A Total Scam.
Specially the Office Address that they are using.

This is a Corporate Office that is owned by me Private Angel since February 2021 and has nothing to do with Prism Drive and they are not even anywhere in this Building.
This has been lodged with Google thus why it does not show Prism Drive on Google Map.
They may exist but certainly the office is not here.

Great price, practical service, get's the job done.

I don't need all the bells and whistles that I've read from some of the other reviews. I just needed a large amount of storage at an affordable price.

Support has been responsive and quick. I'm very happy with Prism Drive.

Prismdrive is worthless! I tried just uploading one picture. After 30 min it uploaded but then you couldn't pull it up once on the drive. Tried contacting customer service and you NEVER get a response. Have asked for a refund but since no one responds guess how that is going to go. I purchased 10TB of useless nothing!!!

SLOW AF!! I constantly have to log out and log in just to upload 4-5 pics that can take up to 20 min, half the time the files get corrupted and I would have to log out and log back get just to start all over which is very frustrating. It literally took me 2 days just to upload 40 pictures (not videos). I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PRISM. I should've did my research before buying. STAY AWAY!!

The most buIIshit storage provider ever. They wont allow you to upload file fast and they purposely cap your upload speed. Using VPN will tend to get you faster speed but tend to failed half way. If the storage balanced is not shown yet your upload is doomed, tend to get failure over and over again. My synology are way reliable than this stupid provider. Please restrain yourself from buying this service..

Started fine. A little slow to upload but not so much as to be a problem. This week the app won't load. I tried to reinstall but the app has gone from the Android Play store. The upload button has disappeared from the web-based site. Messages to tech support go unanswered

Just an awful waste of time and money! SLOWEST backup service I have ever used, and I've had some other very slow ones. I'm asking for a refund but I doubt I'll get it. This service is a complete ripoff!

Rubbish! First file I tried to upload (4GB) failed at about 50% upload, which took FOREVER! Clearly not a dependable service, and I'd never want to risk losing 20TB of data when they inevitably go out of business. I bought this Prism thing from Mashable Shop, where the reviews were (naturally!) 4.5 stars. Funny how the reviews aren't the same outside of that retail environment! Anyway, I've disputed the charge with my credit card company ($89 plus a $49 up-sell) and hopefully I'll get a refund. Definitely NOT a trustworthy / reliable service.

I purchased Prism Drive a few weeks back to backup some of my files from my Mac. Using the web interface, I tried uploading and ended up with upload errors more times than not. Those that did upload took a long time. I have a 1GB high speed internet connection so I know that's not the issue. Not a good experience. I think there are better cloud drives out there that are much faster and more reliable.

Terrible upload, tried several times and didn't work. Contacted customer support and always got a message and never responded. Waste of money!!!

The worst tech support I have ever experienced.

The upload is s...l...o...w. I've been uploading photos and it's been ongoing for weeks, 24-hours a day.

I have sent a dozen requests to tech supp, all I get is,"Sorry all of our operators are busy right now, but if you will type your question/request below, we'll get back to you!" Or, "We're currently offline, if you **leave a request** though, we'll respond when we come back! Please type your question."

Thought this would be a great deal given the price.
I paid and started playing around to see how easy things would be. I have two comments.
The first, although possibly more picky then an issue is when I first tried to upload a few test files, I got a message I was out of space and 'of course' there was a link to upgrade the storage capacity. Kind gimmicky to make a user upgrade given I still had 10TB left of storage because nothing had been uploaded yet. This did go away once the meter on the lower left updated with current usage. But it took almost 5 minutes to update. Very poor performance given nothing had been used yet.
Second problem and I know there are a few other comments about this but upload speeds are SLOW!
Like a few others mentioned, I have fiber and have no speed limitations or issues with any other internet related uploads\downloads\activities. I tried different browsers and different PCs, uploads are slow.
And lastly a recommendation for an enhancement. When you login to your drive you are in the default workspace. You can create different workspaces-i.e. work, home, gaming, pictures, emails, etc.
at first I tested an upload to the default workspace. It would be nice to be able to move files around into the other workspaces. You can move files within the same workspace but not to others.

I thought this was a great buy. Sent my money and started Testing.
First I uploaded and downloaded a few small files. They checked out okay.
I have a fiber network connection and they went up and down okay with a
very noticable delay at the last second of the upload of 7+minutes.
They limit there upload files to 10G so I tried 2 - 8GB and 2 -5GB.
They eventually showed up on the prismdrive. 1 set was a 7z encrypted files and one set an encryted zip files. Neither file would download back to me
without a "This site can't be reached" error and a message that
it might be temporarily down or moved permanently to a new address.
It does appear from the rest of the report that they are using AWS to store
their info on.
Two seperate requests on their support site, 2 weeks apart has gotten no
response. Attempts to copy the files resulted in a you have no room report
despite these files only being 29GB or the 10TB I purchased. Again no
response from their support.
Gues that was $89 wasted. Maybe they will use it to pay some support staff.
I doubt it however and suggest this one is a SCAM.

Fraud. The "link" to the Google Store is a direct file download from prismdrive.com. No code signing check or google security scan.

It can only be loaded on Android by disabling secure app loading from google (aka sideloading). NOT secure and NOT recommended.
No answer from support. Always "all of our operators are busy right now."

They are selling lifetime access to 10TB for $89 on Mashable and numerous other affiliate sites. They’ve apparently pulled their app from the Google play store and have said the iOS app is ‘coming soon’ for several months. Companies and want to compete in any space, must leverage some competitive advantage to make it. Thus far, PrismDrive has no advantage over any of the main players in cloud storage. It is less expensive, but cheap + slow, unreliable, & buggy isn’t an advantage. Also, it stands to reason that PrismDrive would be making progress if the company was well capitalized. The fact that progress is difficult to see over several j JPu months brings into question the company’s ability to ‘keep the lights on’, much less build a cloud storage solution that can compete with Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, Google Drive, etc.

1- I tried to upload a test folder with about 6MB total size of its combined files, and I got an error message saying that I have enough insufficient space on my drive and I should delete some files to make more room! This is when I supposedly have 10TB of space!
2- It took two minutes for a single file with 110Kb size to get uploaded! I have one the fastest broadband plans offered by Xfinity!
PrismDrive practices look extremely fishy!
Contacted their support several times but to receive only the dumbest replies, as if they don't even read your case and just send standard replies!
Now I'm trying to get my money back which has been an uphill battle from Stackcommerce!
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!

Not at all user-friendly (both the software as well as support services)...waste your money and buy some frustration, if you would.

Total scam company. Never return any email reply. It's gone from Google Play Store now.
Please avoid at all costs.

SCAM. Takes money for large storage but uploads are impossibly slow and fail frequently, often after the "upload transfers" appears complete. Tried multiple network connections. Degoo.com is far faster and better. Avoid prismdrive. They will likely fail. Do not waste your money.

Prism drive does not seem to be from a trustworthy company. I noticed their android app is no longer available on Google play store, but no comments from business. If they are a standard company they try to fix issues ASAP.

But that's not the case with prism drive. There is absolutely no comments from business. Lack of communication from business to their customers is a red flag. So there is no guarantee that the files you uploaded will be safe from scammers.
