Speedy Car Hire have a reputation for debiting payments directly from your bank account without attempting to send you any invoices.

On top of that, when an invoice is requested prior to Debiting your account, and you ask them for confirmation of any parking fines or speeding fines on the RTA website, they fail to do so and suspend the service of your car.

Eventually when they do send the RTA evidence the dates of any fines and the dates that get invoiced, do not match… leading one to believe they manufacture toll charges, parking fines and speeding fines and threaten suspension of service and legal action when a Hirer asks for documentation.

Additional charges get added to collection or drop off of the vehicle without being made transparent. They then send you their terms and conditions, because originally they list their terms and conditions in the tiniest font on the back of a rental agreement which is not able to even be read due to the tiny font.

I should’ve have seen this red flag from the start and that’s my fault but what I will not do is allow anyone further to be scammed by these people.

They charged my card directly without informing me of the total amount beforehand or providing an invoice with a clear breakdown of the charges. On top of the Salik fees, they added extra charges for fuel, pickup and other services that were never properly communicated to me. The fuel tank wasn’t even full when I received the car!

They also increased the rental price when I wanted to renew, despite previously telling me the original offer would continue. Changes to the price and contract were not clearly communicated.

What made everything worse was the terrible customer service. I contacted several people to resolve the issue, but they were rude, interrupted me and refused to properly listen to my concerns.

I have never refused to pay legitimate charges, but customers deserve transparency, proper invoices and notification before additional payments are taken from their cards.

Unprofessional service, unexpected charges and a complete lack of transparency. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

just rented an 2023 s500 sclass with them and asked them prior to the rental if its clean and accidentfree. they said its in "prestine" condition. i ve received a dirty full of dents and scratches which is an american spec accident car with the front bumper falling apart. this is not just an insane disrespect of a straight lie its als dangerous. the whole car is such a piece of junk tbh. heavily disappointed and clearly not recommend this company:(

now they are black mailing me to take down my reviews before refunding my money

One of the worst experience of my life! they are scammers and dont return deposit ontime. they comit 29 days for deposit return but actually they are fraudsters and take around 40 days to return your money that too all other rent-a-car companies return it back to your credit card but they do a cash deposit in your account thats too something strange. First they send you invoice with different expenses and then after all the time when finally they decide to return your money they'll add multiple other expenses and deductions. In so many years of renting cars frequently this company was the biggest mistake of my life. I wouldn't recommend anyone to get cars from them. They also threat you for criminal case if you tell them you'll post review.

Extremely disappointing and unprofessional service from Speedy Drive.
First of all, they failed to deliver the car twice despite confirmed bookings. I needed the car at the airport and waited for almost two hours, but the car never arrived. I was stranded at the airport with my pregnant wife, and when I followed up, they casually said there was a miscommunication regarding the arrival date.
The very next day, I made another booking because I urgently needed a car to take my wife to the hospital for a regular check-up. Again, they failed to deliver the car on time, and this time the excuse was that they “forgot.”
Despite all this, I still trusted them and rented a car after two days. After completing my one-month rental, they are now charging me for vehicle pickup, even though it was never clearly mentioned to me that drop-off is free but pickup is chargeable.
Overall, this has been a terrible experience with extremely poor communication, unreliable service, and no sense of responsibility toward customers. I would not recommend Speedy Drive to anyone, especially if you need a car for something important or urgent.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by this rental car company. My experience has been frustrating from the beginning due to the unprofessional behavior of some staff members. Customers should be treated with respect, yet I experienced rude communication, shouting, and inappropriate responses through SMS.

The overall service quality is very poor, and the finance team’s attitude was particularly concerning. Rather than assisting customers professionally, they often behaved in a manner that felt disrespectful and dismissive.

I also encountered situations where information provided was inconsistent or inaccurate, and certain charges were applied without proper communication or approval. Additionally, terms and agreements appeared to be changed without adequate consultation or notification to the customer.

As a paying customer, I expect transparency, professionalism, and respectful treatment. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet these basic standards. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and improves its customer service, communication practices, and internal processes.

I’m quite not happy with the post-rental billing practice. After completing my rental, paying everything in full, and receiving my official final clearance, Speedy Drive automatically charged my credit card again without authorization. I immediately emailed their team with my proof of payment and clearance documents to demand a clarification, but I have yet to receive a response. Charging a customer's card after a finalized clearance is completely unacceptable. I need this clarification and refund immediately.

Never rent, scammers

I would strongly advise to never rent with this company. They randomly take money from your account without warning or sending invoices & receipts. I have rented from them in a month after I realised what they were doing and I blocked my card still they managed to take over 3k from my account.

They stole from me. Plain and simple. Took my card details and helped themselves. No inspection. No signature. Just theft. This company is a scam operation. Stay far away.

This has to be the worst car rental agency I’ve ever dealt with. They seem to operate on a simple business model: agree on one amount, then deduct whatever they feel like later.

They deducted more money than what was agreed, and when it came to fine disputes, suddenly everyone went missing. Refund? Forget it. Accountability? Non-existent.

They happily took an advance, but returning it fully was apparently too much effort. I had to follow up multiple times just to get a partial refund and even then, not the full amount. Chasing them felt like a full-time job.

Communication is another joke. No proper responses, no clarity, no professionalism. Once they have your money, customer service magically disappears.

If you enjoy stress, endless follow-ups, unexplained deductions, and being ignored go ahead and rent from them.
Otherwise, save your money, your time, and your sanity. Avoid this agency at all costs.

Am not targeting these guys better they can start pickpocketing,when I went to their office to return the car it was closed (8.15pm).I confirm return on the same day when I got a w message
I message them also in the same time no one responded ,so I don't have any other options ,next day they resfuse that they close on 8.30 and they charged for one day extra .and I saw a foreign lady returning the car these guys teasing her in our Hindi language and they charges her 1000 aed for a small scratch,she was telling them she have garage contact she will do it her self but they didnt entrain her ,am Soo Soo fed up
