Ordered a £200 hamper. Got an email with a DHL tracking link but clicking the link said parcel didn't exist and was with sender. After multiple email ping pong, they admitted that DHL had lost it (I have my suspicions that it was never even dispatched in the first place rather than lost) and that they would refund my order. Still waiting on the refund. Should have read the reviews.

Placed an order for Christmas presents and paid for named day delivery. The delivery didn't arrive and no explanation as to why. I have spent two hours trying to ring them and sent messages and emails with no reply.
Have sent email cancelling order and I hope to get a refund but have yet to hear from them.

TL:DR This is a good company with a good product that is well priced but is severely let down by their choice of delivery companies.
First purchase was 2023 of their £200 hamper. The delivery company was DX Express. It was a nominated delivery day. That day came and passed, then the following day was missed. I called them up and said I'll just pick it up from the depot.
After waiting for 1 hour they finally wheeled it and the box was soaked in oil. Clearly the bottle of olive oil inside had smashed. I took lots of photos. I refused to take the package and it was returned to sender. I asked for a refund and it was granted.
Second was 2024, same hamper. This time of arrived ontime and in 1 piece. Parents were happy.
I thought maybe the first time was the anomaly, maybe I was unlucky so I ordered again this year. Again for the same hamper, again nominated for delivery on a specific day. But this time was a disaster again.
The company they are using now is DHL, I had specified a delivery for the 15th. I had a postage notification for the 14th and it arrived early in the AM at the depot. Nothing arrived on the 15th, I called, they said it would be on the 16th, nothing arrived in the 16th, I called again, stressing that this is a food item, it's perishable.
I was contacting Snowdonia with what was going on and they kindly said they would send out another hamper as a replacement and this second one, despite arriving at the depot in the early AM was still delayed for 3 days.
When the hamper finally arrived you could tell it had been transported poorly. Nothing was broken however all the items in cardboard were all bashed and dented badly. The bottle of port comes in a cardboard tube with a metal cap on top. The metal cap was blown out in the middle from the bottle repeatedly being bashed against it from the inside. Kind of ruins the overall presentation when opening the hamper.
The company is good, their customer support is a bit slow. Forget about trying to call them they never pick up, it goes to voice mail eventually but don't bother leaving a message because they don't call back.
They do respond by email eventually (within a few days), and I have to give them credit for trying to sort out my problem.
I don't know what it is with their delivery companies but it's really letting them down.
I would happily pay more for other delivery options that don't suck.
I ordered some products on the 15th December. That evening I received an email to say it has been dispatched 24hr tracked with royal mail. Since then the tracking hasn't changed royal mail still say waiting for sender.
I have called multiple times to not be answered, I have left voicemails and also sent emails to have no reply also. I understand it's busy due to the time of the year but the website still states order until 22nd in order for Christmas delivery. I ordered on the 15th and still do not have my order. Shame as it was a Christmas gift.

Placed my order 5 days ago expecting delivery for the weekend as I was told delivery was 2-4 days. Gift never turned up. I contacted them on day 4 and it was only on day 5 that they sent my order out. This was a gift for someone I wonât now be seeing for a while so they wonât be getting a Christmas present. I am not at all happy with the customer service of this company.

On 7th November, I placed an order for Christmas cheeses, chutney, oil and vinegar, and seleted the delivery date of 18th December. The company sent me a shipping notification on the 17th. DHL then emailed to inform me my delivery would arrive on the 18rh. It didn't. As this was a Thursday, I contacted Snowdonia by email, in the evening after waiting all day for the delivery. I hoped that Friday would give Snowdonia chance to chase my order from there side. I also raised concerns about the refrigeration of my order. I received an email response from Snowdonia to advise ice packs would last 72 hours. Friday 19th, no delivery. I emailed Snowdonia again. I tried to contact DHL, but again, no phone number, and there automated system allowing for redelivery offered Monday 22nd as the earliest, which would mean my order would have been on ice packs for 5 days. I emailed Snowdonia again asking for a refund. Today is Sunday and my son as just accepted the parcel. Tomorrow is Monday 22nd and I will be making a formal complaint to Snowdonia. All in all, extremely disappointed in the customer service given by Snowdonia. I ordered in November, and reading the more recent reviews would have affected me making my order. It does not matter how good a product Snowdonia have if they cannot ensure it gets to a customer in peak condition. If their customer service, does not support customer, do not apologise (a gold standard), or offer help or solutions. Besides taking out human interactions like being able to speak on the phone, (which would be a great de-esscalationary tactic). Let's see what they say (write) tomorrow. So my experience review stands as 1 star.

I opened them all yesterday and served with crackers for lunch with my elderly parents. Each cheese was absolutely superb and worth every penny. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I've never had such melt-in-the-mouth, delicious cheeses and will definitely be ordering again.
Very disappointing experience with your company. Ordered 11 items items for a Christmas present. One item missing and one other box damaged. The items looked like they were just thrown in the box and were not protected well at all. Emailed customer service who responded within 24 hours offering an apology and saying missing item was being sent today. Weâll see if it turns up now. Absolutely no mention of the damaged box from items having just been thrown in box with very little protection to stop damage during transit. Wish Iâd have read the recent consumer reviews which make pretty poor reading before placing my order now. I wonât be ordering again from this company and would advise others to avoid if you value your items being delivered in a gift worthy condition. I can see the company responses about taking on feedback of consumers about recent issues, but it only helps the customer if you actually act on what people are saying !!

All I can say, having used Snowdonia Cheese for the first time, is that both their products AND their contact services are beyond criticism. I ordered a gift for friends, I couldnât see anywhere on the website to add a gift message or gift wrapping. Sent an email immediately following my order to ask about gift messages and to explain that there was none on the website. The order was dispatched before they even answered the email, meaning it was sent without any gift message. My friends then had to message to ask if Iâd sent it. The email response when it was received was unhelpful. The order was also left outside in the greenhouse by the delivery company. - perishable? Rodents? Disappointing and wonât be bothering to buy from this company again.

Ordered on the 11th, got no order confirmation, I emailed on the 17th got a reply on the 18th saying it's being delivered on the 19th, but they also said I could cancel that order and they'll send it out right away, which makes no sense because if it's being delivered on the next day it'll already have been shipped. I emailed back to ask for some clarity but have not received a reply and it's been a day. Been trying to ring but can't get through.
This is the last chance for a reply or I'm contacting the bank to get a refund.
UPDATE: on the 19th I received an email saying it has been shipped and I received the order on the 20th. All items are correct and products are all good. Changed the rating back to a 4 star, would have been 5 star if there were better communication.

I should have read the reviews. I paid for nominated day delivery but it was delivered almost a week early. This was a Christmas gift - no longer feels like this as itâs been delivered so far in advance of Christmas Day. No reply to phone calls, messages, or email. Very poor customer service. I canât speak for the cheese as itâs a gift. Have given 2 stars in anticipation of that aspect being ok. I will pursue the cost of delivery through my credit card since Iâm getting no response to my communication attempts.

I used Gpay to pay for my order. The website assumed the billing address and delivery address were the same and automatically took payment without giving me the opportunity to review the order or enter the correct delivery address.
Its cost me another £10 to send to the correct address.
Email reply which said it was due to their efficient and prompt delivery process - which is true, unfortunately to the wrong address.

I placed an order for Christmas presents - two hampers. Delivery showed 2 to 4 days. Four days later nothing has shipped and I wont get these for Christmas. Once was for my brother who has cancer, so I will have no present to give him when I visit him at Christmas. No one answers phone line provided. Terrible customer service and a very sad outcome for Christmas for us.

I have never dealt with a company which claims luxurious with no customer services at all. I made an order, had to reschedule delivery due to recepients being unavailble but I have tried to call for 2 days now at different times and no one ever answers the phone!!! I didn't bother with emails so that's a gift hamper gone to waste because cheese will be stale once delivered. I doubt there are cooling facilities at DHL. NEVER AGAIN!!!
