Agreexwith other reviewers-very poor quality, product not as advertised. I too didn't read return policy. Mistakenly thought the return would be to Hamptons Store. Do not buy from this bogus site

They make it seem like a US shop but it is in China. They have their 100% satisfaction guarantee return policy ALL over their website, but when you try and return you find out it will never happen. They start with 'you keep it and we'll give you 10% off your next order.' If you refuse, they keep offering things and then tell you to send it back to China. Ugh.

This is a company that says it's been in business for 27 years but website was only created 3/2025. Pictures and descriptions were inaccurate and the quality of the merchandise did not match the descriptions or pictures.

They claim to be a US company but require you to spend a lot of money to return items to China. The return address on the package is a US address. Returned merchandise to the address on the package, which was signed for by the receiver, but have not received a refund.

Total scam. Didn't get anything i ordered. Came from Georgia advertised " California boutique" when I contacted the seller they said id have to send the poor quality items back to asia?!?!?! And id have to pay some crazy amount to get it there. Reported them to BBB.

After waiting MANY weeks for delivery, the blouse I received was a piece of junk and bore little resemblance to what I ordered. Good luck trying to get a refund! I’ve been going back and forth with them for over a month, to no avail. A TOTAL SCAM.

The designs are nice! However, the quality is like a “polyester tablecloth”, though it was indicated as cotton under filter drop down. Additionally, customer service/return is very bad. The return shipping fee from US to overseas is about $50!!! These products are misrepresented, quality is extremely poor. Again, the designs are nice but what you see online is NOT what you receive.

I wish someone wrote a review about Sophie's Boutique Hamptons before I bought anything from there. First they are not a boutique in the Hamptons. The products are not made in the U.S. and you can not return them in the US. Not one of the 3 dresses I ordered was as expected. They are all made out of this polyester material that looks and feels like plastic. They say easy returns and nothing could be further from the truth. Their customer service is terrible. The minimum charge to ship back the 3 poorly made dresses I ordered is $78. The customer meaning me has to pay for it. In short I would say DONT BE FOOLED, their clothes are cheaply made and not worth even a fraction of the price I paid. Also I am not sure who the three women are in the picture they use for the website but this is not a mother daughter business.

SCAM! The clothes purchased are NOT as advertised. Very cheaply made. Deceiving marketing. My order came not fully fulfilled. The two of 3 items I did receive were cheap and unwearable. When I tried to return for a refund, they told me I'm responsible for paying shipping to the warehouse in China. However, they said I could keep my unwearable items and they woukd give me a 15% in store credit. I reported them to my credit card company. Do not lose your money by spending with them.

Scam!! You DO NOT GET THE SHOE ADVERTISED. YOU GET A CHEAP PLASTIC BAD ATTEMPT AT A KNOCK OFF. I ACTUALLY BURST OUT LAUGHING THEY WERE SO DIFFERENT. THE SCAM IS YOU GAVE TO PAY FOR THE RETURN SHIPPING, YOU ARE OUT HALF YOUR MONEY AND NO SHOES! IF I COULD ADD A PICTURE I WOULD. DONT BE FOOLED BY THEIR RESPONSE ON HERE EITHER. THAT IS ALSO FAKE!!’

Worst online store I have ever bought from. Quality of fabric is awful. Sent wrong product and then claimed that was the replacement. Can’t return anything because you have to ship it to china which cost more than your order. Total scam.

The company seems to have problems with their suppliers in Asia which are passed down to their customers in the US. They DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS, their honor is to give you back 10% of what you paid (which in some states it is less than the tax)
Never Again will I attempt to buy anything from them and have told about this to all my family and friends.

Scam! This site is SCAM!!! Do not buy anything from them! They advertise stolen pictures of dresses from other stores! Sending order from China. It takes about 2-3 weeks to receive ot. When i opened my package i almost fainted! The dress is ugly, looks like a nightgown, but the material is thick worm 100% Polyester, which supposedly should be loght , breezy, beach type of dress! The size is Wrong! I ordered XL but it looks like 3XL , the sleeve which is a little below elbow on the picture in real is super long covering almost all my hand with long nails. Colors are pale with cheap print all over. I contacted them by email to return dress. They said it is too expensive to send it to China, $30-$50 , so they can give me a store credit of $30 to buy some other “shitty” item. I wish i could inser a picture of what i received here. I am very mad!!

purchased clothing worth $243 from this company, but when the items arrived, the quality was not as advertised on their website. When I tried to return them, I was only offered a 15% refund if I kept the clothes, which felt unreasonable. When I insisted on returning the items, I was told I had to pay $50 for return shipping, in addition to being responsible for handling fees and customs charges.

Overall, I am very disappointed with this experience. The products did not meet expectations, and the return process is unfair and costly. I would not purchase from this company again, and I cannot recommend it to others.

Horrible. I ordered a dress from a company I thought was Canadian. The dress was shipped from China and is of very poor quality. It was described as "hand made". It's a cooke-cutter one-piece dress that does not look at all like the image. When I emailed to return it as stated in their policy, I was told I had to pay for shipping - not within Canada, but to China. They offered me 15% to keep it.

I would rate them 0 stars if that was an option! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Shoddy quality not at all like the photos show. The only way to return items is to send them BACK to China. The cost is astronomical and not assured by UPS or USPS.

Sophie’s Boutique Hamptons is a scam in many ways. They act like they are the actual Sophie’s Boutique but they aren’t. I didn’t receive my dresses for over a month or two and when they came, they were the wrong sizes and to send them back to China, it was way over $100 dollars. Be careful and I warn you before falling for this company.

They market as though it’s a business that unfortunately has to close! It’s A LIE!
The items come in two or more weeks from overseas and are missing any tags except size. They are sized wrong and the material is CHEAP AND BELONG IN THE TRASH! I can’t believe I fell for this scam. I’ve called my credit card company and reported them.

I ordered several items from this company on June 20, 2025, and still have not received my order. I have sent several emails and they have gone unanswered. I am truly frustrated, as my order totaled $272.14. I have not been able to locate a phone number, so if you have one, please share it on this site.

Order was placed June 21. 2025. Have not received order as of August 4, 2025. My credit card was charged 88.49. This must be a scam. Anita
