Our mortgage broker arranged a call with The Loan Partnership as an alternative means of consolidating credit card debt.

In a nutshell, between my husband and myself we were juggling 9 credit cards, some on zero rate/low rate but the majority on SVR; paying the minimum amounts but not clearing the debt. We had very little spare income left at the end of the month, were in no situation to save for unforeseen expenses and felt the debt was only going to get worse once all the credit cards were off their low rates.

Personally, I felt embarrassed about the debt and hated the situation we were in although the majority was due to various large life events over the past 10 years.

From my first phone call with Kurt (Thomas) he made me feel at ease and assured me there was no shame. As he said "life happens". He listened to our position, established what we wanted from the debt consolidation, and went through options clearly, professionally and in a friendly manner.

Claire (Voss) picked up the application and took it to completion with regular updates along the way. Again, the same level of understanding, care and consideration was given.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I really thought we were beyond all help financially. The product they found for us is saving us £524 a month and has made such a huge difference in how we can move forward.

Both Kurt and Claire delivered exceptional customer service from the first phone call through to completion. They both took away any shame or embarrassment about the debt, appreciated our circumstances and dealt with empathy throughout - we really felt like they were on our side and wanted to get a resolution that would work for us.

The Loan Partnership was reccomended to me by a friend. The attention to detail that Kurt and Brooke showed from the very start to the end was nothing short of exceptional.

I would highly recommend The Loan Partnership. Emma and Leanna took care from beginning to end. They updated me with all the required documents and the next stage of my application process. They managed to get a suitable product and have saved £860 on my monthly outgoing within 1 week from my application. The brokerage fees are reasonable but are worth it when you consolidate other debts and make them comfortable payments.

I would highly recommend the services of the The Loan Partnership. Emma, Rob and the team were friendly, reassuring and extremely efficient throughout the whole process which was also extremely quick! From consultation to receipt of funds - one week! Dan Venning and Clair Voss were absolutely phenomenal.

I cannot praise them enough. We had adverse credit and we have tried several companies from May 2023 until we came across the loan partnership in December. Within days, Dan and Clair had completed all the required paper work for us to receive our secured loan. Within 10 days and this is no exaggeration!

Not only were Dan Venning and Clair Voss courteous, professional, polite, honest, compassionate and hard working, they also had integrity. They spoke the truth, they responded to phone calls and emails in a timely manner.

I was impressed at the speed and efficiency of the team sorting out my loan. Cannot recommended this company enough. Charlie and Rob were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

The Loan Partnership have just helped me complete my second charge loan. They have been efficient from start to finish : Charlie and Brooke were excellent, explaining and helping me with the documentation until completion as well as being very patient with me. The whole process only took a week. I would highly recommend The Loan Partnership.

Not a good experience. They recommended a company called West One Loans who weren't very competent. A broker is meant to streamline the process and make the whole application easier. Not so, in our case.

1) While TLP respond quickly, they need to accept that mistakes can be made and be more up-front acknowledging this. They need to accept West One's processes need urgent reviewing.

2) Please forewarn of ID checks (Onfido in this case) from your lending partner. We'd already verified our IDs with TLP. We received unexpected emails with links to verify our ID directly from West One. In an era of identity theft and fraud, this is not good. Aside from that, Onfido does not work well. Please refer to Onfido's Trustpilot rating and feedback.

3) It's also important to consolidate questions and not constantly send emails with 1-2 questions. Also, proof-read your emails more carefully for the sake of clarity, even if busy and under pressure. Finally, signpost multiple signatures on overly-complicated application forms (such as West One's). It helps the applicant.

I'm sure other people had better experiences with TLP but that doesn't invalidate our experience. Stop making excuses and telling the customer 'That's the way it is'. Your referral partner (Impact) also needs to learn this. The phone call from them was very unpleasant and they talked me down rather than listening about what went wrong. Tone of voice is everything. Listen and learn to honest feedback, don't gaslight customers.
