5 Stars Plus for Sunpool Villas
I am writing this review based on my experience dealing with Sunpool Villas since January 2026. While we have not yet travelled, we have already booked Villa Buenaventura in Playa Blanca for July 2026 and, based on our experience so far, have gone on to book additional villas through Sunpool Villas for a family holiday in December 2026.
From the very beginning, the service has been excellent. Every enquiry has been answered promptly, professionally, and courteously. The team has been extremely helpful and has made the booking process straightforward and stress-free.
At one stage, I made a mistake with a booking. Rather than simply pointing out the error, the Sunpool Villas team took the time to speak with the villa owner on our behalf and worked hard to find a solution. Their willingness to help and go the extra mile was greatly appreciated.
We also had a situation where some guests would be leaving during our July holiday and another would be arriving. Once we explained the circumstances, Sunpool Villas and the villa owner were very accommodating and helpful. We found that being open and honest about the situation resulted in a positive outcome for everyone involved.
I would also like to compliment the owner of Villa Buenaventura, who has been extremely accommodating whenever requests have been made through Sunpool Villas.
The villa looks fantastic, and my family and I are looking forward to our stay in July and again later in the year. Based on the customer service, communication, professionalism, and support we have received so far, I would have no hesitation in recommending Sunpool Villas to family, friends, and anyone looking for a villa rental company they can trust.
A first-class service from a company that genuinely cares about its customers.

It was our third stay at Casa Canela
It was our third stay at Casa Canela. It we had a few issues this time
The pool was just too cold
We had an electrical fault meaning we had no power for 5 hours
There was building work two doors down which was annoying and loud.
The pool man wasn’t as good as in previous stays with debris left in the pool even after cleaning
Kitchen area is too small with not enough work surfaces for a villa which holds 12 people.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback, and above all, thank you for choosing Casa Canela for the third time. We are truly sorry to hear that this stay did not meet the standard of your previous visits.
Regarding the kitchen area and accessibility, we would like to clarify one important point. An additional auxiliary unit was added. Before your stay, we informed you of this change because we were concerned that the villa might no longer be as suitable for wheelchair access as it had been during your previous visits. We sent you photos and measurements of the remaining access spaces so that you could decide whether Casa Canela would still meet your family’s needs. The kitchen area is also shown clearly in several photos on the villa listing.
Regarding the pool temperature, our pool technician checked it during your stay and sent us a photo showing the water at 27°C. However, we understand that the exceptionally cold weather Lanzarote has experienced this winter may have contributed to the water feeling colder than expected, even though the temperature was within the normal range. As soon as you mentioned that it felt too cold, we asked for the heating to be increased.
The electrical fault was a very unusual and unexpected incident caused by the exterior fuses blowing. This had never happened before at the villa. When the electrician attended, we were advised that the issue may have been linked to an overload or a fault with equipment connected at the property at the time. As soon as we were informed, we treated the matter as urgent, especially as we understood that some equipment being used by your group required a continuous electricity supply. We therefore contacted several electricians and made every effort to have the issue repaired as quickly as possible. We fully appreciate that being without electricity for several hours is very inconvenient, and we are sincerely sorry for the disruption this caused.
With regard to the nearby building work, we are also sorry that this affected your stay. Unfortunately, we were not aware that any building work was taking place nearby, as works carried out by third parties in the surrounding area are outside our control and no previous guests had reported any noise disturbance. For this reason, we had no prior information that would have allowed us to warn you in advance. Neither the guests before nor after your stay reported any disturbance. Nevertheless, we completely understand that noise during a holiday can be very frustrating.
We are also sorry to hear your comments about the pool cleaning and will pass this on to the owner so it can be reviewed with the pool maintenance team.
We must admit that we were very surprised to receive this review, as Casa Canela usually receives very positive feedback from our guests, and your previous stays had also gone well. However, we do take your comments seriously and we are genuinely sorry that, despite our efforts, this stay was not as enjoyable as your previous ones.
We value your loyalty very much and we appreciate the trust you placed in us by returning to Casa Canela three times.

Fabulous Villa
We visited Villa Casa Canela for a family holiday in late April for one week. The Villa was situated in a quiet area on the outskirts of Playa Blanca. It felt like a real home from home, including an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room, which had a large TV. Three of the bedrooms had en suites and TVs. To the front and back there were beautiful landscaped gardens. There was a lovely heated pool, jacuzzi,pool table, dart board and table tennis. To the side of the Villa there was a play area and Cabana bed with direct access to 2 of the bedrooms. The Villa catered for all age groups,my favourite spot was the upper terrace with beautiful mountain views.
I would definitely recommend renting this fab Villa if youre looking for a relaxing family break 😊

A fabulous family holiday
The villa was beautiful and absolutely ideal for our family holiday. Located with easy reach to the beach and marina and Aldi a short walk away.
The pool was the highlight. Gorgeously warm for the baby, toddler and children and adults.
Sun pool villas was an excellent company to work with. Emails responsive and service excellent.
Everything worked so well we have book for next year.

A fantastic stay
A fantastic stay! Our third time staying at Villa Lisi and can’t praise it enough. Very clean and well equipped with bright sunny rooms and a very inviting patio and garden area. Everything was as it should be and I would highly recommend Sunpool. They were very welcoming and answered our queries promptly. The booking process was also straightforward and efficient.
No negative thoughts about this company at all.

Great service, wonderful villas and value for money
This was our second stay arranged through Sunpool and I have to say they are a wonderful company to deal with, very response, well organised, easy booking and payment process. Kept informed throughout lead up to holiday and ID verification process was straight forward. Welcome at the villa was great and feedback on departure second to none. We are not looking at other places we can visit with them :-)

What a great Company to deal with.
What a great Company to deal with when renting a Villa abroad!
Their communication is excellent, timely up to date and in fluent English.
They respond to questions within hours of sending an email.
The details of arrival at the villa was excellent, exactly what you need to reassure you where to find it and how to get in (we were met by the owner who showed us everything despite arriving far earlier than the check in time).
I will use Sunpool Villas every time I need to hire a Villa and would recommend them to all.
