STAY AWAY!!!! Horrible Company. No offline ability to read files. They NO customer support.

I paid $138 for 20TB of storage. Their site states, "30 Day money back guarantee." After reviewing their site, I decided on the refund.

No one has responded to my several emails. I was waiting on their "chat," for two hours and no one responded to me.

I want my money returned. To the rest of you thinking of signing up for their "Lifetime" service - STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Made the mistake of buying a "lifetime deal" hosted by CBS/Gamespot, because I made the mistake of believing all the fake positive reviews excessively posted with 5 stars on CBS/GameSpot's site. Clearly CBS is also as guilty, since they turned off the ability for users to post reviews on this "deal" so I can't even put a negative review up on their own site to warn others of Prism Drive's unreliabilty! I can't even upload a 200kb picture to the Prism Drive cloud let alone MP4 videos below 500mb per vid!

Nothing works! Don't waste your money!

The web app works, but with problems. I couldn't move a folder from one workspace to annoter. The mobile applications don't work at all! Nether in iOS, nor in android.

Through Mashable (apparently they are no longer a reputable company) I purchased a lifetime 10TB subscription for $89. Once I set up my account I found that uploads of photos that were as small as 2MB failed to upload. At the current upload speeds it would take hundreds of years to upload 10TB worth of data.

Unresponsive support, basically a scam. Very disappointed in Mashable.

I gifted myself prismdrive 10TB service for Christmas and finally got to redeeming it about 4 minutes ago. I'm already wanting my money back...

I did a test upload of a folder containing 1.8mb photos and 70% of the photos failed to upload. They also don't appear to be viewable.

I am ashamed to have fallen for a cheap ploy thinking it was supported by a reputable source. It appears many before me have also fallen victim to this scam. I do not feel confident in this "life time" "service" whatsoever. How can I after the simple tests I did failed? This is in no way providing confidence that this service will last nor will it provide what it claims.

Bad stuff, man.

This seems like an abandoned app. No one answered support requests. It doesn't even have an account creation section.

They don't reply to a thing.
Uploads fail 95% of the time if not more.
Have not had 1 file that is 500mb or larger upload ever.

Don’t buy it. It is impossible to upload files, very slow and at the end you will get a message - upload error.
The technical support can’t solve it.
it is cheap offer for cloud storage.
And maybe the offer is for good to be true.

Do not buy this. I can't even upload any files and I bought 20 Tb. I should have know better but was blinded by the price, and also the fact that they were being promoted in articles by supposedly reputable IT reporting organizations like Kinja Deals, which is how I found out about them. If you get an account with them, on your login page, there are no links for any kind of support. Don't buy. Learn from me.

Has anyone tried to refund? Only a bot has answered me so far, and when I ask to be transfered to an operator, they are "offline". Nothing works, all the reviews here are true. The lifetime offer was indeed too good to be true. Such a scam.

Like many others, I purchased on of the lifetime 10tb plans. I knew going into it that it might be a bad/questionable decision but I figured for the price I'd use it as a tertiary backup solution or wait until it might possibly be "good". From the first day, I was disappointed since uploads were slow (big understatement), inconsistent, and often would hang or outright fail. So, I started researching a little and they have a seemingly decent json api that I'm going to tinker with to see if that works any better. Hopefully, for the time being I can create a simple backup script and use it in that manner.

One of the most notable points against them right now is the lack of a native PC or Mac app. Sure you can create a web app on your desktop, but that doesn't allow for any real time file synchronization.

My advice for anyone interested in their killer pricing deals when they come around, either buy knowing it may always be terrible, as an alternative backup solution, trying out the API, or just for tinkering. At the moment, stick with your OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, iCloud, etc.

I stand-by EVERY poor review on this PrismDrive Storage. A bunch of crap!!!! I wish I had seen and read these before I purchased the $89 lifetime 10TB worthless crap. I have been able to upload files, but as everyone else has stated it is prolonged and sometimes it does not upload or misses files. The google play store app is a joke and it does not work. I feel stupid and duped again! Damn it!!! No customer support, just a bot. No responses from email either. Such a scam!

Does not work. Cannot upload files. When you do, files are missing and it takes about 24 hours to upload 10 files. I left it running all night to see if it would upload my document files (no pictures, no videos) and barely 10% uploaded. Zero CUSTOMER SERVICE. Requested HELP several times, no response. Asked for REFUND several times, no response. They affectively stole my money. Don't waste yours.

App stopped working and removed from Play Store. No response from company.

I do regret buying Prismdrive. I can’t upload anything to this server. Uploading is painfully slow; an error message pops up at the end and ruins everything. I’m a computer expert and know what I’m doing. Therefore, it is not a matter of my expertise that leaves to be desired, but this unreliable cloud service. If you go to “scamadviser.com” and insert the address of this server, you come up with a scam warning! TOTALLY UNTRUSTWORTHY.

The service is slow, I have reached out to support for over a month, I get about a 70% upload success rate, problem is it takes over 5 minutes to upload one file, I have sent them a 5 minute video showing that and a number of picture's of failures. I have asked for a refund and cancellation for almost 2 months now and have not heard anything.

The seller is a joke and I tried to dispute through PayPal and they sided with Prism Drive. I continue to try to reach out to support, I might actually have a human so I am hopeful. If anyone wants the video or picture proof just ask.

Stay away from this bulls*it service. I purchased a "lifetime" 5TB storage solution via StackSocial.

1. The PrismDrive customer support does not exist, its a BOT replying and once you try to reach an actual person nothing happens.

2. The so called application (for Android) is directly downloaded from their website, and does not work.

3. Their business adress belongs to another company

4. Uploading files to their actual storage? Well, you might be lucky and upload a JPG. I tried for the sake of it to upload a 700MB file and monitored my upload speed, <0.1Kbp/s. LOL
And if you for some reason leave the site while uploading, the progress is gone. Theres no resume function.

AVOID THIS SCAM

Prismdrive is the slowest cloud storage anywhere. There is no support available. They don't answer emails. AJ must be an insider because he claims the service is great. Pure Garbage AJ! Who's paying you to say that?

Super slow to upload files, it's almost impossible to work as backup. Waste of time and money. Many red flags all over. I should have researched first before purchasing 10TB of useless storage.
