I don't usually write reviews but for this I had to. Hat was poorly packaged. Packed in a plastic bag. Not even a box, so the hat and brim was completely bent and banged up. Didn't even look like a new hat. Also it took about a month to arrive, only to be disappointed with how I received it. They totally lie about the quality of the hat as well. Looks pretty old. So I'm pretty upset that I spend my money expecting a quality product only to receive something that looks like it was handed down to me from my great uncle.

I've given them 24 hours to respond to my dissatisfaction and it will come as no surprise that I've been ghosted. I am so angry with myself for being suckered into this scam site. I spent £40 on a King (Jet Black Straw) was so looking forward to getting it for this years festivals. I waited seven weeks and my heart sank when I was notified the order had been dispatched from CHINA. It arrived in a plastic envelope, flattened crushed. When I opened it my concerns were confirmed, a manky badly assembled, mis-shaped, cheap cloth attempt of a hat. Utterly useless and not even remotely close to what I ordered. To add insult the hat didn't even fit despite ordering an XL. Utter Utter garbage. I'm so effin angry. Plus disgusted with Facebook for allowing scam sites to advertise.

UPDATE: I did receive a full refund, appreciate that but the site is still being advertised

Absolute garbage chinese costume hats! The website says “Handmade with love right here in the good ol' USA.” It’s only after you get the receipt, and after the month-long wait for shipping, that you find out that they are made in China.
Same experience as others here. They offer $20 refund (which now I doubt they will ever send) and recommend not to return it. Why? They don’t want their own garbage back!
I wish I had read Trust Pilot reviews before I allowed threadhat.com to scam me. Looking back I found a dead giveaway that their product is lousy: there are no customer reviews on their website!

Avoid 2 weeks since ordering . Out of stock . Uploaded a tracking number and item still not shipped . DO NOT SHOP HERE !!!!

This company sell absolute junk. Do not buy anything - the product you will receive will be nothing like advertised and of woeful quality. I can send pictures to who want it

They don’t want to give back any money even when I totaly showed the received product is rubish

I bought it for my dad, and it looks so cool on him, it feels soft and good quality…

The product looked of good quality and design, very fashionable. Great price for a very nice hat.

Customer service is terrible. Sent me the wrong size and then advised me not to return it because it would be too expensive . Told me to take $20 rebate and sell the hat. Sent it to me in a mailing bag and got damaged in transit. Only gave them a one star because they sent a hat. BEWARE!

Where is my High Plains Drifter hat?!!
I ordered it over a month ago. Either refund me my $46, or send me my hat!! Do not order from this company.

Dit bedrijf is hetzelfde als Homburg hat of tiendahat, verschillende naam voor dezelfde hoeden van dezelfde fabriek in China. Ze gebruiken foto's van Cappelleria Melegari website waar ze 4 of 5 keer zo duur zijn en waarvan de kwaliteit veel hoger is. Die foto's plakken ze op hun website met een veel goedkopere prijs eronder en als je die hoed besteld krijg je een goedkope fake copy van ze die niet hetzelfde eruit ziet als die op hun foto. Ik heb gevraagd om het geld wat ik betaald had terug te storten. Nog geen antwoord gehad.

Just received my 'hat'. It was completely bent out of shape by virtue of being sent in an envelope. It is extremely cheap, poorly made, and barely looks like the advertisement.

I will not buy from them again.

The hat that arrived looked nothing like the photo on their website. Since they shipped it in a plastic bag, it arrived completely crushed. When I wrote their customer service asking to return the hat for a refund, their representative "Jenny" wrote this: "I really don't recommend doing a return. Returning it back could cost you more time, more money and more energy. (we don't provide a shipping label, sorry!) Do note that the cost of return will be paid by yourself as we state in the return policy on the website.

If you don't want to keep it, maybe you can give it to a family member or a friend as a gift? Or resell to other people? Is that ok with you? Would you mind that you kindly keep it and we refund you 20 dollars?"

I paid $79 for the hat, including shipping. Yes, they haven't heard the last from me. This a company is a FRAUD.

Frankly, I'm disgusted that I have to give 1 star to this company. Not only did I never receive my hat.. but I never received an email with receipt...or a tracking number as promised.. or a response from a manager after close to 10 emails and messages to their online store...

And after all this I finally got a response saying nothing but "wait patiently". And that was 3 weeks ago with still not so much as a hint of a tracking number or manager to speak to.

It's criminal that this company is still able to conduct business if you ask me. And if you would like support to my claim look no further than the slew of reviews with the same awful experience and customer service responses.

Looks like they use the same pictures and sales pitch as chenups.com - they claim to have leather and/or wool hats (and they show pictures of them), but ship cheap felt imitations that look NOTHING like the pictures. These are literally $5 - $10 hats that they sell for $60 on up. What a complete ripoff.

Good nice hat, looks like the picture. Easy adjustable to fit my big head. Shipped in about 3 weeks to the Netherlands. Little critique: would have liked a conformation email direct after ordering.

1 month and I have emailed the company twice, received 2 replies and have STILL not received what I ordered. I would suggest NOT buying anything from this site.

fatto un ordine per un valore di 80 euro ; un mese di attesa per ricevere un solo cappello sui 2 che avevo ordinato. cappello consegnato dentro una busta morbida quindi completamente schiacciato; una vergogna! fate schifo ; questa é truffa....

CHEAP Chinese costume hats. Absolute waste of money!! They don't ship in boxes, but bags. Then your expected to send it back to China to get a full refund, otherwise they offered me a $25 refund and perhaps I resell or gift the hats I purchased.

This is the WORST possible online shopping experience I have EVER had. Not only did the hat take over a month to arrive after my order was placed, but it looked NOTHING like the photo as advertised and arrived damaged beyond repair. Made with the utmost cheapest materials in a factory in China. Massive avoid!
