We were Supposed to get our gas dryer…

We were Supposed to get our gas dryer this week in 4 days and now I just got a phone call that it would not arrive here until April 1st. We have been waiting for over 2 weeks. Why didn't they phone me Days ago. I'm very pissed off, I want my Dryer. Do you know how hard it is for 5 people in this house to do laundry. I don't think so.

J'ai été au magasin reno+ de St-Eustache pour avoir des renseignement pour l'installation, tellement bon qu'ils m'ont dit qu'ils allaient me rappeler pour me donné les renseignements, jamais eu de réponses. J'ai appeler moi même pour avoir des informations 20 minutes d'attentes pour ce faire raccrocher. Suis sur que les hacker on plus facile d'avoir nos renseignements que les clients dans avoir. Je ferme mon compte

Rona Tullicum customer is Garbage

Rona Tullicum customer service is Garbage in my opinion. Made me wait for an hour for trying to get the part I need due to manufacturer issue and to tell me that it was not available from their store. The manager Dishanp is too lazy to look for the part Im looking for it clearly says that there are 2 available. Instead of trying to help me out, he kept walking away. Now Dishanp sent me to Rona Langford because there is one available there, but Tillicum have 2 available. Terrible Customer service!

Le problème est le prix

Le problème est le prix, gros problème. Je me suis acheté un thermostat mécanique Selpro sur Amazon, j'ai payé 2$ de moins que chez Rona, acheté à 15:30 et reçu le lendemain à 10:00. Aucun déplacement, aucun temps perdu. Je suis très averti sur les prix. Rona est toujours plus cher que les autres, même Home dépôt vend le thermostat 2$ de moins. Il feront toutes les publicités du monde avec Mike le beau sourire, pour moi l'important c'est le prix et uniquement le prix. Moi c'est le dernier quincailler que je vais quand j'ai besoin, des fois je fais 15 minutes d'auto de plus jusque parce que je sais que je vais payé entre 10 à 30% plus cher. Il ne faut pas oubli que après le 30% plus cher il faut aussi ajouter les taxes sur le 30% de plus, non il ne l'on pas. Mike, Mike check tes prix!!!

Horrible Customer Service

I purchased six, 8ft long corner molding. The closest Rona was an hour away and I was very happy that Rona offered free packaging and shipping. The package arrived with all six items damaged. Two 4ft boxes were used with a space in the middle allowing the molding to bend and twist from handling. I contacted Rona and sent pictures of the damage. I received a response was that I was to return them to Rona and get replacements.

Customer Service Experience with Rona: Toilet Purchase and Return
Overview of Purchase
On 2026-01-30, I purchased an American Standard Edgemere dual flush toilet from Rona. Upon installation, I encountered an issue with the low flush cylinder, which was not functioning as expected.
Attempted Return
The following day, on 2026-01-31, I returned to Rona to seek a refund due to the malfunctioning cylinder. However, my request was initially denied. The staff stated that a refund could not be processed because the toilet had been installed.
Concerns about Return Policy
This experience raised a concern: it is not possible to determine if a toilet will work properly without first installing it. The refusal to issue a refund under these circumstances seemed unreasonable, especially for a product that must be installed to confirm its functionality.
Conclusion
Having worked in bathroom renovation for forty years, I found this experience deeply unsatisfactory. As a result, I have decided that this will be the last time I purchase anything from Rona.

are you for real?

ok, so got my dishwasher installed on Sat, the following Wed the machine is already not draining, I called Rona, put on hold for 20 mins (do you actually have a french section on your phone tree?) to be told I have to call the manufacturer.. omg.

Appliance never arrived - installer is 3rd party

Made an online order for an appliance and it never arrived.

Customer support dodge my calls by putting me on hold then suddenly im ringing to another line, having to call different departments to find out what happened. Or left on hold for 30 mins plus.

No one acted on my purchase online, I had to call on the day of the delivery only to find out no one put the order into the delivery system, something about creating a purchase order. They rebooked a new delivery date and it still didn't arrive.

Then 3rd installation member comes only 1 or 2 days after appliances are delivered. Adding further delays.

Very very slow shipping

Very very slow shipping, charged my c.c. online purchase immediately, took them more than 6 weeks to deliver. Ordered on 29 Nov 2025, received on 14 Jan 2026

Rona has the stupidest systems

Rona has the stupidest systems. I checked out with a cashier and asked for an e-mailed receipt as well as a paper receipt. She said it could NOT be done. For those want an e-mail receipt, they HAVE to SELF-Checkout because those terminals are the ONLY ones who give you the choice. She could do NOTHING. I'd have to go clear to the other end of the store, get a refund and then come all the way back to the self-checkout. HOW STUPID! I got my refund and left everything there and went to Home Depot where the management has brains. I'm trying to shop Canadian but when the Canadian alternative is clearly run by the stupidest people in the country, it's off to the American chain I went. RONA is run by pinheads whose IQ wouldn't equal room temperature.

Online purchase Difficulty

Made an online purchase Nov 14. Item to be delivered by the 21. Did not receive item. Tracked package through purolator and it just said was picked up and then nothing. Contacted Rona (which wasnt easy to get a human) they wouldnt help me, told me it was in Purolators hands. Purolator couldnt find the product ordered. I had to send them full details about item purchased, they still couldnt find it. But in the mean time, Rona would not help and got rude about it. Well I didnt order from Purolator, I ordered from Rona. Finally after over a month I cancelled the order. Rona are the worst, they would not refund my money back, they needed me to contact Purolator again and again as if I got the package or something. They finally said they would process the cancellation after they contacted Purolator to ensure that Purolator lost the package. They still wouldnt refund my money. After 3 weeks of calling them, they finally said they would process the cancellation. Still no refund. Finally on Jan 12 I got my money back. So 2 months of Rona bullshit, to get a refund. I will never order anything from them again. Took them 5 minutes or less to take my money, but heaven help if they have to give it back

I only gave 1 star because you can’t give 0 stars. Rona was my preferred hardware store. However, I will no longer shop there due to poor service and poor inventory. I think the new name Rona + means give us more money for less service.

Junk product, terrible service

I bought a $2000 snow blower it in Oct 2025 (6 weeks ago, used twice). Already parts broken and malfunctioning. Wheels will not engage consistently, transmission problem. Blower doesn't use lock nuts for frame pieces, so nuts/bolts already vibrate out and lost after just 2 uses (and yes I have tightened them as much as possible)! Manual has no part numbers so can't find what to order. Auger assemble is not attached to the body properly (on at an angle when you life unit). Briggs & Stratton website has no human support, and model number and serial numbers not recognized on their website. Going in circles. Despite 305cc engine, power is poor, wheels don't stay engaged (don't turn). Junk! I went to store to return it, customer service manager says policy is once you open box not return, no refund, no exchange...your problem. He said I need to (rent a truck) to drive it to a repair depot across town. When I said the store should take some responsibility (why should I pay to rent a truck to take a new snowblower for repairs) he started raising his voice saying this is between me and the repair depot. "Store is not involved". And this rude individual is the customer service "manager"! I hope the store manager views recordings. Overall bad experience with the quality of the blower, bad experience with Rona. I will not shop there again after this kind of treatment. I'm considering selling this on facebook "as is", take the financial hit now, and just buy a new one at Canadian Tire or Home Depot.
By the way, Rona refused to publish my review!

Livraisons MÉDIOCRES

J'ai dû commander le même article 3 fois avant d'abandonner carrément car l'article arrivait TOUJOURS endommagé dans une boîte à moitié démolie et tenant à peine à l'aide de duct tape brun. Au moins j'ai pû obtenir un remboursement.

What has happend to customer service at…

What has happend to customer service at these stores. No one can speak english, no one seems to know where any products can be found. When I reach out to the customer service over the phone its the same thing. I have filed complaint after complaint. Sorry to say folks Home Depot is now my go to store.

Déception totale

Rona n’est vraiment plus ce qu'il était.
Service pourri, marque maison (qualité) pourri, prix pourri.

Question de temps il disparaîtra.
Pour laisser place à la concurrence.

Leur seul avantage est d'avoir beaucoup de magasin accessible, mais déçu à chaque fois.

COWARDS, I had a bad experiance with an employee at the maple ridge store [ where ALL employees seem terribly unhappy ] over another FALSE RONA AD. after complaining RONA sent me a case number however they NEVER ACTUALLY contacted me, i wrote to them several more times, got a case number but that was it, RONA are cowards COWARDS Fing COWARDS

Substandard plywood here. Go elsewhere.

My son bought some plywood for me to make some complex cabinets. I require the FULL length, 96 inches, but their sanded plywood comes with blue paint on the edge that also extends onto the two sanded surfaces! I called to talk with the manager. Never bothered to give me a call back. This is the second time I have asked to speak with the store manager and twice NEVER got a call back. I just wanted to point out that they should tell the manufacturers to be careful with their marking and maybe not accept those pallets of oversprayed wood. I used it as garbage utility grade plywood and went elsewhere to buy quality grade. Just wanted the manager to know. BUT I guess they really do not care for feedback.

No solution from Rona.

I’ve been waiting for missing parts from my online Rona order for weeks.
I’ve opened two cases (#01239960 and #01245841), emailed several times, and called twice — still no solution or update.

This is extremely frustrating. I didn’t expect such poor communication and service from Rona’s online department.
