Highly recommend going to Phoenix in Chippenham.
Instructors are very friendly, made the day a very enjoyable experience.

Brilliant location and excellent instrucor

I did my CBT at the Phoenix Motorcycle Training centre in New Addington last week and had a really good experience.

My instructor Mark was brilliant — really friendly, patient and explained everything clearly throughout the day. I hadn’t had much experience riding a manual motorbike before, but he made me feel comfortable and gave me plenty of useful advice, especially with my clutch control and pulling away.

By the end of the day I felt much more confident on the bike and really enjoyed the whole experience. I’m now looking forward to doing my full motorcycle licence and will definitely be going back to Phoenix for it.

Would highly recommend Phoenix New Addington and Mark to anyone looking to do their CBT.

I would thoroughly recommend Phoenix to anyone considering motorbike training. I’ve used them both to complete my CBT and to renew it, and on both occasions the experience has been excellent.

The team are extremely knowledgeable and have also been able to share valuable insights and advice on progressing towards a full licence.

A dedicated shoutout to Mitch, who has been my instructor on both occasions. He’s been fantastic, but every member of the team I’ve dealt with has been great.

Would definitely recommend Phoenix to anyone looking to start or progress their motorbike journey

Fourth cbt with thes guys at least. Maybe more and won't go elsewhere for cbt as most of their guys are sound. I keep going back so tells you all you need to know really, however as great as the guys are this time we had Mr Chatty. Lovely bloke but took a 4 hour course from 8am until 2pm ish. Appreciate all the input and useful if going for big boy license but gawd this guy can whittle on. He must have told the same joke 5 times. Trying to big us up to pass the big boy test. I simply want to get to work on time.

He even thought telling two grown a.. men they were going to compete Krypton factor style to make a folder to put the cbt sheet in was a good idea. ... anything that could be stretched to beyond any reasonable time frame was. Lovely bloke - not fast.

Also this time lass on phone tells me I have to book online. Immediately lose half a star for that nonsense.

Enjoyable experience from the TryRide to taking my CBT, have to give a special thank you to & highly recommend Sam in particular as under his tutelage as a novice i felt nothing but warmth & the confidence he was genuinely invested in my development & improvement.

Good training, nice and patient instructors

It was a very enjoyable day the instructor was very professional patient but firm. He provided exerlent training and assistance. Absolutely A1 experience would most definitely recommend to anyone wanting to learn to ride.

I cannot recommend Phoenix Motorcycle Training highly enough. From start to finish, the training was professional, patient and extremely supportive. The instructors understand that everyone learns at a different pace, and they work with your individual ability while correcting mistakes and helping you build confidence.
A massive shout-out and thank you to Liam, who was absolutely amazing throughout my training, and to Mark, who helped me enormously, particularly with his “magic two over-the-shoulder” technique, which really helped everything click for me.

What impressed me most was their patience and the way they explain things until you fully understand. They genuinely want you to become a safe, confident and competent rider, not simply pass your test.

If anyone is thinking about learning to ride a motorcycle and wants professional training, excellent instruction and instructors who genuinely care, Phoenix Motorcycle Training is the place to go.

I would 100% recommend them to my family and friends, and I would happily use Phoenix again in the future.

Was great experience to take my CBT course at Crystal Place. I can’t remember the instructors name, however, I really appreciate their treatment. They are kind people and they were very helpful.

I had a really great day with Adam, my instructor for my CBT.

Extremely knowledgeable and gave awesome advice throughout the day.

There was actually a minor issue with the 125 I was initially on (I'm also 6ft 2 and nearly 18st 🤣) the gear lever was almost under the bike. So to save fuss, myself and Dai, (the gent that did his CBT with me) were put on the Honda Hornets, 750cc.

So the level of trust and time given by Adam that day, will always stick with me and it's true what they say, a bigger bike is actually easier in many ways. Especially under the correct guidance, which Adam was not short of.

Great day, great school. Just looking forward to getting my Mod1 and 2 under my belt once there's availability.

Nick the Instructor, delivered a very comprehensive practical and theory session in a very professional manner. He covered motorcycle maintenance, safety features and riding techniques. Practical sessions then built up confidence in line with the requirements for your bike test.
This was followed by over two hours of instruction on the road dealing with all the local hazards putting into practice what had been learnt in the off-road sessions.
I highly recommend Phoenix motorcycle training for your CBT.
