SCAM, DON'T Buy!!!
I signed up to the 20TB for fife plan, as everyone was raving about it. I did not check any review sites! (I know, rookie mistake) Shortly after signing up I tried to upload some files, using the web interface. These simple files, a few MB took 2 days to upload! I queried the help service a few times and got absolutely 0 answers. I tried to cancel the service (a few times), same! Does anyone have recommendations on how to get the money back?

I've just deleted what 'used' to be my content from their servers.
I had previously uploaded a bunch of PDF files that took 'forever' to upload... like, I'm talking - weeks!!!... over a number of weeks... and when I went back to look, all I see is some kind of 'code'... error code... all of my files are 'gone'.... all that work... total waste of time, total waste of money. NO SUPPORT - nowhere to go... they don't respond or acknowledge. Total 'scam'... should be wiped off the internet and face fraud charges.
I wouldn't mind betting.... they trawl these reviews and erase accounts that give them negative reviews...

SCAM DON'T BUY
Don't be fooled by those 20tb lifetime subscription that you see all over the Internet just singing up took me afew hours after contacting and emailing several times, uploading a file seems impossible I have tried to upload more than 50 files with various sizes from a few kb to 5gb after upload is complete it keeps saying (upload indexing ) and all that i could upload was screen shot with less than 100kb.
so DON'T BUY

I've used multiple cloud storage services over the years- and I must say this service is definately the worst of them all. It's completely buggy, unreliable so completely useless. Takes ours to upload a few 100mb of files. And by the looks of reviews your files will go missing at any time. Save your money. Support is unresponsive too. Good luck getting any response.

It says up to 10Gbps upload speed. In reality, it took me half an hour to upload one, 7Mb mp3 song

Bottom line up front: Upload is really slow and very unreliable.

I got a really good offer for lifetime access to Prismdrive. It was so good that I decided just to risk it.

I've been experimenting with Prismdrive off and on for over a year. Whilst I have managed to upload some pretty large files it is a slow, error prone and painful process.

I recently switched to using cryptomator to encrypt uploads with the added advantage that it makes small files, which should be easier and faster to upload.

Best upload speeds I've seen are under 300kb/s (estimated not methodically measured) and that although I have internet access with around 40mb/s upload speed and ping times usually well below 50ms.

I've been able to upload 1.4GB folders - though it took 3 attempts.

Attempts to upload 13.5GB folders failed consistently at about 1.8GB of upload - I suspect there is a limit hard coded.

I worked with a macbook using different browsers (chrome and safari) to login.

I tried uploads at odd hours of the day and night, including especially times with low traffic volumes all to no effect.

My advice: just do not use prismdrive.

It appears this site is run by a guy named Prasanth Dwivedi who used Storj cloud as his storage provider. He bought a limited amount of space off them, uses an API to link the cloud to his prism drive website, and collects money from poor people through lifetime subscriptions until he runs out space on his Storj account. Don’t buy unless you want to lose your money.

As of this date, it looks like his Storj account was closed and access to all uploaded files is lost.

No Support, No Service. I have been trying to get an issue resolved for MONTHS without any follow up from them.

I understand why they offer a lifetime subscription at a very low cost--it's because it will take a lifetime to upload even a very few documents. This is the worst purchase that I have ever made and strongly recommend against purchasing it.

Please avoid. No app so it can setup auto uploads. Deceptive if not downright illegal refund policy. I got f*cked.

Not a very user friendly product. I cannot use it for my intended usage of storing photos and videos and was a waste of money

Worked until I had 4.6 tb uploaded, now every upload hangs on "upload indexing " and never upload. This started about 4 months ago. I filed a complaint with the BBB.

They take your money and never answer multiple emails in this regard.

It's been a year since I paid $89 for a 20TB "lifetime" storage and I can't believe that this company is still around. For that fact alone, I will give it 2 stars (and not 1) because MAYBE the company is still trying to gather funds and at least attempt to stand up on it's feet. But having said that, if the company wasn't able to provide a decent service, it should have not opened up to the public. Thus far, seems like and feels like a scam. By the time I finished writing these two lines, I am rethinking whether I give it two starts or just one.

One it is.

Files take about 700 years to upload and then only about 60% actually show up once your done. Even worse the 60% is completely random. You would have to go through files one by one to ever know which ones arent there. I regret this purchase immensely.

It sucks!! I can't even upload a 1TB for over a year. Avoid at all prices - complete waste of time and money.

There is no way this is a real company, my guess is, it is some amateur programmer living in his mom's basement. Other than being able to upload a few pics, nothing else works, any video over 50mb which is about 12 seconds will not upload and gets stuck at indexing. Don't waste your time with this garbage, fortunately for me it was a sale price so I'm out only $30 bucks but I would not recommend you even spend that much on it!!!

Prismdrive is a scam. Can't believe that I fell for this garbage. $79 out the window. There is no service, doesn't work on ANY device.

Sucks. I bought 20TB for life yesterday and it docent work. I can never see how much space i have + all uploads stalls at the upload indexing + i can't delete folders. Nothing works. I left it doing night and when i woke up it was still indexing :(
I tried testing on 3 different computers and it was the same on all. I hope they get back to me because other wise i will post every where online that you shouldn't purchase PrismDrive + make a dispute on Paypal where i paid.
I have tried today to get a refund, cancel the order but its very hard to get anyone to replay to me, lets see what happen.
Don't buy this if you want something that works.

Update.
I tried again today several times and upload still dont work. Upload finish but upload indexing will stay indexing for ever. I left it 8 hours last night and it was still indexing and no files was in my server.
Also still can't delete folders or i can not see my server storage. I have 20TB
This is the must bad service i have sean for many years. Normally things like this just works. I have tried many other services and 98% just works but not PrismDrive. Not even able to upload one file to share with a client :(
