Informative initial discussion regarding procedure for potential house sale & timescales involved

Spring are just another ridiculous waste of time. We were contacted by them after our developper started working with them and put off making any market adjustments to our property until they’d been. 2 estate agents came out and one surveyor. They take the lowest valuation and then knocked off £48,000 off of that as our offer. Absolute joke. Don’t waste your time!

Springmove did exactly what they said they would in the timeframe agreed. The only suggestion I have to improve the service is to communicate more during the process as although everything went through smoothly I would have preferred to know that things were progressing and where we were up to in the process.

We bought our new property from Spring and have now moved into the property. They themselves purchased the property from a vendor who wanted a quick sale. The buying process was relatively smooth however we did wait a long time for Spring's original purchase to go through before we could start our own purchasing process. I understand the company cannot inspect the homes that they purchase and sell on however it would be an idea for them to send in a cleaner for all the properties they purchase as ultimately they are the vendor that the onward seller buys from. The property we have purchased from Spring in parts has been left absolutely filthy including mouldy plates and cutlery in the dishwasher! We understand the property is sold as seen however we expected it to be relatively clean and empty

I was recently involved in negotiations with Spring on a new home property purchase. I dealt with Shah Hyder during the negotiations and he provided a very efficient and professional service that resulted in a property deal on one of our new homes sites.

Thank you Shah for being so helpful to go through the process, which is new to us, and making it smooth so far. Hopefully it all goes well to completion but so far Shah has been excellent and we would recommend enquiring / using Spring.

A fairly short phone conversation which I found a little difficult to understand, but it was polite and informative. I haven’t heard any more but the extra exchange seems to be going through ok.

Everyone knows that moving house can be stressful and uncertain, the team at Spring were there for us when we thought our chain was broke. Spring provided reassurance and practical solutions to fix the chain, at a pace, with openness and transparency. Great service, great team!

Valerie at Spring has given exemplary service in our prospective purchase of a McCarthy Stone apartment for my in-laws. She provided up to date information during the process and gathered additional, unexpected information for us when requested.
We have unfortunately had to pull out of the process due to unforeseen circumstances.
The only downside is the very low offer that was made on the house we were hoping to part-exchange, but it wasn't this that was the reason for our withdrawing. Also, we respect that McCarthy and Spring both need to make a profit on the arrangement; so have no ill-feeling regarding anything in that part of the arrangement.

The service Spring provide was extremely quick and efficient. Having had a traumatic 6 months trying to sell our property on the open market and a buyer pulling out at the very last minute their part exchange package was a breath of fresh air.

Shah was extremely helpful on both occasions when I spoke to him. On the second occasion he answered all of the questions that I had and made sure that I understood.

Service was good, the valuation of the house seemed fair and Spring were transparent about their offer. You would need to have a good reason to accept the discount though to want to go ahead
