely heard anything from them, unless we asked specifically for an update. Meanwhile our purchase agent was having 2 weekly catch up calls with us. Towards the end we were struggling with our purchase solicitor, although we were selling through Peter Lane they recommended Key Conveyancing (and were receiving a fee from them) so I asked if Peter Lane could chase her. I was received by a response that could be summarised as that's not our job.
To summarise my experience I have never been a fan of online agent due to a fear of no personal service or contact, however my partner used an online agent to sell his property and it would seem he received a very similar level of service that I recieved with Peter Lane but at a much cheaper price.

The agents were helpful in fitting us in for a second viewing. Our buying agent (Garrington) actually dealt with them for the most part, on our behalf. Peter Lane also navigated well through a tricky period when our first buyer was unable to proceed.

Paul and Cath were outstanding making our experience pleasant throughout. They helped us to arrange several visits during all phases of our purchase very efficiently. More than this, Paul was able to interface with our sellers' solicitors who, quite frankly, were pretty poor and needed nudging on more than one occasion. Without this intervention, the deal may well have fallen through.

We dealt mainly with Cath Hoof who was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to ensure that, we got the house we wanted. She was incredibly supportive, always available for calls, even when on leave. Without her dedication and input, there is a very real possibility that the transaction would have fallen through.

Peter Lane helped us purchase a New Build in Brington 7 years ago so when we were thinking of selling we approached them for a valuation. We sold within a week thanks to Cath & the team. Friendly & Professional service provided all the way through the process & would definitely recommend.
