Inaccessible. Got a "lifetime deal" and scammed. This "bad deal" has made me also not ever trust the "big player" social software sales site whom introduced me to this worthless scam of a service I no longer trust them either and will never buy anything they recommend. Boo.

A year ago uploading files was painfully slow. Today all my files disappeared. The website becomes

Prism Drive seems to have gone completely.
Links now just take you to some code with syntax errors. And saying
no space left on drive
Obviously they have just taken the money and ran.
It seemed to be working okay, even though I didn't use it much, or often, but to find it gone was the"icing on the cake" Seems we've all been scammed.
If there were minus stars to give I would do that.

Ich kam einmal rein, konnte kurz etwas hoch laden und dann war ENDE.. erst ging kein Upload
und nun kann ich mich gar nicht mehr einloggen.. das Geld aus dem Fenster geworfen.

PrismDrive wasn't useful right from the start, even though I managed to upload a few GB of files one by one. Then it would stop, only accepting small text files. Current status is XML error message when trying to retrieve a file stating "[Error]
[Code]BandwidthLimitExceeded[/Code>]
[Message]You have reached your project bandwidth limit.[/Message>]...". (pointy brackets replaced because Trustpilot can't handle them)

Even though directory entries are still visible, files are not available any more.

Trying uploading a file (70MB) sort of works and hangs at "upload indexing" (whatever that is) for ages. Unusable at best.

Save you money and time. It is a complete waste. Prism Drive's secure cloud storage with a lifetime plan, I bought the 1 TB space from StackSocial, and it has been a total waste! REGRETTED IT!

It may take a lifetime to upload 1 tb of data. Previews of anything rarely work. The site is often down.

A poor user experience, while I was after a secure, user-friendly application back in 2023. I regret having spent time and money on this junk. Lesson learned, and quite the need to go over those reviews in the first place.

So slow it's not usable. I had made the purchase about 3 years ago. I tried using it and it was so slow I just gave up. I got an email about it today (9/2/2025) and thought I would log in and see if it was usable. Made a couple of attempts to up load a 15MB video file and after 3 hours it was still "indexing". So nope.

Support chat never worked, just a bot.

PrismDrive Review – Total Scam, Stay Away

I’m writing this review to warn others about my terrible experience with PrismDrive. I purchased their 20TB lifetime storage plan, thinking it would be a smart long-term investment. It turned out to be a complete disaster.

A few months after purchasing, my account was deleted without any notice or explanation. I lost access to all my files, with no way to recover them. Even worse, there is absolutely no customer service. Emails go unanswered, there’s no phone number, and the contact form on their website is useless.

At this point, I strongly believe PrismDrive is a scam. Their business model offering massive “lifetime” storage at an extremely low price feels like a trap. Once they have your money and data, they vanish. No support, no refunds, no accountability.

I strongly advise against buying anything from PrismDrive. No matter how attractive the offer seems, you risk losing both your money and your data. It’s not worth it. Stick with well-established cloud storage providers even if they cost more because reliability and support are non-negotiable, especially for something as critical as 20TB of personal or professional data.

I bought a “lifetime” subscription to Prism Drive thinking I was investing in secure, reliable cloud storage. What a mistake! This platform is a complete disaster. Uploads either take FOREVER or never finish at all. Even worse? The files that say they uploaded are NOWHERE to be found. I’ve tried repeatedly—different devices, different files, different browsers—and it’s the same useless result every time.

This is not a minor glitch or occasional bug. This is a non-functional, broken system that should not be charging anyone a dime—let alone advertising itself as a premium product! They took my money, and I got nothing in return. ZERO usability.

It’s clear from other reviews I’m not the only one burned by Prism Drive. They promise secure cloud storage, but what they really deliver is a black hole where your documents disappear and your time is wasted. Or documents never upload. Because most of the time, documents NEVER UPLOAD. I’m furious I spent money on this garbage.

Prism Drive: If you’re reading this, I want a full refund. And if you’re considering buying this, DON’T DO IT. Spend your money on a real cloud service that actually works.

I think website is doing fraud.
It is taking money in the name of subscription but its not opening after login.

I have always had trouble uploading files to my lifetime 20TB subscription. Uploads files no problem but can spend days indexing and then fails so file is not actually saved on the site. Since the beginning of the year I can not even log in to my account, I get a page of errors. I have emailed and also used the online chat and have never received a single reply. Terrible site and non existent customer service.
